At the end, we discuss F You Kevin and Bear's near 300s in bowling and the upcoming shows since this is our last show for a little bit but we will have an NCAA March Madness show, NFL Draft show and a pre-season or early season baseball show! We talk: WoW (World of Warcraft), DnD, the Steelers, Mike Tomlin, last week's playoffs, this week's playoffs, Cherriola makes its way back to the banter, some replacements for playoff injuries, the Super Bowl, the Bears season as a whole in relation to the Williams to Kmet TD, during this part Tara joins Opi and the guys have a hell of a time razzing Opi as he's on screen but no mic or headphones, and then we get into player protection predictions for the Distillery. We will wrap up in a couple weeks with the Brewery and some post-super bowl talk but with Bear being unavailable next week, nobody will do the work so we will not be putting out content next week. A little shorthanded again this week but we just chat a ton. We talk about the games from last weekend and talk the future games but really, this was just a nice little chat session about different things going on in our lives along with some sports and how we felt about things like the Eagle fans pelting 49er fans relentlessly with snowballs and some of the coaching carousel going on. Don't let the name fool you, it's just something we mention early on in the podcast that got us pretty lively. We have the whole group back again and you know it quickly, because Opi is really excited to be talking to his friends again…and talking, and talking, and talking LOL. Ryan gives everyone a lesson on who holds the Guinness Book of World Record for biggest poo, then we go on a diatribe of stuff. In the mix of mayhem, we do talk some football. But first we have to rip on Opi's family and soon to be son-in-law. Then, we go over the FBFL championship, Rotisserie championship, week 18 of the NFL, and the NFL playoffs coming up. Bear and the boys have some fun as Opi has stayed in Florida and Grimbo has pretty much checked out. We have a lively and fun talk about Rosie O'Donnell, the Illini bowl game, the messy NFC South, go over our normal stuff but do it in a more chatty way as opposed to structured. Then Bear has some endof the season quiz numbers for the guys, talk some NFL, lots of Bears and Packers talk, then spend a bunch of time on the FBFL championship game. Ryan does let everyone know how nervous he is this week as he takes on the 33s in said championship. We finish with some quick Christmas talk and move into 2026. Happy New Year's everyone! This is just the Bear podcast! No Opi, no Ryan, no AJ, and noGrim. Bear has a little spat at the beginning on how awful and discourteous holiday shoppers, or people in general are. Then he goes into the a quick rundown of last week's predictions, Boom, Bust, and Sleeper, followed by NFL and then some quick talk about the upcoming games in the FBFL. Bear throws in a couple comments on Nixon's cheap shot on DJ. Bear does his best Grim imitation and the first one isn't good, but he nails it on the 2nd one. He finishes with some injury chat. We're Opi-less again and I'm not sure we're getting better atthis but we're having fun. This was just Bear and the Boys and we had a good time just talking shit. We skipped week 9 for 1 simple reason, no Bear means no cuts so this stuff can't get published. So, we plow through a couple weeks' worth of stuff in 1 decently quick podcast. We start with the picks and normal stuff and sprinkle in some stories of Bear's trip to Cancun. We tangent a lot, talk alittle about The Witcher new season, how easy it is to get hurt in our elder state, some news about Antonio Brown and Jamal Anderson and then we move into actual NFL stuff with injuries and what-not. OK, so we may not be able to see the future but we take a whack at it. We give our boom, bust, sleepers and then we go over who we think is going to be the top 5 players for the rest of the year at their positions. Each guy takes a position and rattles them off and most give decent insight as to why they feel the way they do. This was the opposite of last week when Bear and Grim ran the podcast, this one was done by the other 3 slackers who weren't there as Bear and Grim had work engagement to attend to. The boys chat about the FBFL and actually give Rob Barber a bunch of credit, so you could tell Bear wasn't thereto break that up. Then they go through the normal predictions and talk just football in general. The guys help Opi decide on a kicker and then he does the opposite and it may have actually worked. Then they talk more FBFL and teams having bye week issues. And finish up with some NFL bullet points and get a little goofy, and then call it. Right off the bat we just start ripping Opi, and rightfully sosince this week is just Grim and I as all the other putzes had to bail. Bear and Grim have a great time, keep it lively, and continue to shit on Opi so if you're a fan of Opi getting ripped on, this one is for you! We spend some FBFL time, but we spend a lot of time just chatting about the NFL. Bear does go off on the Brewers at the beginning to get that off his chest, it was definitely bothering him.
