Finding Internal Peace When Communication is Not Possible, ATH Episode 144
2026/05/04
In this final guided meditation on caring for and responding to anger, we learn that once all avenues of communication with those who have triggered our anger have been explored, it is time to accept that there may be no more hope in a resolution. When this happens, containment is what is needed.
Containment does not mean stopping yourself from feeling it. It's the opposite. You're just taking yourself away from the situation and you're feeling it as fully as possible. Can you see your vulnerable feelings within you, like fear or hurt or abandonment? Can you fully feel those emotions as well as the anger itself? And now that you are truly feeling the anger, can you come to a place of acceptance and peace?
Come on this meditation journey and find out more about how you can grow to find peace in your heart in the midst of anger.
Communicating Your Needs When Possible, ATH Episode 143
2026/04/13
In this video, the sixth meditation on caring for and responding to anger, we learn that while vitally important it is not enough to just be aware of the anger. Discovering your unfulfilled need that made you angry is also crucial to healing, but this too is not the end of the process.
We now need to share our unfulfilled needs with the person or persons who may have triggered our anger to begin with. If it is a loved one who is open to communicate, we can begin the road to healing with them. But it may often be someone who is not open to discussing it with us. Maybe it's a boss, or a coworker and you recognize that, no, I can't communicate with them. The recognition of knowing this is the only way to move into the act of containment of your anger. The all important containment phase is how we can discover that anger can sometimes work for us and not against us.
Using Anger to Discover What You Need, ATH Episode 142
2026/03/16
This video is the 5th part of our series on dealing with anger and related emotions. Robert again reminds us of the obvious fact that of course you don't want to be critical of yourself, and set the stage to suppress the anger or make yourself even angrier. Allow yourself to stay aware of the anger with a little voice inside that says, "I want to support you anger."
Stay aware of the unique vulnerable feelings that you have. Feelings like fear or abandonment, insecurity, rejection. Now Allow yourself to feel both the anger and the vulnerable feelings. And now in this fifth step, search our soul for what it is that you actually needed in the first place that made you angry. Anger is most often a reaction to having a need that has not been met. What is your need or needs?
Experiencing the Vulnerable Feelings Underneath the Anger, ATH Episode 141
2026/02/16
In this fourth of six guided meditation on caring for and responding to anger, Robert reminds you that if you act spontaneously on your angry emotions, it's going to lead to something destructive. But when you move into the containment phase, it gives you the best chance to glimpse the vulnerable feelings that lie buried underneath the anger. The more fully you feel the anger, the more you can sense that there was something that you needed that you didn't receive, and that made you frustrated. It truly is what made you angry.
Dive deeply into this fifth guided meditation, and discover what vulnerable feelings and needs you can discover that lie at the core of your uncomfortable feelings of anger.
Healthy Containment of Our Anger, Episode 140
2026/01/19
In Robert's third guided meditation on caring for and responding to anger and related emotions, he begins once more with first becoming aware of our anger, frustration or related feeling that most bothers you, and then moves you to the third step; containment of your anger. Learn what 'containment' really means, and how to do so in a safe way without suppressing this vital emotion.
Anger is a juicy emotion that is part of what makes us feel alive. Are you letting yourself really feel your anger? Do you know how to accept and experience anger without feeling guilty about it?
Caring for Your Anger in a Healthy Way, ATH Episode 139
2025/12/22
In this video Robert explains how once you become aware of your anger, you can then find ways to care for yourself to help alleviate this uncomfortable feeling. Your internal voice may say, "Anger, I see you, I feel you, and it's okay you are here." When you feel angry it is important not to reject yourself but to accept the anger and find a way to have it serve you in your life.
Behind your anger emotion is an unfulfilled need. When in an angry state, can you take a pause and ask yourself, what need do I have that is not being met? How can I use this anger to discover my need or needs and use it to catapult positive change in my life?
The vital Importance of Awareness of Anger and Related Emotions - ATH Episode 138
2025/11/24
In this video, Robert begins a seven part series on dealing with anger and related emotions. Like all challenging emotions, the key to becoming more at peace with them is always awareness. Without becoming aware of our anger in the moment, we are doomed to either act out on it emotionally, or to suppress it.
Please join us as we guide you through these seven meditations to help you learn the vital skills needed to gain control over your anger, allowing you to live a more free, happy and peaceful life.
Bringing Heart and Wisdom to Your Insecurity, ATH Episode 137
2025/10/27
In the conclusion of our series on caring for insecurity, this video and guided meditation reminds you of the potential empowerment you can have just by being aware of your unique set of insecurities. Have you discovered them? Have you noticed them as they appear day to day? Can you see that insecurities can be an ally, not an enemy?
Now that you know your specific insecurities, you can learn how to care for the insecurity itself. It's an ongoing aspiration that the more your awareness is noticing insecure feelings, the more you can guide your own life and be empowered to direct your thoughts and responses so that you can live the life that you most want to live.
Accessing Your Greatest Need to Support Yourself When You're Insecure, ATH Episode 136
2025/09/22
This video brings us to part five of caring for our feelings of insecurity. We have previously learned that by utilizing our awareness, we gain the ability to care for our insecurity feelings. This is a powerful starting and life changing state of mind.
Now let's use our new found skill of becoming aware of our emotions in the moment, and focus it on how your insecurity takes form in your life. Is your insecurity related to money? Is it related to your physical appearance, or maybe your sex life? Now notice the dialogue that goes on in your head. Is there a series of criticisms that go on? Maybe you say; what's wrong with me? Why am I so stupid? I can't believe I am not better at this stage of my life!
Robert helps you see that rather than criticize yourself, you can turn your attention into action steps to actually benefit your life and care for your insecurities, turning the emotion into a beneficial ally in your life.
Asking Questions from the Heart to Increase Caring and Wisdom for Insecurity, ATH Episode 135
2025/08/18
In this video Robert helps you ask these vital questions; Would you like to develop greater trust and greater confidence in yourself? Can you see that insecurity can undermine that trust? Do you notice the sources of your own insecurity? What would be the best way for you to help yourself while you feel your insecurity?
Insecurity is something that can monopolize our psyche. But In part four of caring for feelings of insecurity, Robert introduces more tools to help us better cope with this challenging emotion and offers a guided meditation to help you take steps to this goal.

How to Welcome insecurity as an Ally, ATH Episode 134
2025/07/14
In the third part of our series on caring for insecurity, we are reminded that the awareness of your insecurity feelings is a vital first step. Can you see the areas in your life where you most often feel insecure? When these feelings arise they often manifest as a general feeling of uneasiness and discontentment in our life.
When you recognize this unwelcome feeling, look at what your response is to it. Do you see it as an uninvited guest? Do you treat it like a friend or foe? Robert helps us learn the importance of recognizing our own specific feelings of insecurity so we can learn to better respond to them.

Accessing the Desire to Care for Your Insecurity, Episode 133
2025/06/08
In our second meditation on dealing with feelings of insecurity, Robert encourages us to learn the value of our responses to this uncomfortable emotion. Insecurity feelings and the way we respond to them can cause deep divisions in our relationships to ourselves and to others. Yet at the same time, these emotions hold within them the capacity for greater intimacy in these very same relationships as well. Can you see the value of becoming aware of these feelings and learning how to first cope with them, and finally welcome them as stepping stones to emotional growth?
