ake Care of You So They Can Get the Best of You | Just a Lil Heart-to-Heart
2026/10/02
You can love the people in your life deeply—and still be tired.
Being needed does not miraculously make you less tired.
This lil heart-to-heart is for the mamas, daddies, spouses, caregivers, leaders, pastors, business owners, strong friends, and all the:
“Don't worry, I got it.”
people.
Because everybody knows they can call you… but who got YOU?
In this episode of Hear My Heart: Just a Lil Heart-to-Heart, Coach Tiffany Rochelle gets personal about something motherhood taught her while breastfeeding: in order to nourish her baby, she also had to nourish herself.
And baby… some of us are doing the same thing emotionally, spiritually, mentally, and physically.
All the LEE'S. 😭😂
We're talking about self-care that has nothing to do with spa days or spending money, why we've sometimes made exhaustion sound sanctified, and why rest isn't something you have to earn by completely depleting yourself first.
We're also going to Mark 6:31, where Jesus told His disciples to get away from the crowds and rest.
There were still people.
Still needs.
Still work to do.
And they still needed rest.
But we're balancing this thing too.
This isn't permission to create a life where nobody can inconvenience you. Love sometimes requires sacrifice.
The question is whether you've created a pattern where everybody gets cared for except you.
There's a difference between sacrifice and self-neglect.
And maybe stewardship isn't only about your money, gifts, opportunities, and ministry.
What about stewardship of YOU?
Your mind.Your body.Your time.Your energy.Your relationship with God.
You are one of the people God entrusted to your care.
💙 Heart Check:
Are the people I love getting the best of me—or what's left of me?
And what have I been expecting myself to function without?
Finish this sentence:
“This week, I'm pouring back into me by ______.”
Or simply say:
POUR INTO ME.
Because taking care of yourself isn't abandoning the people you love. Sometimes it's how you make sure they keep receiving a healthy version of you.
You are Heard. Healed. Here on purpose.
If You Feel It—HOLLA.
Grace and Peace. 💙
Maybe It Ain't the Devil… Maybe It's You | Just a Lil Heart-to-Heart
2026/09/25
Everything going wrong in your life ain't the devil.
Yes, spiritual warfare is real. But sometimes the uncomfortable thing we're experiencing is a consequence, correction, repeated pattern, lack of preparation—or something requiring our participation.
In this episode of Hear My Heart: Just a Lil Heart-to-Heart, Coach Tiffany Rochelle talks about the difference between spiritual warfare and personal responsibility without falling into either extreme.
This isn't “everything is your fault.”
And it isn't “everything is the devil.”
It's an invitation to discern.
What actually happened?
What was my part?
Is there a pattern I need to examine?
Did God already give me instruction?
Do I need to resist, repent, prepare, apologize, change—or simply endure?
Because prayer is powerful, but prayer isn't a substitute for participation.
Heart Check: Am I calling something spiritual warfare because that explanation keeps me from examining my own choices?
Remember: Not everything is the devil. Not everything is you. But everything deserves discernment.
You are Heard. Healed. Here on purpose.
If You Feel It—HOLLA. 💙
Before You Cut Them Off… Check Your Heart | Have My Boundaries Become Walls?
2026/09/18
Boundaries are healthy. Boundaries are necessary. But what happens when a boundary stops being something you discern—and becomes your automatic response every time somebody disappoints you?
In this episode of Hear My Heart: Just a Lil Heart-to-Heart, Coach Tiffany Rochelle asks a harder question:
Have my boundaries become walls?
We're talking about forgiveness, reconciliation, trust, access, old wounds, and the difference between protecting your heart and hardening it.
Because sometimes cutoff is wisdom. Sometimes distance is necessary. Some doors absolutely need to remain closed.
But sometimes the person who accidentally stepped on your toe is paying for the person who stomped on your foot years ago.
And if everybody who disappoints you permanently loses access, eventually you may look around at your isolation and call it “peace.”
Baby… we might've spelled that wrong. 😩
In this heart-to-heart, we're separating:
Forgiveness — heart work.Reconciliation — relationship work.Trust — rebuilt through evidence and consistency.Access — determined with wisdom.
Before you cut them off, get clear:
Is this a pattern or an incident?Have I communicated what hurt me?Did they take responsibility? Is my response about what THIS person did—or what somebody else taught me to expect?
Heart Check: Am I responding from wisdom, healing, fear, punishment… or habit?
Because boundaries should help us love wisely—not make love impossible.
You are Heard. Healed. Here on purpose.
If You Feel It—HOLLA.
God Didn't Ask You to Carry All That | Just a Lil Heart-to-Heart
2026/09/04
Are you helping someone carry a burden—or have you quietly become responsible for their entire life?
In this episode of Just a Lil Heart-to-Heart, Coach Tiffany Rochelle talks about the tension found in Galatians 6: we're called to bear one another's burdens, but we're also responsible for carrying our own load.
This isn't a “leave everybody alone and protect your peace” conversation. We're talking about how to love people well without taking away their responsibility, growth, consequences, or power to choose.
Heart Check: What are you carrying right now that God only asked you to HELP carry—or never assigned to you at all?
Sometimes discernment isn't simply asking, “Is this mine?”
It's asking:
“God, how much of this is actually mine?”
You are Heard. Healed. Here on purpose.
If You Feel It—HOLLA. 💙
Why Can't You Just Say No? | Just a Lil Heart-to-Heart
2026/08/28
Why is saying “no” so hard—and why do we feel the need to explain, defend, soften, and apologize for it afterward?
In Episode 3 of Just a Lil Heart-to-Heart, Coach Tiffany Rochelle talks about over-explaining, people-pleasing, boundary guilt, and our tendency to manage other people's reactions to our decisions.
There's a difference between giving someone context because you value the relationship and giving them context because you need them to agree that you're allowed to say no.
Heart Check: What are you afraid will happen if somebody doesn't like your no?
You can communicate your boundary with love without requiring them to receive it with a smile.
You are Heard. Healed. Here on purpose.
If You Feel It—HOLLA. 💙
You Keep Abandoning Yourself | Just a Lil Heart-to-Heart
2026/08/21
Have you ever said yes when you really wanted to say no?
In Episode 2 of Just a Lil Heart-to-Heart, Coach Tiffany Rochelle gets honest about people-pleasing, boundaries, fear-based yeses, and the subtle ways we abandon ourselves to keep other people comfortable.
We're talking about loving people without losing yourself, why boundaries don't require a villain, and the real cost attached to every yes.
Heart Check: Where have you been abandoning yourself to keep somebody else comfortable?
You can love people without leaving yourself behind.
You are Heard. Healed. Here on purpose.
If You Feel It—HOLLA. 💙
