Empathy : Empty Me ~ Part 2
2026/09/01
Host Tammy K explores the question… Am I my brother’s keeper?
Scripture reminds us that the answer is yes.
We are called to love one another, bear each other’s burdens, speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, defend the vulnerable, pursue justice, and intercede on behalf of others. From Genesis to the New Testament, we see a consistent call to care—not simply for ourselves, but for one another.
In this episode, we explore what it means to truly be our brother’s keeper: to love courageously, advocate faithfully, pray intentionally, and step in when God gives us the opportunity and responsibility to act.
Building on the previous podcast, Empathy: Emptying Me, we are also reminded that loving others well requires wisdom. We can give, serve, and intercede without becoming depleted or unintentionally enabling others. The goal isn't to love less, but to learn to love well—with compassion, discernment, and trust in God.
Lord willing, may we be willing to stand in the gap, use our voices, extend our hands, and love others in such a way that others might live.
Empathy or Emptying Me? Helping You, Is Hurting Me ~ Part 1
2026/08/12
Tammy K. explores the difference between true empathy and being emptied by others, sharing from personal experience as an empath and Christian leader. She explains when caring becomes depletion and how to recognize the cost of helping versus enabling. Using scripture and practical examples, Tammy teaches the importance of healthy boundaries, saying no with love, and pointing people to God when our grace is spent. She contrasts positive support with harmful enabling and encourages prayer as a powerful gift. She also shares her recent season of transition, the launch of F.L.O.O.D. (For the Love of Our Daughters) and the No More Mama Trauma group, and offers encouragement to keep it real so God can deal and we can heal.
The Man Behind the Mask: He Bleeds Too
2026/07/01
What if one of the strongest people you know is quietly carrying the deepest pain? What if the smile you see every day is hiding a battle no one else knows exists? Today's podcast is inspired by the title of a poem God gave me. While I can't share the entire poem until it's published in an upcoming book, I will share a few stanzas throughout this episode because its message speaks directly to what we're about to discuss. We've all heard the familiar phrases: Men and women are like night and day. Women are from Venus, and men are from Mars. And yes, there are differences. We often serve different roles within our families and society, and we each bring unique strengths and perspectives. But beyond those differences lies a truth that unites every one of us… We are human…. We all experience heartache. We all know rejection. We all wrestle with disappointment, fear, grief, and loss. Whether the wound is visible on the outside or hidden deep within the heart and soul, we all bleed. As I reflected on that truth, I came across a statistic that stopped me in my tracks. According to the CDC, nearly 80% of suicide deaths in the United States are men. Suicide continues to be one of the leading causes of death for men under the age of 50. I couldn't just read those numbers and move on. I had to ask myself... Why? Why are so many men suffering in silence? Why do so many feel they have to carry their burdens alone? What has convinced them that asking for help is a sign of weakness instead of courage? Today, we're going to have an honest conversation about pain, purpose, and hope. My prayer is that whether you're a man listening today, someone who loves a man who's struggling, or simply someone searching for understanding, you'll hear something that reminds you of this simple but powerful truth: No one was created to suffer alone.
Forgive Yourself: Breaking Free from Guilt & Shame
2026/05/19
Host Tammy Kaye wraps the four-part forgiveness series by focusing on forgiving yourself — moving past guilt, shame, and self-condemnation into freedom in Christ.
The episode ties biblical truth (Romans 8:1, Micah 7:19) to practical steps: confront the hurt, make amends, journal or write letters, seek trusted counsel, set healthy boundaries, and choose forgiveness daily.
Tammy shares personal insight and ministry perspective, highlighting emotional healing alongside deliverance and the importance of rewiring our hearts and nervous systems to accept God’s love and God’s best.
Healing Through Unforgiveness
2026/04/20
According to Google forgiveness is “The voluntary, intentional decision to release feelings of resentment, vengeance, and bitterness toward a person who has caused harm, regardless of whether they deserve it. It is an internal process of letting go of the desire for punishment, aiming for personal peace, mental health, and emotional healing.” Host Tammy K points out the subtle indicators that you are walking in unforgiveness. She then provides five practical, proactive steps towards the healing journey of forgiveness.
From Bitter to Better: Resurrection Hope and the Power to Forgive

Happy Valentine’s Day: What’s Love Got To Do With It?
2026/02/12
Taken from Tina Turner’s song and lyrics - “What’s love got to do with it? Who needs a heart, when a heart can be broken?”
“What’s love got to do with it? “
Love has everything to do with it! According to I Corinthians 13: 1-3 , Though a person may prophesy, understand mysteries, have great revelation, serve in various areas of ministry, and do all of the things…If they can’t love and treat others right, it means absolutely nothing; they’re just making noise. Slang: “making noise” means that sounds impressive but has no value or follow-through.
“Who needs a heart when a heart can be broken?”
We all do!… The heart is one of the most vital/essential organs of our body. Just as with our physical heart when it stops beating, our life stops. When our psychological heart stops (becomes hardened)– the quality of our life stops. This is why we are told to guard our hearts because from it flows the issues of life.
Let’s talk about the origin of love, first loving yourself before loving others, and what love is and is not within a dating or marital relationship.

Remember the days you suffered great loss, and great lack? Fear, Foolisness, and Faith: Part 3: Faith
2025/12/03
Faith is not a name it, claim it doctrine – where we treat GOD like a genie in a bottle. Expecting Him to grant our every wish simply because we claimed that He would. It is not burying our head in the sand and pretending a problem/concern does not exist. Faith, because of relationship with God, is knowing that He is our ALL and ALL. We trust Him as our every need supplied and the answer for any and everything that life brings our way.
Fear, Foolishness, and Faith - Part 2: Foolishness
2025/11/05
There is sometimes a fine line between faith and foolishness… Faith is acknowledging a concern exists, but acknowledging God as the solution. Foolish is clearly seeing a concern and in the name of faith, acting as though it does not exist. Are you walking in faith or foolishness?
Fear, Foolishness, and Faith - Part 1: Fear
2025/10/12
GOD has not given us a Spirit of fear (one that is tormenting and crippling), but of power, love, and a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7 There's a difference between the emotion of fear that serves as one of our body's defense mechanisms. And the spirit of fear - the embodiment or mindset of a crippling or tormenting fear. Fear is a normal, universal emotion, felt by everyone at some point(s) in life. Fear, like all other emotions, can be a strength or a weakness - it is our reaction or response to fear that determines which outcome. Join me for a discussion on what fear is, the three responses to fear, various types of fear, and how they are evidenced in our everyday life .
