Looking Inward - When In Romans
2026/09/27
This week we look at the internal wrestling with God’s word we are all called to. Paul makes it clear in Romans 2, that God is more concerned about the inward condition of the heart, than any kind of outward appearance of religion. Ask yourself this week, ‘where does the Spirit need to transform me to be more like Christ?’ Take an honest look inward, and listen to where God will lead you in growth in Him.
Without Excuse - When In Romans
2026/09/20
In the verses today, Paul is beginning to explain the diagnosis of Sin, because if people are not persuaded of their lost condition without Christ, we are not likely to be concerned about deliverance from that condition.
The Gospel First - When In Romans
2026/09/13
As we begin in our new series going through the book of Romans, we look at the base and foundation of Paul’s letter - The power of God through His grace by the blood of Jesus shed for each of us. Paul makes the bold statement that he is unashamed for the Gospel. Can we make the same claim?
What About Eternity?
2026/09/06
Join us today as we look at this topic of eternity. What is to come for each and every one who lives on this earth (past, present and future) is one of two options - either eternal death apart from God or eternal life with Him. The realities of our sin is death, but the gift of God is grace through the blood of Jesus shed for you!
What About Tithing?
2026/08/30
When it comes to our money and possessions, we often like to play our cards close to the chest. But what does God tells us to do with our ‘stuff?’ “Where you treasure is, there your heart is also (Matt 6:21)” is a stark reminder to not put anything else in the place of God over our life. He has given us everything, including the gift of eternal life, so we ought to joyfully return a portion of what we have to Him.
What About Hardships?
2026/08/23
Are you burdened? Are you experiencing a trial, or hardship of some kind? There is room at the Cross for you! We may be afflicted on all sides, but God remains sovereign over it all. Run to him, worship Him, praise Him even in the storms.
What About Community?
2026/08/16
As we look at the importance of Community within the body of believers we see that from the Garden of Eden, God’s command was that it was not good for us to be alone. When we are unified within His community, he pours out his blessings on His Church. How can you continue to invest in the community of believers. How can you invite others in His great community?
What About His Word?
2026/08/09
How does God speak to you? Whether its His audible word, a word from a prohpet, or a pastor on a sunday morning, any word you hear from God needs to be tested and confirmed through His written word to us. We also need to be attentive in our listening, and humble enough to hear what needs to be said to us by God.
What About Communion?
2026/08/02
As we look at the sacrament of Communion (The Lord’s Supper, The Eucharist) we remember why the Passover meal was to be eaten every year. However, Jesus established a new covenant during that meal with his disciples, establishing that he is the final sacrificial lamb, the final Passover meal for all of us who believe in Him as our saviour. He has saved us from our sins, because he took them upon himself on the cross. That causes us to repent of our sins, to be purified by His blood shed for us, and to live in that new covenant with Him. Have you accepted Him as your Saviour yet?
What About The Trinity?
2026/07/26
Today we take a look at the foundation of the Triune God that we love and worship. Our God is one and yet also three, and we are called to worship our One God, and we are invited into fellowship with each persons of the Trinity. How can you step further into your relationship with the Father, Son and Spirit this week?
What About Baptism?
2026/07/19
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit (Matt 28:19).” Today we take a look at why Baptism is so important, along with 3 public declarations of Jesus followers who made the commitment to be baptized. What About Creation?
2026/07/12
Why did God create? The question that has continued to boggle the modern mind and the sceptics who refute the word of God. But science confirms that this universe has a unique and creative design that was created with intentional and such detail and such precision that only an intellectual divine being could have done such a thing. So what is our purpose as his created beings? And how can we glorify Him in all we do this week?
What About Tradition?
2026/07/05
Tradition can be a hard. It can be hard to let it go. It can be hard to hold on to. The question that has to be asked is “how should the church establish traditions?” Join us as we read together from Mark 7:1-13, and allow the encounter described between Jesus and the Pharisees guide us on the matter.
Exalted In Holiness
2026/06/21
This week we look at Hebrews 12:19-29 looking at how Jesus is Exalted in Holiness. He is perfectly Holy and is making us more holy as well each day. We are invited into His kingdom seen as his children, and so we need to rid ourselves of everything that is not holy and continue to call on his purifying power.
Exalted By Faithfulness (Pt 3)
2026/06/14
This week we look at Hebrews 11 and parts of 12 looking all those who have come before and who were commended for their faith. Faith is not a blind leap, or a lost wandering, it is confidant assurance of God’s working out of His will in our lives. What is hindering or clouding your relationship with God this week, and how can you continue to trust in Him who can do great things through us?
