Love or Nothing returns with Hero, an Afro tinged House Record reimagining of a song that almost never saw the light of day.
Written nearly ten years ago in a London apartment, Hero began life as a raw intimate electronic record, with Love or Nothing's own vocals carrying the original demo. Rather than leaving a favourite song unfinished, she decided to give it a new future, reworking it from the ground up and inviting SKV (Sean Killeen) to make it his own.
Sean's soulful, understated vocal brings a fresh perspective to a song that's been years in the making, transforming it into a warm, melodic house record without losing the emotion that made the original worth revisiting in the first place. Following collaborations with vocalists including Emmanuel Jal, Steve Attambire, Robins, Natalli and Nes Mburu, Hero continues Love or Nothing's instinct for building records around songs rather than trends. Every release starts with the writing and every voice is chosen because it brings something unique to the story. Some songs arrive exactly when they're meant to. Hero just took a little longer than most.

Love Or Nothing: "I wrote Hero almost ten years ago for a completely different project that was never released. I could never quite let it go, it was always there in the back of my mind. When I asked Sean (SKV) to vocal the track, everything finally clicked. It became the record I'd always hoped it could be."

Catalogue: BTR 002 Title: Love or Nothing & Nes Mburu – Lele Me Lele (Extended) RELEASE DATE: 6 February 2026 (all platforms) GENRE: Afro House DJ-Producer Love Or Nothing joins forces with Kenyan singer-songwriter Nes Mburu on “Lele Me Lele”, a powerful yet deeply vulnerable Afro House release that balances emotional depth with quiet optimism. The record feels intimate and human, while still carrying the scale and lift expected of a modern Afro House record. It speaks to hope, endurance and togetherness. Nes Mburu’s vocal performance is raw and understated, delivered with emotional restraint and authenticity. Love Or Nothing’s production supports this vulnerability with a patient, uplifting arrangement that grows gradually, opening into a chorus that feels hopeful rather than triumphant. ARTIST QUOTE: Love Or Nothing: “I wanted this track to feel strong but human. Not dramatic, not sad, just honest. It’s about continuing forward, quietly and trusting that there’s something hopeful in that movement. Nes’s voice carries so much truth that the music really had to step back and support it.” Nes Mburu: “‘Lele Me Lele’ comes from a place of walking through life with others, even when you don’t know where you’re going yet. The song is emotional for me.”
