Moses: Always Dependent
2026/10/27
SHAPED: The Making of Moses Moses' story is not just about what God did through him, but what God did in him. Over the course of his life God shaped Moses through failure, waiting, calling, leadership, and ultimately a deep relationship with His presence. And He does the same with us. God doesn't just use finished people. He forms people. In this series we will look at how God matured his servant Moses and ask whether He’s still doing the same with us? This week: No matter how old or mature we get, we are always dependent on God. We never outgrow our dependence to God.

Our assignment today is to see what caused the difference in Moses between Exodus 5 and 14. Is it that he saw mighty miracles or that he is now a man who knows that God is able to do what He promises He will do?

Our Vision
2026/08/17
Jesus not only performs a miracle in John 9, He challenges the spiritual sight of everyone who witnesses it. The question is not simply whether we can see, but whether we are willing to let Jesus expose the ways we have been blind. Jesus calls us to examine how we see every area of our lives, including how we see ourselves. And when He opens our eyes, we are called to follow Him in obedience and step further into maturity, even when that growth is uncomfortable. What happens when Jesus gives us sight we did not know we lacked?

In our 2026 sermon series, The Mind of the Disciple, we're exploring the everyday thoughts, assumptions, and patterns that shape our lives, asking whether they truly align with the heart and truth of God. After all, we live out what we believe. This week, we turn our attention to worship. It's easy to assume that simply being near God is the same as worshiping Him, but Scripture reminds us that nearness is not worship. Worship is Worship. In Daniel 1 to 4, we'll explore the difference between proximity and devotion, what biblical worship really is, and how "if...this...then..." thinking reveals what we truly value and trust. Join us as we grow in a deeper understanding of worship and learn how a renewed mind leads to a life that honors God. Passage: Daniel 1 to 4
