Radio Show #265: Pier G
2026/03/04
For episode 265 of Apparel Radio Show, we welcome Pier G (Piergiorgio Iodice), DJ and producer from the Caserta area. Raised on sax, guitar, and drums, he built a deep, instinctive connection to rhythm before diving into electronic music. House is his main language, but traces of drum & bass, techno, soulful and progressive shades shape his sound. His style is driving, raw and club-focused, tough house with weight and groove. This mix delivers pure dancefloor pressure from start to finish.
Radio Show #264: Vittorio Di Mango
2026/02/20
Recorded live at NAMA in Milan during Slate’s first anniversary, this Apparel Radio Show presents Vittorio Di Mango in a pure club context. Originally from Trani and now based in Milan, Vittorio, who's now also a a resident DJ of the “Hangover Milan” Community, has built a solid path through releases on international labels and a strong presence in the underground scene. His sound moves naturally between Techno, Electro and EBM, always guided by a clear rhythmic focus. This mix reflects his direct and functional approach to DJing, shaped by real dance floors. We’re pleased to welcome him to the long-running and renowned Apparel Radio Show series.
Radio Show #263: Mauhomme
2025/11/28
Straight from Mexico City, Mauhomme delivers a mix, for Apparel Radio, that feels like a late-night diary. Deep, dusty, and full of soul. Between the smoky bounce of Erykah Badu’s and the hypnotic pulse of Apparel Wax’s, and his own gems like "La Música" and "Burnin", he stitches a groove built for dancers who trust their instincts. Chicago jackin’ spirit meets jazz-soaked warmth, all filtered through his touch. A journey of honest house music, human, glowing from the inside out.
Mauhomme - Ecrit Pour Elle
2025/11/28
Over in Mexico City, there is a boy named Mauhomme. He isn’t just a musician, he is a little wizard of sound. He plays many instruments, spins records, and turns tiny noises into music that makes everyone’s feet start moving. One day, he prepared a special gift called Écrit Pour Elle, ready to be shared with the world on November 28, 2025, through Apparel Music. The story begins with the title track, a tune with a big heart, full of harmonies that grow like climbing vines, carried by a rhythm that makes your chest beat like a drum. A nod to the mid 2010s house era, slightly lo fi and rich in harmonic progressions. Then comes Burnin, where voices play like children chasing each other, sparring in rhythm to build a joyful race that keeps the energy unstoppable. At the end comes Cheesy, a warm hug of layered voices and a bassline flowing smoothly like melted chocolate. True to Mauhomme’s style, rooted in Chicago’s jackin’ tradition but coloured with jazz, funk and soul textures, the EP balances imperfection and intimacy, weaving vintage drum machines, tape hiss and electric keys into tracks that echo the basement energy of honest house music. It is music with soul, made for dancing not to look perfect, but to feel the story and the warmth inside every note.

APPAREL PREMIERE: CK722, Camillo Dal Forno - Pitcairn [Apparel Tronic]
2025/10/24
The forthcoming digital EP on Apparel Tronic ( APLTRONIC024 ) is the outcome of the work between two artists who form a creative pair but insist on not being defined as a duo. CK722 & Camillo Dal Forno, prefer to describe their practice as two distinct voices converging into a shared space. In this context, Trieste explores a surreal underwater landscape told through the perspective of the legendary eponymous bathyscaphe. Designed in Switzerland, built in Italy, and later serving in the United States Navy between 1958 and 1971, the Trieste became a symbol of human curiosity when it descended to the bottom of the Mariana Trench in 1960, setting a depth record of 10,902 meters (35,768 feet). The EP translates that historic descent into sound, through four short but dense tracks: a fast immersion into discovery. Each track mirrors stages of this subaquatic journey, and textures unfold like sonar waves bouncing off invisible walls, basslines resonate as deep mechanical pulses, and melodies shimmer with the glow of organisms hidden underwater. The narrative is not one of nostalgia but of renewed wonder, and the record invites the audience to descend alongside: a sonic echo of the Trieste ’s daring plunge into the unknown.
Radio Show #262: Robotnik & Spinnage
2025/10/15
Robotnik3000 & Spinnage bring their smooth and soulful energy to our beloved Apparel Radio frequencies, with a mix full of deep grooves and refined textures, celebrating their forthcoming record Sensual Waves EP. You can expect a journey through jazzy rhythms, warm synths and classy underground moods, just like their cross-continental chemistry between Tokyo and Europe. Perfect vibes for a late-night ride.
Radio Show #261: Plaisance
2025/09/26
You can’t really pin down Plaisance, and that’s exactly the point. Fresh off their debut Coldie EP on Apparel, the French duo step into our 261th episode of the Apparel Radio series with a mix that feels like their music: somewhere between Paris nights and a Chicago basement, equal parts elegance and raw groove. It’s house with character, deep, and cool. Tom & Antoine don’t need to shout to be heard; they just set the vibe and let it ride. Link: @plaisance-748992580
LABEL'S CABLE: Manzo Edits
2025/06/08
We’re thrilled to welcome Manzo Edits on our label’s cable mix series, dedicated to record labels and their owners. The new episode is curated by the Manzo Edits, a vinyl-only imprint started by Black Pomade in 2023, focused on cheeky, club-ready reworks that pack punch and groove without overcomplicating things. Each release features a tight selection of dubby edits, often rooted in obscure disco, Italian oddities, and sample-heavy funk cuts. While the label has deep roots in Italy and Portugal, support from DJs and collectors has been strong in many other places, including Japan and the UK. Manzo is fun, is raw, and it doesn’t take itself too seriously, but it always delivers on the floor. Link: @manzo_edits
