The Wide Wide Road
2026/10/27
Lyrics Below. “The Wide Wide Road” is a prophetic Southern Gospel-Rock song influenced by the gritty, blues-driven sound of Bob Dylan’s prophetic 1979 album *Slow Train Coming*, featuring a driving train beat, Southern Rock guitars, Hammond organ, and rich gospel harmonies. The song delivers an urgent biblical warning against false prophets, spiritual deception, and religious leaders who exploit believers for financial gain. Drawing upon Jesus’ teachings about the broad road to destruction, it calls listeners to spiritual discernment, repentance, and faithfulness to Christ in anticipation of His return. Luke 13:23–24 Someone asked Jesus, “Lord, will only a few people be saved?” Jesus answered, “Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter but will not be able to.” **Matthew 7:13–14 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many people follow it. But small is the gate and narrow is the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” **LYRICS** [Verse 1] I See The Writing\ Writing On The Wall\ Do You Hear The Message\ Do You Hear It All\ It's A Wide Wide Road\ Down The Road Of Destruction\ Don't Believe The Lies Of The Prophets Making Merchandise [Verse 2] I See The People Walking Down The Road\ Following These Prophets Promising Them Gold\ It's A Wide Wide Road\ Down The Road Of Destruction\ Don't Believe The Word Of The Serpent When He Speaks Through Them [Verse 3] And The Master Is Coming\ He's Coming Back Again\ When The Son Of Man Returns\ Will He Call You Friend\ It's A Wide Wide Road\ Down The Road Of Destruction\ And Don't Let The Devil's Lies Take Your Eyes Off The Prize [Verse 4] Oh, I See The Wisdom, The Wisdom From Above\ Crying In The Streets Out Loud, Listen Foolish Men\ It's A Wide Wide Road\ Down The Road Of Destruction\ If You Believe The Word, You Will Make Yourself\ Spotless And Clean [Verse 5] I See The Writing Writing On The Wall\ Do You Hear The Message\ Do You Hear It All\ It's A Wide Wide Road\ Down The Road Of Destruction [Outro] I See The Writing Writing On The Wall\ Do You Hear The Message\ Do You Hear It All\ It's A Wide Wide Road\ Down The Road Of Destruction **Additional Scripture References:** Matthew 24:4–5, 11, 24; 2 Peter 2:1–3; 2 Corinthians 11:13–15; Genesis 3:1–5; Daniel 5:5–30; Proverbs 1:20–33. © 2012 Shiloh Worship Music. To The Cross
2026/10/26
Lyrics Below… “To the Cross I Must Go” is a 1970s-inspired West Coast Folk Rock and Country Rock song, featuring rhythmic acoustic guitars, melodic electric guitar, expressive slide guitar, Hammond organ, Fender Rhodes, and rich three-part vocal harmonies. The song is about the call of Jesus Christ to deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow Him. Its central message comes directly from the words of Jesus in Luke 9:23–24, where He declares, “If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.” Jesus goes on to explain that whoever seeks to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for His sake will save it (Matthew 16:24–25; Mark 8:34–35). The lyrics reflect the humility of Christ, His sacrificial love at Calvary, and the freedom we discover through surrendering our lives to Him. In John 15:13, Jesus says, “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” This truth is echoed in the second verse, remembering the place where Jesus willingly laid down His life for us. The song also draws from John 8:36, where Jesus declares that those whom the Son makes free are free indeed, and Galatians 5:1, which reminds us of the liberty Christ has given us. The reference to His nail-scarred hands recalls John 20:27, when the risen Christ invited Thomas to see the wounds of His crucifixion. At the heart of the song is the profound truth expressed in Galatians 2:20: “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me.” Following Jesus means surrendering our own will, identifying with His death and resurrection, and discovering that true life and eternal freedom are found in Him alone. **Lyrics** [Intro] Hey...... [Verse 1] Take Me To The Place Where I Can Find The Grace Of Your Humility Cross Of Christ To You I Find The Glory Of True Liberty [Chorus] To The Cross I Must Go Following Calvary's Road At The Cross I Am Free To Deny Myself To Find Eternity [Verse 2] Take Me To The Place That You Once Were Where You Lay Down Your Life Greater Love Hath No Man To Lay His Life Down For His Friends [Chorus] To The Cross I Must Go Following Calvary's Road At The Cross I Am Free To Deny Myself To Find Eternity [Verse 3] Take Me To The Place Where I Can See The Nail Scars And The Way To Be Free Only Jesus Today Deny Myself To Pick Up My Cross And Follow You [Chorus] To The Cross I Must Go Following Calvary's Road At The Cross I Am Free To Deny Myself To Find Eternity [Outro] To The Cross I Must Go Following Calvary's Road At The Cross I Am Free To Deny Myself To Find Eternity © Shiloh Worship Music. God Be Merciful To Us
2026/10/25
Lyrics Below… “God Be Merciful to Us and Bless Us (Adonai)” is a song of praise, prayer, and rejoicing in the Lord, drawn extensively from the Holy Scriptures. Written in 2006, it brings together passages from Psalm 67, Zechariah 9, and Psalm 149, celebrating God's mercy, His blessing upon His people, and the coming of Jesus Christ, the humble King and Lamb of God. The chorus is taken directly from Psalm 67:1: “God be merciful to us and bless us, and cause His face to shine upon us.” It is a prayer for God's favor, His presence, and the light of His countenance upon His people. The Hebrew name Adonai, meaning “Lord,” becomes a recurring declaration of reverence and praise. The first verse draws from Zechariah 9:9, calling upon the daughter of Zion to rejoice because her King is coming. Jesus is the promised Messiah, the humble and lowly King who came not in earthly splendor but in humility, ultimately offering Himself as the Lamb of God. The second verse comes almost directly from Psalm 149:5–6, calling the saints to rejoice in glory, sing upon their beds, and lift the high praises of God with a two-edged sword in their hands. These words express the joy, spiritual strength, and victory of God's people as they exalt Him. Musically, the song carries a warm 1970s West Coast folk-rock character, with rhythmic acoustic guitars, melodic electric guitar, rich piano and Hammond organ, flowing bass, steady drums, and hand percussion. Layered three-part vocal harmonies give the repeated choruses a joyful, expansive sound, while the recurring Hebrew name Adonai connects the music to its biblical roots. The song is presented here in Hebrew (Ivrit), drawing upon the original language of the Old Testament passages that inspired it. The Hebrew lyrics preserve the biblical expressions wherever possible while retaining the meaning and devotional character of the original composition. **GOD BE MERCIFUL TO US AND BLESS US (ADONAI)** © 2006 Shiloh Worship Music All Rights Reserved. Let Your River Flow In Me
2026/10/25
Lyrics Below… “Let Your River Flow in Me (River of Life)” brings together the spirited sounds of Louisiana Cajun and Zydeco music with American roots-rock. Two lively Cajun fiddles weave rich harmonized melodies, trading spirited phrases over a rhythmic accordion, driving six-string acoustic guitars, melodic electric bass, rolling piano, Hammond organ, congas, and an infectious Louisiana dance groove. Rich three-part vocal harmonies lift the recurring chorus, while the twin fiddles bring the unmistakable energy and character of traditional Cajun music. The song moves naturally between English and Cajun-influenced French, celebrating the musical and linguistic heritage of Louisiana. Its joyful, rhythmic arrangement reflects the image of a river continually flowing, bringing life wherever it goes. At its heart, “Let Your River Flow in Me” is a Scripture-inspired prayer for the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts and flow through our lives. Drawing from Ezekiel 47, Revelation 22:1–2, and John 7:37–39, the lyrics celebrate the river of life proceeding from the throne of God and Jesus Christ as the source of living water. The repeated refrain, “Let Your River Flow in Me,” expresses a personal desire to be filled with God's presence, grace, and abundant life. The French verse and chorus echo this prayer, reminding us that the invitation to receive the living water of Jesus Christ extends across every language, nation, and culture. **LET YOUR RIVER FLOW IN ME (RIVER OF LIFE)**\ Shiloh Worship Music **LYRICS** [Verse 1]\ The River Is Wide And The Water Is Deep\ Flowing Down From The Throne Of God\ Praise And Glory With Thanksgiving\ River Of Life Please Flow Through Me [Chorus]\ Let Your River\ Let Your River\ Let Your River Flow In Me\ Let Your River\ Let Your River\ Let Your River Flow In Me [Verse 2]\ Jesus You Are The River Of Life\ Flowing From The Father's Heart\ Given Me All I Ever Could Need\ So I Lift Up My Hands In Praise Of Thee [Chorus]\ Let Your River\ Let Your River\ Let Your River Flow In Me\ Let Your River\ Let Your River\ Let Your River Flow In Me [Verse 3 – French]\ Le Fleuve Est Large Et L'eau Est Profonde\ Il Descend Du Trône De Dieu\ Louange Et Gloire Avec Action De Grâce\ Fleuve De Vie, Viens Couler En Moi [Chorus – French]\ Laisse Couler\ Laisse Couler\ Laisse Ta Rivière Couler En Moi\ Laisse Couler\ Laisse Couler\ Laisse Ta Rivière Couler En Moi [Chorus – English]\ Let Your River\ Let Your River\ Let Your River Flow In Me\ Let Your River\ Let Your River\ Let Your River Flow In Me **ENGLISH TRANSLATION OF THE FRENCH LYRICS** [Verse 3]\ The River Is Wide And The Water Is Deep\ It Flows Down From The Throne Of God\ Praise And Glory With Thanksgiving\ River Of Life, Come Flow In Me [Chorus]\ Let It Flow\ Let It Flow\ Let Your River Flow In Me\ Let It Flow\ Let It Flow\ Let Your River Flow In Me ©2006 Shiloh Worship Music \#ShilohWorshipMusic #RiverOfLife #CajunMusic #Zydeco #LouisianaMusic #CajunFrench #BilingualMusic #TwinFiddles #RootsRock #ChristianMusic #OriginalChristianMusic #HolySpirit #LivingWater #ScriptureSongs #JesusChrist
Purifícanos
2026/10/24
Lyrics Below… Spanish lyrics followed by a complete English translation. “Purifícanos” (Purify Us) is a very special song to me, born out of prayer during the years I was pastoring a church where several members of our congregation were Latino and did not speak English. Because I spoke Spanish, I longed to give them something meaningful that we could all sing together, regardless of our native language. I prayed that the Lord would give me a song that would bless our Spanish-speaking brothers and sisters and unite our congregation in His presence. When I sat down with my guitar, this song simply began to flow. It was not translated from English. The words and melody came together naturally in Spanish, expressing a prayer that transcends language. The song begins with a cry for purification: “Purifícanos, oh Dios, con el fuego de amor, cámbianos” — “Purify us, O God, with the fire of love; change us.” It is a prayer that God's love would cleanse and transform our hearts. The next movement becomes a petition for salvation and divine help: “Oh Dios mío, sálvanos, con tu poder, ayúdanos” — “O my God, save us; with Your power, help us.” From there, the song turns toward adoration of our Savior and a longing to be filled with His love. These simple prayers are repeated throughout the song, allowing the words to become a continuing meditation upon God's mercy, transforming power, and presence. There has always been something particularly precious to me about this composition. I believe the Lord gave it to me for a purpose, and I sense a special peace in its melody and message. I Never Want to Leave You Lord
2026/10/20
Lyrics Below — **“I Never Want to Leave You, Lord”** is a personal prayer to remain faithful to Jesus Christ and a declaration of why I never want to turn away from Him. Having experienced His love, goodness, mercy, and transforming power, I know that nothing this world has to offer could ever replace the joy and satisfaction of knowing Him. His presence has become more precious to me than anything else, and the thought of living apart from Him is something I cannot bear. The song expresses both a deep love for the Lord and an earnest desire to remain steadfast in that relationship throughout my life. It is a prayer for His wisdom to guide my steps, for His love to keep my heart, and for the grace to remain faithful regardless of the circumstances I may face. The words “That's Just Something I Can't Afford” reflect the realization that there is simply too much at stake to walk away from the One who has given me everything. He has brought me out of darkness and into His marvelous light, filled the emptiness of my soul, and given me a life of peace, purpose, and eternal hope. His love, like a gentle rain, continues to refresh and sustain me. Ultimately, this song is about **persevering in faith, remaining close to Jesus, and never forgetting what He has done for me.** It is both a prayer for lifelong faithfulness and a joyful declaration that nothing can compare with His presence. Musically, the song is rooted in 1970s Southern Rock and Country-Rock, featuring driving drums, tightly syncopated rhythm guitars, expressive pedal steel, rollicking piano, blues-influenced electric guitar fills, and rich male-and-female backing harmonies. The lively, rhythmic arrangement provides a spirited contrast to the deeply personal prayer expressed in the lyrics. **Lyrics** [Chorus] I Never Want to Leave You, Lord That's Just Something I Can't Afford Your Love Is Like a Gentle Rain Falling on Me I Never Want to Leave You, Lord That's Just Something I Can't Afford Your Love Is Like a Gentle Rain Falling on Me [Verse 1] Something I Have Discovered It's Hidden in the Heart of God Nothing Will Satisfy Me Nothing but the Presence of God [Chorus] I Never Want to Leave You, Lord That's Just Something I Can't Afford Your Love Is Like a Gentle Rain Falling on Me [Verse 2] I Could Never Love Another Since I Found You, Lord Vain Is a Life Without You An Emptiness of Soul [Chorus] I Never Want to Leave You, Lord That's Just Something I Can't Afford Your Love Is Like a Gentle Rain Falling on Me [Instrumental Break] [Chorus] I Never Want to Leave You, Lord That's Just Something I Can't Afford Your Love Is Like a Gentle Rain Falling on Me [Verse 3] Help Me Walk in Your Wisdom Wisdom from Above Life and Peace Forever Bound Up in Your Love [Chorus] I Never Want to Leave You, Lord That's Just Something I Can't Afford Your Love Is Like a Gentle Rain Falling on Me [Verse 4] I Could Never Live Without You After All That You Have Done You Took Me from the Darkness And into the Light I Come [Chorus] I Never Want to Leave You, Lord That's Just Something I Can't Afford Your Love Is Like a Gentle Rain Falling on Me I Never Want to Leave You, Lord That's Just Something I Can't Afford Your Love Is Like a Gentle Rain Falling on Me I Never Want to Leave You, Lord That's Just Something I Can't Afford Your Love Is Like a Gentle Rain Falling on Me © 2012 Shiloh Worship Music. In My Darkest Hour
2026/10/20
Lyrics Below. “In My Darkest Hour” is a deeply personal song about walking by faith through life's most difficult trials, trusting in the presence and faithfulness of Jesus Christ even when the road ahead is uncertain. The song explores the relationship between faith, spiritual vision, and the assurance of God's presence. Even when we cannot see what lies ahead, we can trust the One who walks beside us. Sometimes it is in our darkest hours that we see the Lord most clearly. The lyrics draw upon several powerful passages of Scripture: **2 Corinthians 5:7** — “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” **Proverbs 18:10** — “The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.” **Psalm 30:5** — “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.” **Revelation 19:11** — “And he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True.” Together, these passages express the central message of the song: God's faithfulness remains constant through suffering, His presence sustains us through uncertainty, and His promises give us hope beyond our present circumstances. Musically, “In My Darkest Hour” draws from the warm, organic sounds of early-1970s folk-rock, influenced by Jackson Browne, Bruce Cockburn, James Taylor, and Stephen Stills. The arrangement features acoustic and electric guitars, Hammond organ, piano, a steady rhythm section, and rich vocal harmonies. My prayer is that this song will encourage anyone walking through suffering, uncertainty, or difficult circumstances to keep their eyes upon Jesus, trust His promises, and remember that joy comes in the morning. **IN MY DARKEST HOUR**\ Shiloh Worship Music [Intro] [Verse 1]\ In My Darkest Hour\ I Need To See Your Power\ I Walk This Path By Faith\ In My Darkest Hour\ I See You So Clearly\ I See You, Lord, By Faith [Chorus]\ Lord, Even Though I Cannot See\ I Know You Are With Me\ On This Dark Journey\ Take My Hand, Lord\ Bring Me, Bring Me Into Your Kingdom\ I Wanna Live\ I Wanna Live For You, Only For You\ I Wanna Live\ I Wanna Live For You [Verse 2]\ Lord, I Walk By Faith\ Not By The Things I See\ But I Am Not Alone\ In My Darkest Hour\ Your Name Is A Strong Tower\ I Overcome, Lord, By Faith [Instrumental Break] [Chorus]\ Lord, Even Though I Cannot See\ I Know You Are With Me\ On This Dark Journey\ Take My Hand, Lord\ Bring Me, Bring Me Into Your Kingdom\ I Wanna Live\ I Wanna Live For You, Only For You\ I Wanna Live\ I Wanna Live For You [Verse 3]\ In My Darkest Hour\ Your Light, Lord, Comes In Power\ You Are Faithful And True\ I Put My Trust In You\ Weeping Endures For A Night\ But, Lord, Joy Comes In The Morning [Chorus]\ Lord, Even Though I Cannot See\ I Know You Are With Me\ On This Dark Journey\ Take My Hand, Lord\ Bring Me, Bring Me Into Your Kingdom\ I Wanna Live\ I Wanna Live For You, Only For You\ I Wanna Live\ I Wanna Live For You [Outro]\ Lord, Even Though I Cannot See\ I Know You Are With Me\ Lord, Even Though I Cannot See\ I Know You Are With Me\ Jesus © 2026 Shiloh Worship Music
