Presence
2026/09/20
What does it mean to be people who are led by the Holy Spirit? Jesus teaches that the Holy Spirit is close to those who love Him -- advocating for them and teaching them everything they need. In this talk we will learn from Jesus about how the Holy Spirit teaches us and guides us in our daily lives.
Peace
2026/09/13
We continue our series on ‘The Holy Ghost’ by discovering one of God’s great promises to our current generation: the gift of peace. When the Holy Spirit comes into a believer’s life, we are promised the peace of God, but most Christians would admit that the peace of God feels distant and fleeting compared to ever-present and on-going. Listen in as Jeff explores John 14 and provides a few insights on how the peace of Christ can be experienced today.
Power
2026/09/06
Many Christians try to follow God without His power and presence. We academically approach God like He’s only someone to trust & agree with compared to someone who wants to empower us with the Holy Spirit. As Jeff opens our new series, The Holy Ghost, let’s seek God for all the power He’s promised us, trusting we will do the ‘same & even greater works,’ because of God’s Holy Spirit in and through us.
Surrender Power
2026/08/30
Jeff closes our series on surrender by reading one of the final moments Jesus walked the earth. The night He was betrayed, arrested, and lead away to His death demonstrated how even Jesus Christ had to surrender His power. What would it look like to live by this same example? How can we surrender our power and yield to the guidance and direction of God? Listen in as we close this series through a powerful message about how power and surrender meet in the life of Jesus.
Surrender Understanding
2026/08/23
Jeff continues our series by exploring three different passages that all ask the question: “How is this possible?” The Christian life often requires us to surrender our understanding: of how life works, of how the Spirit moves, and of how we can experience God. What’s holding you back from a deeper level of surrender — listen in as we embrace the truth of Christ together.
Surrender Importance
2026/08/16
What if life wasn’t about trying harder, but trusting deeper? Join us as Jeff begins a 3-week series all about surrender. In today’s passage we discover that every good thing we have comes from God, He is the start of the show, and as we increase in surrender it actually brings joy to our life (not loss). May God continue to help us live a life of absolute surrender.
His Righteousness is For You
2026/08/09
What does it look like to trust God when we feel captive, afraid, or like we’re not enough? As we wrap up our summer series in Jeremiah, we look at Jeremiah 33:14–16 and the powerful promise of a coming Savior. Because of Jesus, we can be saved from the things that hold us captive, experience the safety of God’s presence, and receive the righteousness of Christ rather than trying to prove ourselves. Discover the hope found in the name Yahweh Tsidkenu—The LORD Is Our Righteousness.
Resident Missionary Visionary
2026/08/02
Jeremiah 29:11 is one of the most famous Bible verses — a passage the promises good things, a wonderful future, and a powerful hope. But without the context, we can sometimes miss the deeper meaning. The surrounding verses remind us that we are called to be ‘resident missionary’s,’ to plant and establish our lives where God calls us, and to build a foundational faith that gets passed on for generations to come. Then, from this place of being resident missionary’s, we can point people to the wonderful vision and hope of Jesus Christ — the One who has come to make all things new.
Follow Your Heart (?)
2026/07/26
Ever hear the phrase: “Follow Your Heart”? Ever follow your heart with no abandon? Jeff continues our series by opening to Jeremiah 17 and contrasting what happens when humans follow their own heart versus following the Lord. Thankfully, God has not left us to ourselves but promised to transform all things — including our minds, hearts, and lives.
Dry Creekbeds & God's Promises
2026/07/19
Has God ever seemed unreliable when you need him most? That’s how the prophet Jeremiah felt. Yet God answered by putting His own name behind a promise to protect, rescue, and redeem him. And God is still faithfully keeping that promise to us.
How to Pray When Everything Falls Apart
2026/07/12
When life goes off the rails and you’re filled with confusion, guilt, or anger, how do you actually pray? In this message from Jeremiah 10:23–25, Matt teaches how honest prayer turns us back to God instead of sideways at people or down into bitterness.
Boast in the Lord
2026/07/05
What are you most proud of? Jeremiah 9:23–24 challenges us to stop boasting in the things of this world and instead boast in one thing alone: knowing God. Discover what it means to truly know Him—not just in your head, but through a life-changing relationship that transforms what you celebrate and what you're remembered for.
Idols & New Beginnings
2026/06/21
What is an idol and do you have any? Contrary to popular belief, an idol isn’t just a wooden or metal image we bow down to in worship but it can be anything that takes the central place of Jesus Christ in our hearts and lives. As Jeff continues our series in Jeremiah, he looks at a famous passage where God calls us to turn from idolatry, plow up the hardened ‘soil of our hearts,’ and trust in Him again.
The Power of Confession
2026/06/14
How does our relationship with God actually work? What’s our job and what is God’s job? If/when our faith starts to slip, how can we turn back and work on our relationship with God again? As Jeff continues our series in Jeremiah, we discover how God views our relationship, the division of labor between humans and God, and how the ‘power of confession’ can move the heart of God and offer healing to us today.
Known & Formed
2026/06/07
Jeff opens our summer series (the book of Jeremiah) in chapter 1, verse 1 when God calls Jeremiah into ministry. What can we learn from Jeremiah’s calling and how does it apply to our lives today? Have you ever stopped to think: “Why Am I Here?” Ever get a godly answer? Listen in as Jeff explores this scripture and encourages the church towards a life of surrender.
