K-Town Keeps it Real: Firing Management, 25.5M TikTok Streams & The Pivot to R&B
2026/09/15
What's up, family! Welcome back to the No Offense Podcast. Today, we're sitting down with the one and only K-Town, who always keeps it authentic and never stops grinding. Since we last spoke before his anticipated tour, K-Town has been through the wringer, but he’s coming out on top with a massive 25.5 million organic streams on TikTok.
In this episode, K-Town drops some serious gems about the music industry, mental health, and his evolution as an artist. We dive deep into his decision to part ways with his former management due to predatory behavior and major red flags—like changing passwords to Roc Nation dashboards and fabricating a multi-million dollar Billboard Hip Hop tour. If you are an independent artist, you need to hear this!
Episode Highlights & Gems Dropped
The Management Trap: K-Town explains why he fired his manager, Tony DeYoung, after realizing he was being locked out of platforms and ignored during a hospital stay.
The Business of Music: Discovering 25.5 million TikTok streams completely by accident, K-Town emphasizes why independent artists must register with BMI and monetize their own tracks before thieves make off with the check
A New Musical Era: K-Town is officially retiring from "hood music" after his upcoming track KC Kings (featuring Larry Lowe). He is pivoting fully into smooth, timeless R&B, following the success of his hit Give It Up, Sexy Lady.
Fresh Drops & Live Shows: K-Town breaks down the intense bass of his newly released track Last Breath (produced by J Rose) and teases six upcoming live shows in the Kansas City area.
Mental Health & Unity: A powerful message to Black men in the industry about checking in on mental health, stopping the unnecessary beefs, and supporting each other instead of competing.

Leah Starr on Spooky Treats, Content Houses, & Speaking Up | No Offense Podcast
2026/09/15
Yo, we are back! It's your boy Mr. No Offense, keeping it real on the No Offense Podcast. Today, we have family in the building: the No Offense Network spokesmodel herself, Princess Leah Starr! We sat down to catch up on everything she’s been building and fighting for. Hit that share button and let's get into it!
The Content House & Spooky Treats
Leah is always hustling, even right after recovering from a minor medical procedure.
The Content House: Co-hosted with Maui Mike around November 22nd or 23rd, this is a safe networking space for models, artists, and realtors. It features workshops, portfolio building, and even onsite lip fillers.
Spooky Treats: Leah went to school for extraction and cultivation, creating incredible THC drinks, gummies, and nerd ropes. I tried them myself, and let me tell you, they had me exploring the pyramids right from my couch!
Fighting for the Vulnerable
We didn’t just keep it light; we got into some serious real talk about injustices happening right now.
Leah is the legal guardian for her mother and spoke out aggressively against severe neglect in nursing homes, where residents paying $5,000 a month are left in urine-soaked wheelchairs.
She urged people to do random pop-up visits to keep facilities accountable and to utilize state ombudsman numbers.
We discussed how political donations led to the reversal of policies meant to protect these vulnerable residents
Culture, Tech, & Surviving the System
Cannabis Laws: We touched on strict laws in Texas affecting touring artists like Big X Da Plug, and how fans need to travel smart in Florida.
Surveillance & Data: Leah shared concerns about massive data centers moving into neighborhoods, causing noise pollution and draining water resources while the public ignores local elections.
The Youth: She challenged parents to stop using tablets to babysit, noting that kids are losing basic skills like counting change.
Raja the K9: We also got a great update on her 100-pound, imported German Shepherd, Raja, who is bouncing back from some recent hospital trips.
