Why Your Business Sign Matters More Than You Think
2026/09/09
In this episode, I sit down with Greg and Gayle  Lynch from It's A Good Sign, a full-service sign company right here in Dallas. After 25 years of marriage, they took a leap and started this business two years ago. And guess what? They're thriving. We get into the real stuff. What it's like to build a manufacturing business without any manufacturing background. Why signs are way more complicated than most people think. And the mindset that helped them grow through referrals alone. If you're a business owner, entrepreneur, or just someone curious about what it takes to build something with the person you love, you'll get a lot out of this one. ———————————— Want to work together?  Visit my website at https://rockstar.marketing/apply for more info and fill out an application to work together.  ———————————— Follow me online: 📣 Facebook ➟ https://facebook.com/teeveethemarketer 📸 Instagram ➟ https://instagram.com/teeveethemarketer
She Grew Up Watching Me Hustle. Now She Runs the Operation.
2025/10/14
My daughter just became COO of Rockstar.Marketing. She didn’t just join the team, she leveled it up. Website? She rebuilt it. Ops? She streamlined it. Me? She’s keeping me on-task and on-camera. This isn’t a cute family moment. It’s the smartest hire I’ve ever made. Follow me online: 📣 Facebook ➟ https://facebook.com/teeveethemarketer 📸 Instagram ➟ https://instagram.com/teeveethemarketer
Stop Hiring for Potential If You Won’t Train for Success
2025/08/04
Most people hire too fast and regret it even faster. Brenda Siri is a headhunter who’s watched companies chase résumés, ignore red flags, and then wonder why their “perfect hire” bounced. In this episode, she shares what headhunters really look for, why onboarding is your biggest retention tool, and how to build a team that doesn’t just stick around—but actually thrives. If you’ve ever hired someone you regretted (or lost someone you shouldn’t have), this one’s for you. - - -  Reach out to Brenda Siri on this link ➟ http://www.corporateconnectionsllc.com/  LeadHERship Unveiled: Women Leading With Impact ➟ https://www.amazon.com/LeadHERship-Unveiled-Women-Leading-Impact/dp/1956665757 - - -  Follow me online: 📣 Facebook ➟ https://facebook.com/teeveethemarketer 📸 Instagram ➟ https://instagram.com/teeveethemarketer

From House Kitchen to Award Winning Restaurant!
2025/06/06
While talking to Matt and Trisha Stroud of Strouderosa BBQ in today’s episode, I realized something: some of the best businesses don’t start with a plan, they start with a problem. What started as one smoked turkey turned into a backyard BBQ hustle that wouldn’t quit. They didn’t plan to open a BBQ joint. But they said yes, worked hard, and turned it into one of Dallas’s most-loved spots. This isn’t just about food. It’s about grit, grace, and turning hard times into something real.
People buy from brands they trust, and trust starts with a story.
2025/05/16
Your business has stories that could stop scrolls, spark conversations, and shift how people see you. But most folks never hear them, because you’re too busy doing the work to talk about it. That’s where “social shows” come in.  This episode is all about turning everyday moments into mini media that builds trust, sparks community, and quietly does your marketing for you. From cozy coffee chats to barbershop gems, this is how you make your brand feel human, not hype.
How Love for Community Created Something Magical in Oak Cliff!
2025/05/07
In this conversation with Antonio Lucero, I got a front-row seat to what real community work looks like. Not charity. Not clout. Just someone showing up, again and again, for the place they call home. Antonio isn’t chasing trends. He’s building culture. One restaurant, one mural, one street at a time. If you think local business is just about profit, this episode will check you hard. Because what Antonio is building in Oak Cliff?  That’s not just a brand. That’s legacy. - Antonio Lucero's Business Links  YuYu Website: https://yuyuculturalshop.com/ YuYu Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100058891156588 Coco's Fire & Ice: https://www.instagram.com/cocosbishoparts/?hl=en Ocho Restaurant: https://www.facebook.com/Ocholatincuisine
What Most Nonprofits Get Wrong About Marketing
2025/05/02
Most nonprofits treat marketing like a nice-to-have. That’s the mistake. Doing good in the world doesn’t mean people will magically find you. Visibility isn’t a luxury, it’s the lifeline. In this episode, Teevee breaks down why nonprofit marketing isn’t a separate thing, it’s the same strategy businesses use to get seen, build trust, and move people to act. You’ve already got the mission. Now let’s make sure it gets the spotlight it deserves. ----- How To Create A Custom Audience In Facebook Ad Manager 👉 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gqf_osXR51k
How to Win in Business By Being Obnoxious (Sometimes)
2025/04/25
Most people think being everywhere is annoying. They're right. And that’s exactly why it works. Repetition is the dirty little secret of marketing. If your content doesn’t show up again and again (and again), your prospects won’t either.  So yeah, be a little obnoxious.  Be the Texas Hammer of your niche. Because if they don’t see you, they won’t trust you. And if they don’t trust you, they won’t buy.
Why Traditional Advertising Still Works in a Digital World
2025/04/16
Hey friends! Want to hear something funny? I used to HATE billboards, but then I met Staci Schofield from Lamar Advertising, and she totally changed my mind about those giant signs we see while driving. In this super fun chat, Staci shares some really cool secrets about billboards that might surprise you. Like how they're basically giant pop-ups from before the internet was even invented, and they're actually way cheaper to use than most people think! But the best part about Staci isn't just her billboard knowledge - she's also East Dallas's biggest fan. When she's not helping businesses get noticed with billboards, she's running around the neighborhood making friends and helping local shops grow. Just don't blame us if you start paying more attention to billboards after watching this - your neck might get a workout from all that looking up! --- Want to explore billboard advertising for your business? How Important Are Google Reviews for Small Businesses?
2025/03/07
Google reviews are a total game changer for any business, and they matter more than you might think. Most of us check reviews before trying out a new restaurant or picking a movie, right? Those little stars can really influence our choices! Good reviews build trust and attract clients, while the not-so-great ones can send potential customers running faster than if they spotted a spider in the salad. Plus, I’ll share how to turn those reviews into powerful marketing tools that shine a spotlight on your business. If you’re looking to boost your reputation and bring in more customers, don’t underestimate the power of Google reviews. They can be your secret weapon in standing out from the crowd and becoming the go-to choice in your industry! --- 00:00:00 - The Importance of Google Reviews 00:01:47 - The Cultural Significance of Reviews in Decision Making 00:03:44 - Why Word of Mouth Marketing is Still Essential 00:05:54 - Leveraging Online Reviews for Business Growth 00:07:18 - Protecting Your Brand with Positive Reviews 00:08:24 - Marketing Your Testimonials and Reviews 00:09:58 - Creative Ways to Utilize Reviews for Promotion 00:10:40 - Final Thoughts on the Power of Reviews Want to work together?  Visit my website at https://rockstar.marketing/apply for more info and fill out an application to work together.  - Follow me online:  🔍Website ➟ https://rockstar.marketing 📣 Facebook ➟ https://facebook.com/teeveethemarketer 📸 Instagram ➟ https://instagram.com/teeveethemarketer 🐦 Twitter ➟ https://twitter.com/teeveethemarketer 🎤 Tiktok ➟ https://www.tiktok.com/@teeveethemarketer
16 Years of Learning, Loving, and Living: My Business Journey!
2025/02/28
What started as a desperate attempt to be more involved in my daughters' lives after divorce became the path that led me to my best self. My business gives me the freedom to serve our community AND be at every single one of my kids' school events. Every. Single. One. Early years were rough - hilariously clueless about business, but too stubborn to quit. But guess what? Being obnoxious and stubborn actually paid off. 16 years later... I'm still here. And growing. I'm fired up to help the next group of clients who are ready to take their business to that mythical "next level." Jump on board! PS And my daughters? We have the most incredible relationship - the kind that makes me emotional and filled with joy at the same time. Being an entrepreneur is not easy - but it's been my biggest win yet. Check out today's video for a more in-depth story of journey into my overnight success.
