Description

This is the official pod for all cricket tragics. From the trauma of the 90s to the heights of the Noughties, if you are a cricket fan, this is the pod for you. Also, if you love the niche and the obscure discussions around cricket (color of TV graphics in the 90s, broadcast theme music), this is also the pod for you. This is as much the pod for a Noel David fan as it is for an ABD fan!

2026/04/19
29 games in. We review the teams based on their current position on the points table. Joining Richa and MV are Aravint and Karan We deep-dive into the conspiracy theories surrounding Mumbai Indians, briefly wonder if the Indian Premier League is basically the male version of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, and spend more time dissecting Kolkata Knight Riders than they probably have themselves, before getting stuck in mid-table traffic. We also take a few (okay, many) digs at Lucknow Super Giants, debate Rajasthan Royals’ inevitable late-season fade despite one panelist backing them to win it all, break down Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s newfound efficiency, and make the case for Punjab Kings as the team to beat this year.

Project Milaap with Sharda Ugra, Mohammad Isam & Ahmer Naqvi
2026/02/10
In what can only be classified as a coup (and as South Asians, we don’t use this term lightly), we have Sharda Ugra, Ahmer Naqvi, and Mohammad Isam to talk through the recent crisis in international cricket. We often explore these themes through Shah Rukh's movie metaphors, starting with K3G and ending with Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman. The episode serves as a reminder that we need to keep lines of communication open between the public, and it’s even more important to do this with the current media landscape. We briefly touch upon the associates at this World Cup and who we are most looking forward to watching. Our guests are joined by hosts Richa, Nishant, Sarthak, and MV.
