Work, Ambition, and the Glory of God
2026/09/15
God created work as a good gift, but sin can turn work into an idol. Some men avoid responsibility, while others make their careers, success, and productivity the measure of their worth. In this episode, Dave Jenkins calls men to commit their work to the Lord, labor with diligence and integrity, guard against workaholism, and refuse to let ambition replace devotion to Christ. Because believers belong to Christ, they can work faithfully without making achievement their identity. Godly Wisdom Begins with the Fear of the Lord
2026/09/01
What is godly wisdom? In this opening episode of the Men of Wisdom series, Dave Jenkins explains that wisdom begins with the fear of the Lord, not self-confidence or worldly success. Courage That Endures: Running the Christian Race to the End
2026/08/25
Many men begin with passion, but the Christian life is not merely about beginning well. It is about enduring faithfully to the end. In this concluding episode of the Warriors of Grace courage series, Dave Jenkins examines Hebrews 12:1–3 and explains how Christian men are called to lay aside every weight, resist spiritual complacency, fix their eyes on Jesus, and run with endurance. Biblical courage is Spirit-enabled perseverance that continues trusting Christ and obeying Him through every season and stage of life. Jesus is not merely our example of endurance. He is our Savior, supplying weary men with the grace and strength necessary to persevere and finish faithfully. Courage to Mend Broken Relationships
2026/08/18
Many men need courage to mend broken relationships because their natural response to conflict is often avoidance, silence, distance, or self-protection. The Word of God calls Christian men to a better and more courageous path. In this episode of Warriors of Grace, Dave Jenkins explains why biblical courage moves toward repentance, reconciliation, forgiveness, and restoration. Genuine repentance requires men to confess their sin specifically, humbly, and honestly. Biblical confrontation requires speaking directly and lovingly rather than gossiping, gathering allies, or allowing resentment to grow. Dave also explains the difference between forgiveness and reconciliation. Christians are responsible to pursue peace faithfully, but they cannot control how another person responds. Romans 12:18 reminds believers, "If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all." Through James 5:16, Matthew 18:15, and Romans 12:18, this episode offers practical guidance for examining your heart, preparing for difficult conversations, listening patiently, forgiving freely, and seeking restoration rather than personal victory. Christian men need the courage to mend broken relationships by pursuing repentance, forgiveness, peace, and restoration for the glory of God. Standing Firm in Spiritual Warfare
2026/08/11
Every Christian man is engaged in a real spiritual battle. Scripture neither encourages an unhealthy obsession with demons nor permits believers to ignore spiritual opposition. Instead, the Lord commands His people to be strong in Him and to stand firm with the armor He provides. In this episode of Warriors of Grace, Dave Jenkins explains Ephesians 6:10–18 and shows how Christian men can face sin, temptation, fear, discouragement, pride, anger, passivity, and spiritual opposition with biblical courage. Victory does not come through human ingenuity, willpower, or self-confidence. Christian men fight from the finished victory of Jesus Christ. Through truth, righteousness, the gospel, faith, salvation, Scripture, prayer, and fellowship in the local church, God supplies everything His people need to remain faithful. Stand firm in Christ, remain vigilant, and fight with the armor God provides. For more from Warriors of Grace, please visit: https://servantsofgrace.org/warriors-of-grace-podcast/
Biblical Courage and Emotional Honesty for Christian Men
2026/08/04
Many men believe strength means never struggling, grieving, or admitting weakness. Scripture presents a better way. Godly men are neither emotionally controlled nor emotionally disconnected. They bring their hearts honestly before God and submit their feelings to the truth of His Word. In this episode of Warriors of Grace, Dave Jenkins examines Psalms 42 and 62 to explain why biblical courage includes emotional honesty. The Psalms teach Christian men to acknowledge sorrow, practice faithful lament, preach truth to their souls, and rest their hope in the character of God. Feelings are real, but they are not ultimate. Strong men are not men who never struggle. They are men who bring their struggles to God and continue trusting Him.
The Courage to Be Different: Salt and Light in a Dark World
2026/07/28
Christian men are not called to blend in with the darkness. They are called to shine faithfully for the glory of God. In this episode of Warriors of Grace, Dave Jenkins teaches from Matthew 5:13–16 on the courage to be different. Jesus calls His people salt and light, which means Christian men are to live with humble conviction, faithful obedience, purity, truthfulness, and courage in a world that increasingly rejects biblical truth. This episode considers why biblical manhood will often stand out, why fear of man weakens courage, and how ordinary faithfulness becomes a clear witness in a dark culture. Christian man, you do not need worldly approval to be useful to God. You need faithfulness to Christ. 2026/07/07
In this episode of Warriors of Grace, Dave Jenkins begins a new series on biblical courage. Many men struggle with fear—fear of failure, rejection, criticism, inadequacy, and disappointing others. Yet Scripture teaches that biblical courage is not the absence of fear but trusting God enough to obey Him in the presence of fear. Drawing from Joshua 1:9, Psalm 56:3, and other key passages, Dave explains why biblical courage is rooted in God's presence, promises, and faithfulness rather than personality or self-confidence.
