Fall in Love with Fall Fishing
2026/10/06
It’s been a while since the last episode so Duane and Jimmy have quite a bit to say this time around. Drum, tarpon, trout all take center stage with many others making appearances throughout. Enjoy.
An August to Remember
2026/08/29
Fishing has remained decent despite the brutally hot temperatures. Duane caught his first tarpon and Jimmy has yet to figure out any more tarpon spots. Big and small redfish are around as well.
Keys Recap
2026/08/24
In this episode Duane talks with Jimmy about his recent fishing trip to the Keys.
Is Nighttime the Best Time?
2026/07/25
Duane and Jimmy spend a good bit of time talking about dock light fishing in this episode. Not surprising with how hot it has been during the day lately. If you’d rather deal with the heat than become a night owl then there’s still some fish around including some really nice croakers.
The Weird Year Continues
2026/06/27
After a slow start to just about everything this year, the shrimp run is no different. It’s not easy netting shrimp for bait right now. Tarpon still haven’t really showed. Jimmy’s leaving over it and hoping they show up while he’s gone. Duane’s heading to the creeks looking for consistency in freshwater.
The Good and the Bad
2026/05/29
Duane and Jimmy get on another rant as the year continues to unfold in its own way. High salinity, murky water, and a very slow start to tarpon season has them both stumping on many different subjects but the river takes center stage.
Go Fishing
2026/04/26
Duane and Jimmy catch up after another month and things are heating up. Reds, trout, flounder, and sheepshead are showing up strong. Conditions are good so go fishing.
Saltwater fish on the horizon and how about a deep dive into regulations
2026/03/25
Duane and Jimmy talk about our seasonal transition away from the freshwater scene. Redfish are showing up. The new trout regulations start next month which prompts our hosts to really take a closer look at regulations as a whole.
Hot fishing is right around the bend
2026/02/16
Duane and Jimmy give their usual discussion about the river fishing over the last month or so. Bass, specks, stripers, and even catfish are on tap this episode. Also, Duane or should we say Rob, makes it to the big leagues.
A Fishy New Year
2026/01/10
Happy New Year! Duane and Jimmy are back at it talking about freshwater fishing in the river, creeks, and lakes of Northeast Florida.
Let’s talk about surf fishing
2025/12/08
Duane and Jimmy stay away from their usual river fishing discussion and devote an entire episode towards surf fishing.
Well, it’s over.
2025/11/13
Duane and Jimmy discuss the end… of tarpon season and what their plans are for the winter fishing season in the river.
It’s been a while
2025/09/17
Duane and Jimmy get together after a long break to go over the last month and a half, redfish, tarpon, drum and so on. There’s still lots of activity out there.
Summer is over, kind of.
2025/08/10
For teachers and students that is. Duane and Jimmy discuss summer break coming to an end and the fishing on the horizon. A hot tarpon bite closed out July. Will August be just as good?
June recap
2025/07/12
With an extended amount of time between now and the last podcast Duane and Jimmy have a lot to catch up on from Duane’s first guiding trips to Jimmy’s first Keys trip in the new boat.
