He also speculates about what we might see in Iran, and much more.

They also bring it forward trying to emphasize the lessons we did not learn from Vietnam and how we can try to make sure we finally do learn. They finish up with a wonderful song by Country Joe about the legacy of Agent Orange.

In this Veterans for Peace Convention Round Table hosted by the China Working Group and Mike Wong, we hear from four speakers representing the people resisting the US in Japan, South Korea, the Philippines, and China. This is so important because these people and these resistance efforts are an example and formula for people around the world to finally say to the US get out. Dr. Safanah, cardiologist and activist is back from her humanitarian trip to Gaza to help patients. She joins us to tell her story about what she did and what she saw. However, she also describes the resilience of the people of Gaza as they rebuild the buildings, the infrastructure, the community and importantly their lives. They are the essence of resilience.

What happens when a drone mom has a discussion with her peace loving daughter? Listen to this play by Jack Gilroy of Award winning VFP Chapter 90 in Upstate New York. Jack has developed a 43 minute play that tracks a war widowed Mom from Creech to an Air Force base in NY as a drone pilot, suffering from PTSD, Moral Injury, and a daughter, a student at Fordham University, that she can no longer understand. This play is heart wrenching as it explores the concepts of patriotism, truth telling, peace making, and Mom/Daughter love and respect. Please listen and share and find out how you can host the play locally. And if that is not enough Jack is also trying to get the POPE to convene a peace conference before it is too late. We get the update.

Mike Dedrick of the Daniel Ellsberg Chapter of Veterans for Peace hosts Mark Ginsberg, professor and authority on Cuba. They discuss the dire situation today, and how we got there, and the possible next mistakes this administration (and others) can and will make. However, first we highlight the 1000 mile march happening right now through the south to highlight this government's oppression and to register voters. We speak to two of the marchers.
