Change is a part of life, but some seasons require more than simply trying harder. Sometimes, God is inviting us into a deeper work—one that transforms us from the inside out. Ask for the Second Wind As we enter the second half of the year, it’s easy to become tired and weary—especially when you’ve been working behind the scenes and haven’t yet seen the finished product presented to others. But what if this season isn’t about stopping? What if you’re in a season of incubation? Incubation may require some isolation. It may mean doing work that nobody else can see yet. But isolation doesn’t have to become idleness. In this episode, we talk about recognizing the difference between being in a season of incubation and simply withdrawing, and what it looks like to keep moving even when you’re tired of waiting for what you’ve been working toward. If you’ve been feeling weary, discouraged, or tempted to wind down because you haven’t seen the results yet, this is your reminder: ask for the second wind.
