Checkmate declares war on the Kandoraians and Zod burns them down. Faora dies and takes with her the last hope of Clark and Zod living peacefully together on earth. John Corben is a new reporter with a grudge against the Blur. Lois reappears in the city with no recollection of where she was during her missing time.
