The Kings People | Seeds and Soils | Luke 8:4–15 | with Pastor Clayton Tyner
2026/10/05
Are you listening to Jesus—or do you just hear Him? In Luke 8, Jesus tells the Parable of the Sower and reveals four different ways people respond to the Word of God. The question isn't simply whether you've heard the message. It's whether you're willing to receive it, let it take root, make room for it, and endure when life gets difficult. Hear. Hold on. Endure. What kind of soil is your heart? 📖 Luke 8:4–15 🎙️ The King's People #TheKingsPeople #Luke8 #Jesus #ParableOfTheSower #ChristianSermon Support the show
The Kings People | Battle of the Sexes | Luke 8:1-3 | with Pastor Clayton Tyner
2026/09/27
Does the Bible uplift women or keep them down? In Luke 8:1–3, Luke casually mentions something that was radical in the ancient world: women were traveling with Jesus, learning from Him, participating in His ministry, and supporting the movement. What does Jesus reveal about the value, identity, and dignity of women? Discover how the Gospel points us toward a biblical vision of men and women as equal, distinct, and sacred.  Luke 8:1–3  The King’s People #TheKingsPeople #Luke8 #Jesus #WomenInTheBible #Christianity Support the show
The Kings People | Who Can Jesus Forgive? | Luke 7:36-50 | with Pastor Clayton Tyner
2026/09/21
How much do you really love Jesus? In Luke 7:36–50, a woman known for her sin encounters Jesus and responds with overwhelming love and worship. Meanwhile, Simon the Pharisee looks at her past and judges her. But Jesus sees something different. The story reminds us that we all have a debt we cannot pay—and that forgiveness isn't earned by our good works. Our faith in Jesus is what saves us. When we truly understand how much we've been forgiven, it changes how we love, worship, and see others. You may be more like her than you think. 📖 Luke 7:36–50 🎙️ The King's People #TheKingsPeople #Luke7 #Jesus #Forgiveness #Grace #ChristianSermon Support the show
The Kings People | Why Don't I Hear from God? | Luke 7:29-35 with Pastor Clayton Tyner
2026/09/13
Why don't I hear from God? It's one of the most common questions Christians ask. We want clarity. We want to know what God is saying. We want to feel His presence and know we're being led in the right direction. But what if the problem isn't that God isn't speaking? What if we've already received revelation from God—and we haven't responded? In Luke 7:29–35, Jesus contrasts two groups of people. The tax collectors and ordinary people received John's message and acknowledged that God's way was right. The religious leaders rejected John—and then rejected Jesus. The difference wasn't intelligence. It wasn't social status. It wasn't that one group had all the answers. It was their response to what God had already revealed. Revelation received produces recognition. Revelation rejected produces resistance. Every time God reveals something to us, we have a choice: receive it and respond, or reject it and move on. And Scripture warns that continually rejecting God's revelation can gradually harden our hearts and impair our ability to hear and respond to Him. So maybe the better question isn't: “God, what are You saying next?” Maybe it's: “God, what have You already said that I haven't responded to?” What conviction have you been putting off? What has God been asking you to surrender? Is there someone you need to forgive? Something you need to confess? A relationship you need to reconcile? A habit you need to surrender? A step of obedience you've been avoiding? Or perhaps you've never taken the first step of trusting Jesus. You may not need more revelation about something God has already made clear. You may need to respond. And the good news is that it is never too late. God can pierce through our blindness and soften our hearts today. Watch this message from Luke 7:29–35 and ask yourself: “Father, where have I resisted You?” And when He brings something to mind: “God, You are right. My answer is yes.” 📖 Luke 7:29–35 🎙️ The King's People #TheKingsPeople #WhyDontIHearFromGod #Luke7 #HearingGod #Jesus #ChristianSermon #KingdomOfGod Support the show
The Kings People | What Did You Go Out to See? | Luke 24-28 with Pastor Tony Albano
2026/09/06
Herod was in a palace. John was in a prison. So which one was winning? In Luke 7:24–28, Jesus asks the crowd, “What did you go out into the wilderness to see?” And then He gives us a radically different picture of what greatness looks like. John didn't get the palace. He didn't get comfort, freedom, wealth, or even the long life he might have expected. But Jesus didn't look at John's life and call it wasted. He called it great. Because Jesus was using a different scoreboard. This message asks a deeper question: What makes a life great? Is it comfort? Success? Freedom? Wealth? Getting everything we want? Or is greatness measured by what—and Who—we give our lives to? We're all spending our lives. We don't get to keep them. We only get to decide what we're going to spend them on. And Christianity doesn't begin with what we give Jesus. It begins with what Jesus has already given us. Before Jesus ever asks you to lay something down, He laid down His life for you. Grace comes first. Surrender is our response. So what does that look like? Sometimes it looks less dramatic than John's life: putting your phone down and getting on the floor with your kids, fighting for a healthy marriage, serving when nobody notices, living generously, forgiving someone who doesn't deserve it, or obeying Jesus when it costs you something. Because this is what The King's People do. We give our lives to what our King says matters. And if your life doesn't look the way you thought it would, don't confuse the circumstances of your life with Jesus' verdict over your life. John's cell wasn't Jesus' verdict on John. The palace shows us the kind of greatness we're tempted to chase. The prison shows us the kind of greatness we might completely miss. But the cross shows us the One who is actually worthy of our lives. We're all spending our lives. The question is what we're spending them on. A great life isn't measured by what you get from it. It's measured by what you give it to. And in Jesus, we've found Someone worthy of it. 📖 Scripture: Luke 7:24–28 🎙️ Series: The King's People If this message encouraged you, subscribe for more messages from MetaChurch and share this sermon with someone who needs to hear it. #TheKingsPeople #Luke7 #ChristianSermon #Jesus #KingdomOfGod #MetaChurch Support the show
The Kings People: The Prison of Doubt with Pastor Clayton Tyner
2026/08/30
What do you do when Jesus doesn't do what you expected Him to do? In Luke 7, even John the Baptist reaches a moment of uncertainty. The man who once boldly proclaimed Jesus now finds himself asking a difficult question: “Are you the one who is to come, or should we expect someone else?” John had seen Jesus. He had baptized Jesus. He had proclaimed His coming. And yet now, sitting in prison, John is struggling to reconcile what he believed Jesus would do with what Jesus was actually doing. This passage gives us permission to bring our questions, disappointment, confusion, and doubt to Jesus. Because sometimes faith isn't about having no questions. Sometimes faith is about bringing your questions to the right person. This is part of our journey through The King's People in Luke's Gospel — discovering what it means to recognize Jesus, trust Jesus, and follow Jesus even when His Kingdom doesn't look like what we expected. 🙏 If you've ever struggled with doubt, disappointment, or unanswered questions, this message is for you. 👍 Like this message 💬 Comment below: What question would you ask Jesus? 📤 Share this message with someone who needs encouragement. 🔔 Subscribe to MetaChurch for more messages from Luke and The King's People. #MetaChurch #TheKingsPeople #Luke7 #Jesus #Faith #Doubt #ChristianSermon #BibleTeaching #Christianity Support the show
The Kings People: At the Gate: Luke 7:11-17 with Pastor Clayton Tyner
2026/08/23
What happens when Jesus meets you at the gate? In Luke 7, Jesus encounters a grieving widow in the tiny town of Nain. Her only son has died, and she is walking out of the city with his funeral procession. At the same moment, Jesus and a large crowd are entering the city. Two crowds collide at the gate. One is celebrating.  One is mourning.  One is walking toward life.  One is walking toward death. And then Jesus sees her. Jesus doesn't wait for her to ask. He moves toward her in compassion, touches the coffin, and speaks life into a situation that appears completely hopeless.  But this story is about more than one widow in Nain. We all come to gates in our lives — moments that change everything. A diagnosis. Divorce. Addiction. Financial crisis. A prodigal child. Loss. Grief. Failure. Fear. And Luke wants us to know: JESUS MEETS US AT THE GATE. The question is: Will we recognize Him? Will we surrender to Him?  And ultimately, Jesus would walk through the final gate Himself — death — so that death would no longer have the final word for those who belong to Him.  🙏 If you're facing a difficult gate right now, don't give up. Jesus sees you. 👍 Like this message  💬 Comment below: What gate are you trusting Jesus to meet you at? 📤 Share this message with someone who needs hope today. 🔔 Subscribe to MetaChurch for more messages. #MetaChurch #TheKingsPeople #Luke7 #Jesus #ChristianSermon #Faith #Hope #JesusMeetsUs #BibleTeaching #Christianity Support the show
Fulfilled: The Kings People: Luke 7:1-10 with Pastor Clayton Tyner
2026/08/16
What does it actually mean to be one of The King’s People? In Luke 7, Jesus encounters a Roman centurion whose faith amazes Him. This man understands something that many of the religious people around Jesus had missed: true authority is derived, not demanded. The centurion knew that his own authority came from being under a greater authority—and he recognized that Jesus carried an authority that came from Heaven itself.  The question for us is simple: Who gets the final say in your life? Jesus doesn't just want authority over one part of our lives. He calls us to surrender everything to Him. 🙌 If this message challenged or encouraged you: 👍 Like this video  💬 Tell us in the comments: Who has the final say in your life? 📤 Share this message with someone who needs to hear it. 🔔 Subscribe for more messages from MetaChurch. #MetaChurch #TheKingsPeople #Luke7 #Jesus #Faith #Authority #ChristianSermon #BibleTeaching Support the show

Stones and Dirt with Pastor Sherri Richard
2026/07/26
What if the greatest danger isn't the sin we can see—but the stones we're willing to throw? In one of the most powerful encounters in the Gospels, religious leaders drag a woman caught in adultery before Jesus, demanding justice. But instead of joining the crowd, Jesus kneels in the dirt. Why? In this message, Sherri Richard explores John 8:1–11 and challenges us to examine our own hearts before condemning others. We discover that Jesus never ignores sin, but He also refuses to weaponize shame. He offers grace that transforms rather than condemnation that destroys. This message will challenge how you read Scripture, how you view people, and what it truly means to look like Jesus. 📖 John 8:1–11 👍 If this message encouraged you, leave a Like! 💬 We'd love to hear from you:  What "stone" has God asked you to lay down? 🔔 Subscribe for weekly biblical teaching from MetaChurch. 🌐 Learn more:  https://www.metachurch.tv 📍 Join us this Sunday! The Kingdom Way | Luke 6:46–49 with Pastor Clayton Tyner
2026/07/19
After ten weeks in Jesus' most famous sermon, everything comes down to one question: "Why do you call me 'Lord, Lord,' and don't do what I say?" (Luke 6:46) Jesus closes the Sermon on the Plain with a powerful illustration of two builders. Both experience the same storms. Both face the same pressure. But only one house stands. The difference wasn't the storm—it was the foundation. In this concluding message of The Kingdom Way, Pastor Clayton explains why following Jesus is more than hearing good sermons or agreeing with biblical truth. A life that withstands life's floods is built through daily surrender and obedience to Christ. 📖 Luke 6:46–49 👍 If this message encouraged you, like the video. 💬 Comment below: What foundation are you building your life on? 🔔 Subscribe for weekly biblical teaching from MetaChurch. 🌐 Learn more: https://www.metachurch.tv 📍 Join us this Sunday: Potranco 8:30 AM • 10:30 AM • 12:30 PM Helotes 11:00 AM #Luke6 #KingdomWay #BuildOnTheRock #JesusTeaching #ChristianFaith #MetaChurch Support the show
The Kingdom Way | Luke 6:43-45 | Pastor Clayton Tyner
2026/07/12
Why do we keep trying to change our behavior without changing our hearts? In Luke 6:43–45, Jesus teaches that every tree is known by its fruit. The problem isn't the fruit we produce—it's the root from which it grows. In this message from The Kingdom Way, Pastor Clayton explores Jesus' powerful illustration of trees, fruit, and the human heart. Our words, actions, and habits don't create who we are—they reveal who we are. Real transformation doesn't happen by trying harder; it happens when Jesus changes us from the inside out. The Kingdom of God isn't about behavior modification. It's about heart transformation. 📖 Luke 6:43–45 👍 If this message encouraged you, leave a Like! 💬 We'd love to hear from you: How has Jesus changed your heart? 🔔 Subscribe for weekly biblical teaching from MetaChurch. 🌐 Learn more: https://www.metachurch.tv 📍 Join us this Sunday! The Kingdom Way: LUKE 6:41-42 with Pastor Clayton Tyner
2026/07/05
Why is it so easy to see someone else's flaws—but almost impossible to recognize our own? In Luke 6:41–42, Jesus gives one of His most memorable illustrations: a person trying to remove a speck from someone else's eye while ignoring the log in their own. His words aren't simply about hypocrisy—they're an invitation to humility, repentance, and spiritual transformation. In this message from The Kingdom Way, Pastor Clayton explores how self-righteousness blinds us, why Jesus always begins with our own hearts, and how genuine transformation enables us to lovingly help others. The Kingdom of God doesn't begin by changing everyone around us—it begins by changing us. 📖 Luke 6:41–42 👍 If this message encouraged you, be sure to Like the video. 💬 Comment below:  What's one way God has humbled you and helped you grow? 🔔 Subscribe for weekly biblical teaching from MetaChurch. 🌐 Learn more:  https://www.metachurch.tv 📍 Join us this Sunday! The Kingdom Way | Luke 6:39–40 with Pastor Clayton Tyner
2026/06/28
Who is shaping your life? In Luke 6:39–40, Jesus tells two short parables that reveal one powerful truth: every one of us is becoming like someone. The question isn't whether you're being formed—it's who is forming you. In this message from The Kingdom Way, Pastor Clayton explores Jesus' warning about spiritual blindness, the danger of following the wrong voices, and what it truly means to become a disciple of Christ. If we're not careful, we'll spend our lives following blind guides instead of the One who gives sight. Jesus doesn't simply want better behavior—He wants transformed people who reflect His character. 📖 Luke 6:39–40 👍 If this message encouraged you, leave a Like! 💬 We'd love to hear from you!
