The Feels Trip | Week 3 | Anger
2026/09/28
Anger is a real emotion, but it doesn’t have to be in control. In this talk, we explore how anger can be a signal that something matters, while also recognizing that unchecked anger can damage the people and relationships around us. Through the stories of Jesus and Cain, we’re challenged to look beneath our anger, understand what’s really happening in our hearts, and choose a different response. Whether we need to forgive ourselves, forgive others, or bring our anger honestly to God, freedom begins when we stop letting anger drive.
The Feels Trip | Week 2 | Guilt
2026/09/21
In this message, we explore the powerful emotion of guilt and how unresolved guilt can shape our relationships, parenting, work, and view of God. Rather than seeing guilt and shame as tools God uses to punish us, we discover throughout Scripture a God who pursues us, removes our shame, and invites us into freedom. Through confession, community, and making restitution with those we’ve hurt, we can bring what we’ve been hiding into the light and experience healing. Guilt may remind you of where you’ve been, but it does not have to define who you are.
The Feels Trip | Week 1 | Fear
2026/09/14
Fear is a powerful emotion that can take the driver’s seat and lead us places we never intended to go. In this message, we explore the fears of loss, control, separation, and not being enough, and discover how God’s love speaks directly to each one. God’s love doesn’t eliminate fear, but it dethrones it, reminding us that we matter, we’re never alone, we can trust God, and even death has been defeated. Let fear alert you, but don’t let fear lead you.
The Illusion of Control
2026/09/08
What do we do when life doesn’t follow the formula we thought it would? In Ecclesiastes, we discover the idea of hevel – life is fleeting, unpredictable, and ultimately beyond our control. But that doesn’t mean life is meaningless. Instead, we’re invited to release what we can’t control, trust God with tomorrow, and receive the ordinary moments of today as gifts. Life isn’t something we have to control... it’s something we’re invited to receive.
Truth-ish | Week 5 | Love the sinner hate the sin
2026/08/31
What if “love the sinner, hate the sin” isn’t actually the way of Jesus? In the final message of our Truth-ish series, we examine this familiar Christian cliché and discover a more challenging invitation: love all people and deal with your own sin. Jesus calls us to lead with grace, mercy, presence, and a rugged commitment to others while honestly confronting the brokenness in our own lives. Instead of judging from a distance, what would it look like to love messy people the way Jesus loves us?
Truth-ish | Week 4 | Heaven needed another angel
2026/08/24
What if the phrase “Heaven needed another angel” isn’t actually true? In this week’s Truth-ish, we take a closer look at what Scripture really says about angels, death, grief, and our future hope. The Christian hope isn’t that we escape this world or become angels — it’s that God will raise us to restored life, renew creation, and ultimately defeat death. And because of that hope, we can grieve honestly while trusting that the worst things are never the last things.
Truth-ish | Week 3 | God helps those who help themselves
2026/08/17
In week three of Truth-ish, we take a closer look at the familiar phrase, “God helps those who help themselves.” While hard work and responsibility matter, this cliché can distort the heart of the gospel by making us think God’s help is something we earn. The truth is that God helps those who can’t help themselves — and then invites us to become people through whom he helps others. Following Jesus means receiving grace, practicing love, speaking up for those without a voice, judging fairly, and defending the rights of the poor and vulnerable.
Truth-ish | Week 2 | Everything happens for a reason
2026/08/10
What if “everything happens for a reason” isn’t actually the biblical truth we think it is? In this message from the Truth-ish series, we explore the difference between believing that God causes everything that happens and trusting that God can use everything that happens for good. Through Romans 8, we’re reminded that suffering, grief, and brokenness don’t get the final word — God is at work bringing redemption, hope, and restoration. And when others are hurting, sometimes the most Christlike thing we can do isn’t offer an explanation, but simply offer our presence.
Truth-ish | Week 1 | God won't give you more than you can handle
2026/08/03
Sometimes the most comforting Christian phrases aren't actually what the Bible says. In this message, we unpack the popular saying, "God won't give you more than you can handle," and discover a far better promise found in Scripture: life will bring more than we can handle, but we never have to carry it alone. Learn how God meets us in our weakness, calls us to depend on Him and one another, and gives us the strength to walk through whatever comes our way.
What is God Like? | Week 9 | Heavenly Father
2026/07/27
This week’s message explores one of the most personal images of God in Scripture: our Heavenly Father. Looking at the life of Jesus, we discover that God is not distant, disappointed, or waiting for us to earn His love. We have a Father who stays when we fail, forgives before we deserve it, and runs toward us with grace. No matter your past or the picture of God you’ve carried, Jesus invites you to experience the heart of a Father who loves you as you are and calls you to extend that same grace to others.
What is God Like? | Week 8 | Master Builder
2026/07/20
This week in our "What Is God Like?" series we explore God as the Master Builder – the wise Creator who designed the universe with purpose and is still building His people today. From creation to the cross, Scripture reveals God's desire to dwell with humanity and invite us to build our lives on the unshakable foundation of Jesus. Discover how God is creating something lasting through ordinary people and why the greatest thing you'll ever build isn't a career or reputation, it's a life and community rooted in Christ.
What is God Like? | Week 7 | Humble King
2026/07/13
What kind of King is God? Throughout Scripture, Jesus reveals a kingdom unlike any other — one built not on power, control, or domination, but on humility, sacrifice, and love. In this message, we explore what it means to follow the Humble King, surrender the "chair" of control, and discover that true freedom isn't found in ruling our own lives, but in trusting the One who gave His life for us. If you've ever struggled to let go of worry, pride, or the need to control the outcome, this message is an invitation to step off the throne and place your life in the hands of King Jesus.
What is God Like? | Week 6 | Faithful Farmer
2026/07/06
What if the picture of God you've carried isn't who He really is? This message explores the beautiful biblical image of God as a faithful Farmer – one who doesn't abandon what He plants, but patiently cultivates, nurtures, and restores it. Discover how God's unwavering commitment to His people challenges us to reject false images of Him, embrace His grace, and faithfully care for the people He has planted in our own lives.
What is God Like? | Week 5 | A Shepherd
2026/06/29
In a world full of competing voices (fear, success, comparison, shame, and comfort) Jesus invites us to follow the voice of the Good Shepherd. This message explores what it means to truly know God's voice, trust His leadership, and experience the abundant life He offers. As we learn to listen to the One who knows us completely and loves us unconditionally, we're also called to reflect His heart by shepherding and encouraging those around us.
What is God Like? | Week 4 | Rock of Refuge
2026/06/22
When life feels overwhelming, where do you run for refuge? In this message, we explore the biblical picture of God as our Rock of Refuge — a steady, unshakable source of strength in a world full of pressure, exhaustion, and uncertainty. True rest isn't found in control, productivity, or distractions, but in a relationship with Christ. Join us as we learn how God meets weary souls with His presence and how we can become a refuge for others along the way.
