A Dischord supergroup of sorts, featuring Dug E Bird (Beefeater/Fidelity Jones), Jerry Busher (Fidelity Jones/Fugazi), Jon K (Rain/Special K) and Chris Thomson (Ignition/Circus Lupus), these guys only lasted just over a year, but made an indelible mark on the DC scene. I'm always excited when a Lungfish release comes up on the ledger! Perhaps too excited...? Anyhow, this show I'm joined by Adz Clayton (Holiday) in the cohort chair and we go all the way down the wormhole on this album, and the band in general. Throw the year's top fives in the mix in the intro and you end ups with a ridiculously (even by EOE standards) long episode. Thus cleaving it in two. I sure hope this one doesn't ruffle too many feathers. It's an honest and mostly appreciative, thoughtful appraisal of a highly regarded album that has aged remarkably well. Ken Smallwood is in the co-pilot seat this time and really brings his "A" game to the endeavor. Listen in as two very old friends talk well into the night about this recording.
