Mama Kait kindly invites our curiosity and bravely shares a bit of the story of her family's experiences in the LGBTQ community.  Kait is the mom to eight children, thriving all over the spectrum of neurodivergence, medically complex, and just downright awesome.  This episode is not one of political agenda, it's just an invitation to open your heart to curiosity and love.  In the episode we discuss resources. Sometimes we draw a line to delineate a boundary - this is what I need/can't do for my personal health.  And sometimes we draw a line saying "Nope. No more. I won't go on. I won't be vulnerable in this area. I'm good here no matter what. I will die on this hill." Nicole tells the story of an old friend who recently talked about that "not crossing this line of vulnerability" experience and how it played out in their life. Keli talks about her struggle with financial stubbornness and her recent decision to cross her imaginary line into more financial responsibility.  The ladies also tell about their most recent "Coven Weekend" and what they were up to.

In this special episode, Keli shares a significant part of her story. During the past couple of years on the podcast, she has mentioned her estranged relationship with her mother, and today she shares how that decision evolved over time. She tells about when she realized that in order to have a healthy relationship with her own daughter, she would need to take a step back from her mother so they could both heal. It is a raw and vulnerable story that most people will relate to in some way, even if life circumstances are vastly different. Nicole provides incredible insight and support for her friend as she truly sees her right where she in her story.  TW: Keli does mention times of domestic, physical, emotional and sexual abuse in her story.
