Professor Thor is joined by Ðoc for a special Dark Feather Gaming Podcast episode diving into our long-running tradition of predicting the next Final Fantasy XIV expansion. Every other year, the Dark Feather crew sits down to throw out theories, wishlist items, wild guesses, and the occasional surprisingly accurate prediction—and this time is no different. In this episode, we break down what we think could be coming in 8.0, including possible new areas, new jobs, potential big bads, the likely tone and theme of the expansion, and a few quality-of-life hopes along the way. As always, some predictions are grounded, some are completely unhinged, and all of them are part of the fun.As is tradition, Thor is once again campaigning for Geomancer as a magic-based tank.Spoiler warning: this episode includes discussion of the current story and post-MSQ content, so listeners who are not caught up on Final Fantasy XIV should proceed carefully. Editorial note: Thor was very sick during this recording and had a few audio fumbles on his side. We did our best to clean things up in editing, but please excuse a few odd audio mishaps along the way. > Discord: https://discord.gg/FaHZakk5m6 > Podcast: https://anchor.fm/DarkFeatherGaming > DFG Facebook: https://facebook.com/DarkFeatherGaming > Thor Facebook: https://facebook.com/ProfessorThor > YouTube: https://youtube.com/channel/UC2e_RfInNUCD4j_pUEJpIEQ?sub_confirmation=1 > Twitch: https://twitch.tv/Professor_Thor
