Text us your feedback on this episode
What actually happens when you stop drinking—and start fully showing up for your life?
In this episode of Self Love & Sweat THE PODCAST, I sit down with Jodi Clark to talk about how a 100-day break from alcohol evolved into a complete lifestyle transformation—impacting health, confidence, emotional resilience, business growth, and relationships.
This conversation goes far beyond sobriety.
We explore what it means to build emotional sobriety: learning how to sit with hard feelings instead of numbing them, rebuilding self-trust through small promises kept, and redefining fun, confidence, and connection without alcohol.
Whether you’re sober, sober curious, reevaluating your relationship with alcohol, or simply looking for more clarity and alignment in your life, this episode offers practical tools and honest perspective.
Inside this episode:
• why the 100-day alcohol-free challenge became a permanent choice
• perceived benefits of alcohol vs the reality
• scripts for navigating parties, social pressure, and drinking culture
• realistic alternatives for winding down without alcohol
• emotional sobriety and learning to process difficult emotions
• building confidence and self-trust through consistency
• measurable improvements in sleep, focus, productivity, and work performance
• entrepreneurship, community building, retreats, and coaching in the sober space
• redefining confidence, fun, and identity without alcohol
We also talk about the impact sobriety can have on leadership, career performance, emotional regulation, and the ability to create a life you no longer feel the need to escape from.
If this episode resonated, share it with someone who may need this conversation right now and leave a review wherever you listen to podcasts.

How to Stay Consistent with Your Workouts AND Your Inner Work (Work OUTs vs Work INs)
2026/05/06
Text us your feedback on this episode
Time for a mid-year check in! In this episode of Self Love & Sweat THE PODCAST we are bringing it back to our New Year's Goals we set in January. I’m sharing how choosing a Word of the Year can create real change...especially when motivation fades and life gets full.
My word for 2026 is ease.
Not laziness. Not doing nothing.
But alignment.
The kind of ease that helps you notice when you’re forcing life, pushing upstream, or living from the old story that your work equals your worth.
This is about matching your actions to who you say you want to be.
Inside this episode, we discuss:
• choosing a Word of the Year instead of rigid resolutions
• defining “ease” as alignment, not laziness
• spotting the “upstream” feeling that signals resistance
• challenging the belief that work equals worth
• checking your integrity in relationships, leadership, and hard days
• using core values as the rules to your game
• workouts vs work-ins as a framework for real growth
• emotional metabolism and what it means to get “sore on the inside”
If you’ve been feeling off, disconnected, or like you’ve “fallen behind,” this is your reminder that you don’t need to start over...you just need to check in.
Send me a DM on Instagram @lifelikelunden and tell me your Word of the Year and how it’s actually showing up in your life.
If this episode resonated, share it with a friend who needs a reset...and don’t forget to leave a review (up to five stars) wherever you’re listening.

Dangerous and Kind with Michael McHenry
2025/10/03
Text us your feedback on this episode
What if the key to bigger impact isn’t more grind...but more presence? Michael, a restaurateur known for bright, welcoming spaces and lines-out-the-door brunch, shares how a guest-first mindset and a hard reset on his personal life transformed everything. He didn’t come up through the back of house; he walked in focused on why people gather. That outsider perspective became his advantage as he built restaurants where safety, care, and connection are the main ingredients...and where the design, the energy, and the food all invite you to feel at home.
We explore leadership that humanizes hospitality, technology that frees up time for real service, and a simple mission that guides every decision: live healthy and long to be a beacon for the people you love. Michael also offers a framework for modern masculinity...“dangerous and kind”...strong enough to protect, soft enough to connect.
