Description

Listen here to the most recent and relevent messages from South Ridge Church. -- In 2016, Jeff and Jenny Geyer dreamed of starting a different kind of church for their community. A church where people can belong before believing. A church where people cannot wait to bring their friends. A church where next steps are clear and simple. A church where people willingly invest their money to make that type of church happen. What began with two adults grew to sixteen adults in a Chick-fil-A. Together and committed, God began to shape and grow their dream into South Ridge, a church in southern Stafford County with the mission to lead people in a growing relationship with Jesus. We want each community beyond the greater Fredericksburg area to experience what we are experiencing: a family of individuals that have found hope in Jesus, and simply want as many people as possible to experience that exact same hope.

Honor Over Status
2026/10/04
In a culture driven by power and wealth, the church is called to reflect something different. In this house, people matter more than status. Paul challenges favoritism, calls for integrity, and defends those often overlooked. Do we treat people based on their value to us—or their value to God?
Don't Drift
2026/09/27
Truth doesn’t disappear overnight—it erodes over time. In this house, we don’t ignore that drift—we train for something better. Paul warns that people will wander from what’s true, and reminds Timothy that spiritual growth isn’t accidental. Are we intentionally growing—or slowly drifting?
Who Leads Matters
2026/09/20
The health of a church rises and falls on its leadership. In this house, leadership isn’t about titles—it’s about character. Paul outlines leaders who don’t just speak well, but live well. In a world obsessed with platform, God is focused on integrity. Are we focused on being seen or being formed?
Pray Like It Matters
2026/09/13
If Jesus is King, prayer isn’t optional—it’s essential. In this house, we don’t just react—we pray. Paul calls the church to pray for everyone, especially leaders, because peaceful lives can point people to a different kind of King. When life gets hard, do we turn to God?
Start With The King
2026/09/06
Bad theology doesn’t just confuse people—it derails lives. In this house, everything starts with Jesus. Paul confronts distractions and reminds Timothy that everything points to Christ, the true King. Are we building our lives on Jesus…or just ideas about Him?
Don't Miss Great
2026/08/30
Not everyone will have the opportunity to be famous, but everyone has the opportunity to be great. Jesus said, “I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you.” How would you summarize what He meant by that?
Don't Miss Family
2026/08/23
Family can be both the most rewarding and most challenging part of life. The challenge is accepting the messy “real” while still aiming for God’s “ideal.” As you consider where you currently are in relationship to family—immediate or extended—what might be a next right step?
Don't Miss Jesus
2026/08/16
People miss or dismiss Jesus sometimes, but when they do it’s usually for an unnecessary reason. Could your greatest regret have been avoided if you had been following Jesus in that season?
Battle Belongs
2026/08/09
Life is full of battles—some visible, some internal, all very real. This week, we’ll explore what it looks like to surrender instead of strive and to trust that God is already working on your behalf. What if victory doesn’t come from fighting harder—but from surrendering first?
How He Loves
2026/08/02
We use the word “love” for a lot of things—but God gives us a very different picture of what love actually is. This week, we’ll explore how God reveals Himself as love and how that changes the way we see Him, ourselves, and others. What if the love you’re looking for is already closer than you think?
Great Are You Lord
2026/07/26
There’s something powerful about realizing God is greater than our expectations. This week, we’ll explore what happens when we begin to see God more clearly, and how that changes the way we trust Him. What if seeing God more clearly is the key to trusting Him more fully?
When Dead Things Come To Life
2026/07/19
In Ezekiel’s vision, we’re reminded that God has the power to bring life to what feels completely dead. This week, we’ll look at how God restores, rebuilds, and breathes life into the places we’ve given up on. What if what looks finished in your life is just the beginning of what God wants to do?
When God Gets Your Attention
2026/07/12
This week, we’ll explore how God speaks through unexpected moments and what it looks like to respond with humility instead of resistance. What if the interruption in your life isn’t a setback—but a divine redirect?
When Things Go Off Script
2026/07/05
This week, we’ll wrestle with the tension between mystery and obedience—and learn to trust God even when we don’t fully understand. What if God’s boundaries are actually protection, not restriction?
Depending
2026/06/28
This week, we’ll uncover how trials, temptations, and tension reveal where your trust actually is—and how learning to depend on God changes everything. What if the thing you’re relying on most is the very thing holding you back?
