You can copy someone’s methods, language, presentation, and even the appearance of their assignment, but you cannot copy the capacity God developed through their process.

There are moments when silence is wisdom, but there are also moments when silence becomes a betrayal of truth. When God has given us knowledge, influence, or a voice that could protect, correct, warn, or defend others, remaining silent simply because speaking is uncomfortable can become an act of disobedience.

Jesus Himself demonstrated that being needed did not mean He responded to every demand. He withdrew. He moved on. He chose where He would go. And Scripture tells us that He did not entrust Himself to everyone.

Masterclass Five The Wait Subtitle: Why Jesus Told the Disciples to Stay Description Even after three years of formation, Jesus still said: "Wait." Why? Because formation is incomplete without dependence on the Holy Spirit. In this masterclass, we examine: The purpose of hidden seasons. Why waiting is not punishment. Spiritual readiness versus opportunity. The hidden work of God in seasons of delay.

Masterclass Four Come and Die Subtitle: Surrender, Loss, and the Formation of Leaders Description The Kingdom invites us to die before it invites us to lead. In this powerful masterclass, we explore how suffering, surrender, and loss become instruments of spiritual formation. Discover why: Self-denial produces maturity. Loss often becomes leadership's greatest teacher. God uses wilderness seasons to shape character. Surrender creates sustainable leaders.

Masterclass Three Come and Follow Subtitle: Authority Under Covering and Failure as Formation Description Kingdom authority is developed under authority. In this masterclass, we examine why Jesus taught the disciples to follow, submit, fail, and be corrected before entrusting them with greater responsibility. Discover: Why submission is preparation. How failure becomes a classroom. The role of correction and accountability. Why humility precedes leadership. This teaching integrates Servant Leadership Theory, Leader-Member Exchange Theory, Psychological Safety Theory, and Experiential Learning Theory.

Masterclass Two Come and See Subtitle: Identity Before Assignment and Learning Through Observation Description Before Jesus taught the disciples how to minister, He taught them who they were. In this masterclass, we explore the importance of identity, belonging, and observational discipleship. You'll discover why: Identity must precede assignment. Observation is an intentional form of formation. We become what we repeatedly watch. Spiritual growth cannot be rushed. This session integrates Social Learning Theory, Adult Development Theory, Social Network Analysis, and Experiential Learning Theory with the biblical model of discipleship.

God's goal is not exposure but restoration. In this final episode, Dr. Jasmine Baker explores how God forms people before He entrusts them with influence. Through biblical examples and practical application, she outlines the path of revelation, repentance, realignment, and refinement. Listeners will learn how to protect their spiritual health and pursue lasting transformation. The ultimate goal is not simply flowing oil, but pure oil.

**Welcome to The Formation Room.** I'm Dr. Jasmine Baker, and I want to personally thank you for becoming one of the founding members of this community. Your subscription is more than access to additional podcast episodes. You're joining a learning environment designed for people who are serious about spiritual growth, biblical understanding, leadership, and personal transformation. For the past six years, I've shared free teaching through the Positive Thinking Podcast. But I realized there were conversations I couldn't fully develop in a short public episode. Some lessons require more time. More depth. More reflection. That's why I created The Formation Room. Here, we'll slow down and study God's Word together. We'll examine biblical principles, leadership, identity, purpose, character, spiritual maturity, and practical application for everyday life. You'll receive exclusive teaching series, subscriber-only episodes, study guides, reflection questions, and bonus content designed to help you move beyond information into transformation. My goal isn't simply to help you know more Scripture. My prayer is that every lesson helps you become more like Christ. Throughout the Bible, God consistently formed people before He entrusted them with greater responsibility. Moses was formed before leading Israel. David was formed before becoming king. Joseph was formed before leading a nation. Even Jesus experienced a season of preparation before His public ministry. Formation always comes before assignment. As we walk through these lessons together, I encourage you to come with an open Bible, an open heart, and a willingness to allow God to challenge, shape, and transform you. Thank you for trusting me to be part of your spiritual journey. It is truly an honor. Welcome to The Formation Room. Now, let's begin the work of becoming the people God created us to be.

This conversation equips believers to walk in wisdom without becoming cynical.

Spiritual contamination rarely happens overnight. This episode examines how leaders gradually drift through subtle compromises that often go unnoticed. Dr. Jasmine Baker identifies six warning signs that reveal when oil is becoming contaminated.
