“One, two Freddy’s coming for you…three, four better lock your door…five, six grab your crucifix…seven, eight better stay up late…nine, ten never sleep again…” If you’re a child of the 80s like us you were likely exposed to the terror of this tune as a kid. By the 90s Freddy Krueger was the goofy murder man, but not without a return to form with later renditions. Missteps aside the first remains an absolute horror classic that to this day can chill you and startle the casual viewer! Robert Englund, Heather Langenkamp, and Wes Craven gave us a slasher horror icon for the ages that continues to tickle and terrorize with his razor pointed glove some 40 years later! What are your memories with Freddy???

“No evil shall escape my sight. Let those who worship evils might beware my power Green Lanterns Light!” LANTERNS has finished its first season and it would seem for the most part that people are positively buzzing! We’ve got Hal Jordan, John Stewart, Sinestro, Guy Gardner and some manhunters! What did you think of how season one ended? Did you get what you wanted from it? Did you feel left a little flat? Let us know in the comment!!

It’s October! And you know what that means - our month long venture into the realm of horror, the macabre, the dark, twisted and more sinister side of pop culture! We couldn’t think of a better way to start this year’s spooky season off than with the breakout smash hit from Curry Barker OBSESSION. The film that also gave the world Inde Navarrette in her breakout and allow us to say Oscar-worthy performance. Also adding another chapter to the horror genre and the “be careful what you wish for” style of story. What some are even dubbing “incel horror”? Obsession became the largest grossing horror film and we certainly see why! How many times did you see it? What did you think? Are you obsessed?? Join the conversation and tell us tonight, LIVE, Just Another Spooky October Night! And hide the cat!!

“Feel it comin’ in the air/Hear the screams from everywhere/I’m addicted to the thrill/Can’t be scared when it goes down…” The opening lines of this song echo what the promos for Dead City Season 3 said “Run this Town”. And that in a nutshell was what Season 3 was about! Who was going to run this town tonight?! Maggie, Negan, someone else? We’re wrapping up the season and zombies are always a great entry into the spooky Halloween/October season! It’s Fall y’all, and the Ber months! Grab a pumpkin spice latte, some apple cider donuts and let’s nestle in with TWD: Dead City and the last 3 episodes of season 3!!

“In brightest day, in blackest night…” it’s likely not the first time we’ve led into a pod with this and it if we’re lucky it won’t be the last! Lanterns have ignited around us and we’re ready to discuss the first 5 episodes of the HBO MAX series LANTERNS. Scheduled for 8 episodes we wanted to jump in now and discuss with just what Hal Jordan and John Stewart have been up to. Are you watching? What are your thoughts so far? Tell us in the comments!!

Last weekend San Antonio was descended upon by the Mallrats themselves with the head honcho of the View Askew Rat Pack - Kevin Smith! While we were majorly bummed to not be in attendance ourselves - we got the next best thing, someone who WAS there! Our good friend and frequent contributor from the infamous Now Watch This podcast - Mighty Joe!! Did you attend? If so what were your thoughts, opinions, on the event? Have questions for Joe about his experience? Feel free to drop it all in the comments as we go LIVE on yet Just Another Friday Night!!!

Now you know we had to get back to that great big ol’ rotten apple in The Walking universe the NY of Dead City! Negan and Maggie are pretty chummy and this first half of the season def had its ups and downs for our beloved characters. But for us, the audience, it’s been pure joy to watch! A real return to form for the once mighty Walking Dead. Stellar performances are already happening and a great mix of new characters with the classics. Are you watching? If so what do you think? When did you stop watching TWD proper? If you quit watching when was it? Was there an event that acted as a catalyst? Would you ever come back? What would it take? If you’re not sure this may be the one! Tell us tonight LIVE in the comments!

Caped Crusader is pretty much the best incarnation of Batman in recent years, so it goes without saying that we were extra pumped for season 2. As with season 1 there were some definite shake ups to classic characters and some twists to be had for sure. The 10 episode series on Prime Video is tracking well with fans but what did YOU, the Friday Nighters of The Friday Night Faithful think? Is this a series you loved? Hated? Felt mixed about? Will you revisit it or tell a friend? Hell tell us! We’re ready to hear ya!

Winged bat flys through the night! Tonight is the season 2 premiere of Batman: Caped Crusader on Prime. We loved season 1 but realized we never gave it an episode. We’ve got our thoughts on it, let’s hear yours!

The Woman of Tomorrow is here! Don’t believe ANY of the negative junk you’ve heard out there cause this movie is stellar! Milly Alcock is awesome as Kara Zor-El, Eve Ridley is delightful as Ruthye Marye Knoll, and let’s face it Jason Mamoa was born to be Lobo. This movie is a ton of fun and great introduction to Supergirl. Loosely based off what many consider to be the definitive Supergirl story by Tom King, Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow. We don’t think there’s anything to complain about here. We want to hear what you think! Did you see it? Will you see it? What did you think? We’re on board for the Woman of Tomorrow - SUPERGIRL!!!

“In the chill of night, at the scene of a crime, like a streak of light, He arrives just in time!” A classic line from the 1967 Spider-Man cartoon could easily be describing Ben Reilly. Hard-boiled detective by day, web-slinging vigilante known as “The Spider” by night. Spider-Noir on Prime Video gives us a live action look at the Spider-Noir character first seen in Into the SpiderVerse and it returns Nicholas Cage who voiced the character in the lead role. We see a 1930s NYC post WW1 and without a hero in a time of need. Sounds like a time and place for a Spider-Man or The Spider! We’re discussing the series with full spoilers! Join us in the comments!!
