False teachers follow their lustful desire, and their own personal ambition. They deny the deity of Christ and Salvation by grace through faith.

we have like precious faith. A blessing of grace and peace rests on our life. We are partakers of the divine nature in godliness and virtue.

The Elders are to be willing servants, and humble so as not to Lord over the flock in a oppressive way. Peter also gives good advice and exhortations others in the congregation.

The Spirit of Glory and of God rests upon his people. Judgement or condemnation during the church age, Christians will suffer persecution from the ungodly, yet God in his grace will uphold them who suffer for his name sake. The ungodly will suffer judgment from God and there will be no grace for the unsaved.

We are to have a Christlike service when we will have the approval of God.

We are to be followers God of that which is good and that we may give an answer of the hope that is in us.

There is a need to be compassionate and love the brethren.

As we obey the authority that God has established we obey the God and we put to silence the ignorant and foolishness of man. Yet we also ought to obey God rather than man.
