This week the maniacs talk about how World of Warcraft is not very interesting to look at, the frog/salamander/whale Pokémon Heatran and the top Volcanoes in games (the only Volcanoes they could remember).

Initially this episode was about one of our fave pokemon, Oricorio. But then we go hard into talking about every forms, modes, formes, shapes, variants, varieties, and all that…

Despite both claiming to have done research before this episode, the maniacs discover live, the inspiration behind the Grubbin line of Pokemon. It isn’t a bus, it isn’t a plane, it’s Grubbin! Despite this they do still talk about modes of transport in games (thrilling stuff) plus everyone’s favourite monarch, Queen Slug for A Butt.

This week the maniacs are all about magnets and the pokémon magenzone. Are some pokémon robots? Why is togetic so mid? Who can learn metronome? Why is that eye so big? What are Wario’s power ups and what will the Gen Z great disaster movie look like?

This week’s Pokemon is Calyrex, the horse-fusing, garlic heed. We talk about fusions. Richie hates Calyrex. Cunzy1 1 takes on the Kirby’s Dream Land Master Maniac Quiz and we round off the podcast with a legendary segment about horses, hoses and garlic in video games. Galloppen?

It’s That Guy’s A Maniac Looking Back, Looking Forward episode. We take the turning over of the year as the opportunity to look back at our video game predictions and resolutions from 2025 and then look forward to new games and beating old ones in 2026.
