Ready with the t(r)owel, Nehemia 4:10-23, 27.9.2026. James di Castiglione
2026/09/29
We are being invited to step out in faith and not know the end to reach souls for Christ. How are we going to do this? Inspired from Nehemia - one hand with a sword, fighting with prayer and the other hand with a trowel ready to build. God is on the move and he wants us to be ready to rebuild the spiritual walls.

Let us throw off everything that hinders us. Let us run with perseverance the race that lies before us. Let us ix our eyes on Jesus. Prayer; Where do you want to place me? Am I choosing from a place of fear or faith. Is my heart posture coming as a consumer or disciple? Thinking biblically with God when disaster strikes.
Ready in Prayer, 13.9.26, Revelation 22:14-17, Acts 4: 23-31, James di Castiglione

One of the most important things in the Kingdom is to gather together in corporate prayer. It changes the atmosphere. Why don't we pray? 1) We don't believe anything changes (defeat```). We are more than conquerors! 2) We are quite happy as we are. There is an alarm bell in heaven to pray... the church is being dismantled brick by brick. It's time to get off the sun lounger - to fight in prayer and intercession, and the encouragement is to press in until we find the key. 3 Maybe because of our education system. Maybe we feel we have 'got this!'

What time is it? Revelation 2:1-7, Luke 10:17-24, 6.9.2026, James di Castiglione

God is calling us to be part of His kingdom growth. Is God calling you to go & build or stay & build? We are close to the hallmarks of 18th Century and it was against a gloomy backdrop that mission broke forth. It's time to mobilize to break through for the expansion of the Kingdom.

John 14:18 Do you feel alone and feel that you have to prove yourself by performance? This can be can be called 'orphan thinking'. What have you run out of recently? This story recalls how the wedding wine had run out. Let's explore knowing Jesus, Trusting Jesus and Watching Jesus. What does the story say about Jesus? Jesus meets our needs - he's kind, generous and he likes parties! He's a God of abundance. The servants obey Jesus, even when it doesn't make sense. Nothing is too ordinary or messy for him. What do I need to bring to Jesus today? Jesus asked them to bring what they had. If we believe, we can trust Him with big and small things. Jesus is inviting you to join in. What is Jesus asking you to do - even if you don't understand? Let's bring what we have , hand it over to Him - and He can turn our water into wine.
