Dr Sofoniyas Getane Budane is a Senior Anaesthesia Resident in his final year of training, currently working at Blacklion Specialised Hospital in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

In this GASOC #COVIDPod episdoe, we will be hearing from Dr Niveshni Maistry and Dr Linda Pohl who are surgical doctors within South Africa. Niveshni works in Paediatric Surgery in Johannesburg and Linda in General Surgery in Cape Town.  They are also leaders within the South Africa Global Surgery Society, which aims to aim to improve access to safe surgical care within SA through research, education, local & international collaboration.
