Leanne and Steve discussed the biblical passage from Daniel, focusing on the courtroom scene with thrones and the judgment of the Ancient One. Leanne suggested that the thrones might represent the 12 tribes of Israel and the disciples of Jesus, while also referencing Colossians' mention of the church's role in revealing God's wisdom to spiritual authorities. They explored the concept of the Merkaba seat from Jewish mysticism and its connection to Ezekiel's visions. The conversation concluded with a discussion of the 4th beast representing a future world power, its 10 horns symbolizing 10 kings, and the eventual establishment of God's kingdom over all rulers.

Vicki emphasizes the importance of daily spiritual discipline and perseverance in faith, using biblical examples to illustrate how consistent devotion prepares believers for challenging moments. She critiques the notion of relying solely on God's intervention without personal effort, comparing it to the theatrical device "Deus ex machina." Vicki also discusses the significance of fasting, highlighting its multiple benefits including spiritual growth, healing, and potentially deeper experiences of God's glory in eternity. Leanne agrees, adding that fasting is a practical way to put faith into action and pursue healing through a personal relationship with God.
