We did take a road trip to Lexington to watch the Wildcats play Bama . . . believe me going down was much better than coming back; not just for me, but all of Buckeye Nation.  What a weekend. Summer is gone and COLLEGE FOOTBALL is in the air!   You will hear a new voice on this episode and hopefully on future ones as well.  Quentin is a rep with one of the companies we do business with.  We always end up talking sports, so it was just natural that he join me on the kickoff (some pun intended) episode of the 26-27 season, It's great having another person, again, to talk with and he does a REALLY great job.  So, welcome to the 26-27 College Football Season HAPPY FRIDAY YA'LL!

It truly is kids, all about the Derby.  This one is short and sweet with horses, post positions and odds.  A little about why post position matters, who is sitting pretty this year (and it isn't the favorite - they drew the number 1 post) and who isn't.  Who has already scrated.  A personal request for the singing of My Old Kentucky Home and that about does it! MJ hasn't slept, she's watching the SEC Tournament at work and Hockey has to fit in there somewhere! She has stories to tell  . . . that are unbelievable (at least in her mind)! It is that time of year when it feels like every sport is colliding and it's hard to keep up with it all . . . but MJ will persevere! Here's to another March Madness  . . . The First Lawsuit against an NIL QB has been launched!  Looks like the SEC will rule Selection Sunday for the NCAA Tourney (much to the dismay of the Big Ten), Why are NCAA Refs so high on that pedestal, especially when they can be so bad and what about those boys of the USA Hockey team, along with all the other great men and women of the USA who did so brilliantly - Happy Friday Ya'll

MJ asks the universal question . . . Why are Refs not held accountable?  For bad calls, missed calls and everything in-between! Some chit-chat about The Winter Olympics, the upcoming weather, etc, etc. Have a good one and HAPPY FRIDAY YA'LL!

We are in a new year with the CFP's narrowing down to the final two and basketball getting into the heart of conference play.  It will be March before we know it! MJ's prediction on the Miami - Ole Miss game. her take on Bluebloods and who is!! the bluest of them all and she thinks she can fix NIL and the every popular rabbit hole (also known as the portal). A little news of UK's new football coach and what he's accomplished so far . . . who knows, we could be talking about UK and playoff games next season!!!!!! A little run down of Who, What, Where and When for the CFP's.  There are some  match ups and there could be some surprises this year. The Vampire rolls into Rupp Saturday with his St. John's team . . . let us hope the momentum from the Indiana game is still going strong!!! And  . . . SEEMS like an odd title, but considering MJ is on cold meds, the Buckeyes lost to Indiana, Kentucky has a new football coach who is hitting it hard and the basketball team sucks wind right now . . .  AND MJ had NO notes . . .  The CFP is upon us and the "committee" has deemed it necessary to put OSU and Indiana on a collision course.  We'll see how that works out for everyone. But there is a bright spot . . . let's hear it for the UK Women's Volleyball team who is on their way to the Elite 8!  Go get 'em girls!!!! Happy Friday ya'll

The title has absolutely nothing to do with anything MJ talks about this week . . . it has everything to do with the 1 minute gap in the audio between minutes 10 and 11!  Just wanted to give you heads up. Some very close football games last week, and some wins coming at literally the very last second.  Barnburners for sure!! Kentucky had games in basketball and football and the outcomes are probably not what you'd expect.  Left this Bourbon and Buckeyes girl in a state of shock and disbelief -  HAPPY FRIDAY YA'LL!
