There’s POWER in Your Child’s Health Data
2026/10/01
Welcome to Episode 327 of Autism Parenting Secrets. This week, I’m joined by Elizabeth Horn, Executive Director of 2M Foundation and a longtime advocate, innovator, and mother to her daughter Sophia, who was diagnosed with autism in 1997. For nearly three decades, Elizabeth has been asking some of the biggest questions in autism: What is actually happening with our kids? And how can we know if what we’re doing is actually helping? Now, advances in artificial intelligence may make it possible to explore those questions in entirely new ways. Elizabeth is helping develop Count.AI, a platform designed to bring together years of information about an individual child, including labs, health records, wearable data, parent observations, and more. The goal is to make information that has historically been scattered or invisible easier to see, track, and learn from over time. We discuss why every child is an N-of-1, how AI may help identify patterns that humans simply cannot see, and why parents taking greater ownership of their child’s health information could represent a major shift in how families navigate this journey. Elizabeth also shares what she believes could become possible over the next five years as AI, longitudinal data, and the collective experiences of families begin to converge.   The secret this week is…  There’s POWER in Your Child’s Health Data   You'll Discover: Why AI Could Help Parents Connect Previously Invisible Dots (9:56)Why What Works Best Is What Works For Your Individual Child (14:39)How Count.AI Brings Years Of Health Information Together (19:32)Why Owning Your Child’s Health Is A Critical Paradigm Shift (26:36)What Could Be Possible Within Five Years (40:09)  About Our Guest: Elizabeth Horn is Executive Director of 2M Foundation and a longtime health journey advocate, entrepreneur, innovator, and Silicon Valley marketer. She is Co-Founder and LP of Autism Impact Fund, Co-Founder of ChARM Health, Co-Founder of Brain Foundation, and Producer/Director of IN OUR OWN HANDS: How Patients Are Reinventing Medicine. Her daughter Sophia was diagnosed with autism in 1997, beginning a nearly three-decade journey of searching for better ways to understand each child’s individual biology, health data, and needs. https://2mfoundation.org/about-us/   References in this Episode: The COUNT.ai Project - Join the Beta2M Foundation  Additional Resources: To learn more about personalized 1:1 support go to www.elevatehowyounavigate.com  If you enjoyed this episode, share it with your friends.
We Need Acceptance AND Prevention
2026/09/24
Welcome to Episode 326 of Autism Parenting Secrets. This week, I’m joined by Tyler Hudson, author of The Missing Lyrics: A Father’s Story of Autism, Grief, and a Society in Denial. Tyler’s son Lyric is 18 and has profound autism. Our sons are close in age, and while every family’s journey is unique, there are many commonalities in what we’ve experienced. Tyler has a remarkable ability to put words around complicated and emotionally charged experiences that many parents have felt but struggled to articulate. We talk about the grief that can accompany this journey, how a parent’s perspective changes over time, the enormous breadth of the autism spectrum, and the courage required to question prevailing narratives and stand up for what you believe is right. We also explore the importance of presuming competence and recognizing that a child who struggles to communicate may understand far more than we realize. And we confront a distinction that sits at the heart of Tyler’s advocacy: accepting, loving, and supporting people with autism today does not mean we stop asking difficult questions about why so many children are struggling or seeking to prevent unnecessary suffering for future generations. Those goals are not in conflict.   The secret this week is…  We Need Acceptance AND Prevention   You'll Discover: Why Hope Changes As The Journey Unfolds (3:11)How Grief Can Lead To Acceptance (13:22)Why The Autism Spectrum Needs More Distinction (22:10)The Difference Between Being Nice And Doing What’s Right (39:56)Why Presuming Competence Matters So Much (47:33)  About Our Guest: Tyler Hudson is a husband, father of three, musician and advocate for families living at the deep end of the spectrum. From Texas, now living in Tasmania, Tyler speaks openly about grief, disability, and the responsibility we owe future generations. https://tylerhudsonmusic.com/   References in this Episode: The Missing Lyrics: A Father's Story of Autism, Grief, and a Society In Denial by Tyler Hudson  Additional Resources: To learn more about personalized 1:1 support go to www.elevatehowyounavigate.com  If you enjoyed this episode, share it with your friends.
You CAN Biohack Autism
2026/09/17
Welcome to Episode 325 of Autism Parenting Secrets. This week, I'm joined by Nadia Elkhatib, host of the Biohacking Autism podcast. Nadia holds a master's degree in computer science and spent her career in Silicon Valley tech, bringing that same engineer's mindset to more than twenty years of helping her son Jimmy. Measure. Test. Adjust. Repeat. Nadia believes parents need to become the CEO of their child's health. That doesn't mean doing everything yourself. It means owning the strategy, understanding the data, recognizing patterns, asking better questions, and building the right team around you. Rather than continually chasing symptoms, Nadia has increasingly looked to longevity and biohacking for a more foundational answer: How can we help the body do its job better? That has led her to focus deeply on metabolic health and nervous system regulation. We also explore why caregiver health can't be overlooked. The better you function, the better equipped you are to make decisions, lead the journey, and show up for your child. And Nadia gets a firsthand look at another form of biohacking as we review her All-In Parent Assessment and identify opportunities to make an already strong parent even stronger.   The secret this week is…  You CAN Biohack Autism   You'll Discover: Why biohacking puts parents back in the driver's seat (5:33)Why the buck ultimately stops with the parent (8:10)Why it's time to stop chasing symptoms (12:03)Why starting with what you can control matters (28:49)Why you can't bypass caregiver health (57:56)  About Our Guest: Nadia Elkhatib is the host of Biohacking Autism, a podcast about real solutions for people with autism and the ones who love them. She holds a master's degree in computer science and spent her career in Silicon Valley tech, bringing that same engineer's mindset to raising her son with severe autism: measure, test, adjust, repeat. She is now building a private Biohacking Autism community where members get her ongoing research and current protocols, along with access to leading autism, longevity, and biohacking experts. Every episode of the show runs on two tracks: practical protocols for the person on the spectrum and healthspan and longevity for the moms, dads, and caregivers supporting them. biohackautism.com   References in this Episode: Biohacking Autism PodcastDave AspreyDr. Neil Nathan  Additional Resources: To learn more about personalized 1:1 support go to www.elevatehowyounavigate.com  If you enjoyed this episode, share it with your friends.
Your Ability To NOTICE Is A Superpower
2026/09/10
Welcome to Episode 324 of Autism Parenting Secrets. This week, I'm joined by Sarah Kernion, founder of INCHSTONES and mother of three children, including two with profound, non-speaking autism and whole body apraxia. Parents see things others simply can't. You are with your child across thousands of ordinary moments. You notice subtle changes in behavior, connection, sleep, digestion, regulation, communication, and development. Those observations aren't insignificant. They're clues. Yet it's easy to discount what you see when you're sitting across from a doctor, therapist, teacher, or other professional with years of training and expertise. Sarah makes a powerful case for a different posture. You don't need to know more than the experts.  But you do need to recognize that you bring something to the table that no one else can: an extraordinarily deep understanding of your child. That means becoming more than an advocate. It means becoming an intentional observer, noticing patterns, documenting what you see, asking better questions, and trusting yourself enough to bring those observations forward. We also explore the importance of asking not only "What is this?" but "Why might this be happening?" And Sarah shares the idea at the heart of INCHSTONES: progress isn't only found in the big milestones we're conditioned to look for. It's also found in the tiny moments of connection, growth, and development that are easy to miss when we're focused only on how far our child still has to go. Those inchstones matter.   The secret this week is…  Your Ability To NOTICE Is A Superpower   You'll Discover: Why your observations about your child are incredibly important clues (3:53)How to show up differently in conversations with practitioners (10:21)Why becoming a better observer changes your role in your child's care (21:07)Why asking "Why might this be happening?" can reveal more (31:36)Why inchstones deserve to be celebrated alongside milestones (39:02)  About Our Guest: Sarah Kernion is the founder of INCHSTONES, host of the Inchstones podcast, and a national advocate for families raising children with profound autism. She is the mother of three children, including Milly and Mack, who both have profound, non-speaking autism and whole body apraxia. Through honest storytelling and conversations with leading researchers, physicians, and fellow caregivers, Sarah explores the intersection of science, advocacy, and the lived reality of raising children with the highest support needs. Her work invites parents to notice the small moments that often reveal the biggest truths because inchstones, not milestones, change lives. www.inchstones.co   References in this Episode: Meadow HealthAdditional Resources: To learn more about personalized 1:1 support go to www.elevatehowyounavigate.com  If you enjoyed this episode, share it with your friends.
Healing Is More Possible Than You Think
2026/09/03
Welcome to Episode 323 of Autism Parenting Secrets. This week, I'm joined by returning guest Beth Lambert, Executive Director of Documenting Hope and author of A Compromised Generation. After more than two decades immersed in children's health, Beth is more hopeful than ever. Why? The science has changed.  Our understanding of the microbiome, nervous system, metabolism, environmental stressors, and other contributors to chronic childhood conditions has exploded.  More practitioners are applying this knowledge clinically.  And more parents are sharing stories of children making remarkable progress. But having more information and more options doesn't necessarily make a parent's job easier. In fact, it can make discernment even more important. Your child is unique.  There is no universal roadmap, perfect practitioner, or silver bullet.  The opportunity is to gather good information and support while becoming increasingly clear about what makes sense for your child. We also explore something parents can easily overlook: you are part of your child's environment. Your nervous system, energy, decisions, consistency, and ability to regulate matter.  Supporting yourself isn't taking attention away from your child. It can be foundational to helping your child feel safe and thrive. Beth also shares why in-person community can be so powerful and what she's most excited about at Documenting Hope's upcoming Health & Healing Expo in Orlando, November 21-22. The future is changing quickly. There are more reasons for hope, more tools available, and more possibilities opening up for families.   The secret this week is…  Healing Is More Possible Than You Think   You'll Discover: Why there’s more reason for hope than ever before (1:26) Why YOU are your child’s most important decision-maker (7:00) Why commitment beats chasing the next intervention (15:42) How community can create unexpected breakthroughs (23:05) Why the future of children’s health could look radically different (32:48)   About Our Guest: Beth Lambert is a former healthcare consultant and teacher. As a consultant, she worked with pharmaceutical, medical device, diagnostic, and other healthcare companies to evaluate industry trends. She is the author of A Compromised Generation: The Epidemic of Chronic Illness in America's Children and co-author of Brain Under Attack: A Resource for Parents and Caregivers of Children with PANS, PANDAS, and Autoimmune Encephalitis. Beth founded Epidemic Answers in 2009 and currently serves as Executive Director of Documenting Hope. She attended Oxford University, graduated from Williams College, and holds a Master's Degree in American Studies from Fairfield University. www.beth-lambert.com/documenting-hope   References in this Episode: Health & Healing Expo by Documenting Hope, November 21–22, 2026 | Orlando, Florida + Virtual Healing Together by Documenting Hope A Compromised Generation by Beth Lambert Brain Under Attack by Beth Lambert   Additional Resources: To learn more about personalized 1:1 support go to www.elevatehowyounavigate.com   If you enjoyed this episode, share it with your friends.
Don’t Hand Over Your AUTHORITY
2026/08/27
Welcome to Episode 322 of Autism Parenting Secrets. This episode is about discernment, intuition, nervous system regulation, and learning how to think independently when navigating your child’s health challenges. Dr. Cammy Benton shares the painful experience that pushed her beyond conventional medicine after one of her daughters became severely ill.  Despite being a physician herself, she found herself dismissed, gaslit, and pressured to ignore her own instincts while her child continued deteriorating. What followed completely transformed how she views medicine, parenting, and healing. You’ll hear why curiosity, humility, and critical thinking matter so much when choosing practitioners and making decisions for your child.  You’ll also hear why nervous system regulation is essential if parents want to access their own intuition clearly. This is not about rejecting medicine. It’s about remaining conscious, engaged, and empowered while navigating complex decisions. The secret this week is…  Don’t Hand Over Your AUTHORITY You'll Discover: Why fear can cause you to doubt your own instincts (14:11) How fear can cloud your ability to make good decisions (34:31) Why curiosity and humility lead to better healthcare decisions (26:39) Why you shouldn’t outsource your discernment to anyone (32:04) Why regulating yourself helps your child thrive (36:14) About Our Guest: Dr. Cammy Benton, MD is a functional medicine physician, IFM-certified and currently completing a longevity fellowship with A4M. Since 2016, she has owned Benton Integrative, a holistic concierge practice in Huntersville, North Carolina. A graduate of medical school in 2000 and Family Medicine residency in 2004, she has spent over two decades studying integrative modalities including nutrition, homeopathy, Ayurveda, sexual health, functional medicine, and psychedelic medicine. She is a Founding Director of Physicians for Informed Consent, advocating for truly informed medical choice, and is also a student of ancient healing traditions. https://www.bentonintegrative.com/ Additional Resources: To learn more about personalized 1:1 support go to www.elevatehowyounavigate.com If you enjoyed this episode, share it with your friends.
Never Make Decisions Out Of FEAR
2026/08/20
Welcome to Episode 321 of Autism Parenting Secrets. Parents make high-stakes decisions for their children all the time. And those decisions become much harder when they're surrounded by conflicting opinions, uncertainty, pressure, and fear. My guest this week is Dr. Taylor Bean, a Naturopathic Doctor and MAPS Fellow who is passionate about helping parents understand their options so they can make more informed decisions for their unique child. Her own journey into informed consent began when she became a mother, and that principle now runs throughout her work with families. In this conversation, we cover a lot of ground. Dr. Bean explains why she thinks the earliest years matter so much for establishing microbial health, why food introduction deserves more thought than it often receives, and how genetics can help practitioners better understand a child's inflammatory response. We also explore Vitamin A, probiotics, homeopathy, fever, and practical ways parents can prepare before their child gets sick. And we dive into vaccine decision-making, including why Dr. Bean believes so many parents find themselves in a "gray zone" where they aren't looking for someone to tell them what to do.  They want to understand their options so they can decide for themselves.. That's the bigger message here. You don't need someone else to make the decision for you. You need the information, support, and confidence to make an informed decision that's right for your child. The secret this week is…  Never Make Decisions Out Of FEAR You'll Discover: Why informed consent became foundational to Dr. Bean's work (3:15) Why MTHFR isn't the whole story when considering inflammatory response (15:50) Why Vitamin A plays such an important role in Dr. Bean's approach (19:32) How being prepared can reduce fear when your child gets sick (27:47) Why so many parents are stuck in the vaccine "gray zone" (40:44) About Our Guest: Dr. Taylor Bean is a Naturopathic Doctor and owner of TaylorMade Wellness in Salmon Arm, British Columbia. Becoming a mother is where her core value of achieving informed consent was born. While her profession taught her to be curious and treat each patient individually, it was her positive birthing experiences that changed her perspective on what a true doctor-patient relationship means. Her career started in Singapore, where she supported patients throughout Southeast Asia. She has been supporting Canadian families since 2016. www.drtaylorbean.com Vaccine Education Masteclass References in this Episode: MAPS Parent Conference - September 12-13, 2026 in Philadelphia, PA - Use code PARENT20 for discounted admission Medical Academy of Pediatrics & Special Needs (MAPS) Dr. Ben Lynch Additional Resources: To learn more about personalized 1:1 support go to www.elevatehowyounavigate.com If you enjoyed this episode, share it with your friends.
Virtual Reality Prepares For Real Life
2026/08/13
Welcome to Episode 320 of Autism Parenting Secrets. Many parents are understandably cautious about technology. And for good reason. Screens are everywhere. Devices are everywhere. Artificial intelligence is rapidly changing how we live. And virtual reality is becoming more accessible than ever. So where does it fit? Should it simply be avoided, or could it become another valuable tool to help children learn and grow? Vijay Ravindran is the founder and CEO of Floreo, a virtual reality-based therapeutic platform designed to help autistic and neurodivergent individuals build social, communication, behavioral, and independent living skills. In this conversation, Vijay shares the personal story that inspired Floreo, explains why practicing skills in a low-pressure virtual environment can improve real-world learning, and discusses the clinical research supporting this approach. He also addresses an important concern many parents have: how to use technology intentionally, thoughtfully, and in moderation while keeping the focus on helping children thrive. Whether or not virtual reality ultimately becomes part of your child's journey, this episode offers a practical framework for thinking differently about how learning happens and how technology may complement, rather than replace, the important work already being done by parents, therapists, and educators. The secret this week is…  Virtual Reality Prepares For Real Life You'll Discover: Why practicing in a low-pressure environment can build real-world confidence (5:11) How Floreo keeps parents and therapists actively involved throughout every lesson (13:04) Why just 20 minutes per week produced meaningful clinical improvements (18:41) Why children with higher support needs showed the greatest gains in Floreo's clinical trial (25:11) The encouraging message every autism parent needs to hear about their child's potential (34:32) About Our Guest: Vijay Ravindran is the founder and CEO of Floreo, a virtual reality-based digital therapeutic company developing FDA-regulated software-as-a-medical-device (SaMD) treatments for autism and other neurodevelopmental conditions. Under his leadership, Floreo has earned FDA Breakthrough Device Designation, completed a pivotal randomized controlled trial demonstrating statistically significant clinical outcomes, and expanded its platform across clinics, schools, and homes while pursuing FDA De Novo clearance. Prior to founding Floreo, Vijay served as Chief Digital Officer of The Washington Post and previously held senior software engineering and product leadership roles at Amazon, where he helped launch Amazon Prime. Protect BIFIDOBACTERIA First
2026/08/06
Welcome to Episode 319 of Autism Parenting Secrets. For years, parents have heard about probiotics, gut health, dysbiosis, and the microbiome.  But those broad concepts don't always answer the most important question: What should we focus on first? Dr. Sabine Hazan has spent more than two decades studying the microbiome, and her research has taken an unexpected turn.  What began as an investigation into COVID immunity led her to a much larger discovery.  Across autism, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, cancer, Lyme disease, long COVID, inflammatory bowel disease, and many other chronic illnesses, one common thread kept appearing: declining levels of BIFIDOBACTERIA. In this conversation, Dr. Hazan explains why she believes this group of beneficial microbes deserves far more attention, why simply taking probiotics may not be enough, and why protecting the microbiome may be one of the most important investments families can make in their children's long-term health. Whether or not future research confirms every aspect of her current thinking, this episode offers a fascinating look into how one physician-scientist is approaching one of the biggest unanswered questions in autism. The secret this week is…  Protect BIFIDOBACTERIA First You'll Discover: Why autism became "all about BIFIDOBACTERIA" for Dr. Hazan (3:15) The surprising difference between restoring and simply adding probiotics (24:05) Why protecting the microbiome may be even more important than rebuilding it (29:15) Several everyday factors Dr. Hazan believes can rapidly deplete BIFIDOBACTERIA (35:45) Why the future of autism may begin with measuring the microbiome much earlier in life (1:07:50) About Our Guest: Dr. Sabine Hazan is one of today's most highly regarded gastroenterologists and researchers helping shape the field of microbiome science. She is the CEO of Ventura Clinical Trials and founder of ProgenaBiome, a CLIA-certified, CAP-accredited laboratory exploring the relationship between the microbiome and conditions including autism, cancer, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, and longevity. Dr. Hazan has led more than 46 clinical trials and has published extensively on stool testing, probiotics, fecal microbiota transplantation, and the role of the gut microbiome in chronic disease.  She also founded the Microbiome Research Foundation to advance independent microbiome research. https://sabinehazanmd.com/ References in this Episode: ProgenaBiome Microbiome Research Foundation Let's Talk Shit by Dr. Sabine Hazan Autism Health Summit Documenting Hope Additional Resources: To learn more about personalized 1:1 support go to www.elevatehowyounavigate.com If you enjoyed this episode, share it with your friends.
Don’t Skip The FOUR PILLARS
2026/07/30
Welcome to Episode 318 of Autism Parenting Secrets. Many parents enter this journey searching for the next therapy, treatment, supplement, or breakthrough intervention.  While those approaches can absolutely help, Dr. Kurt Woeller believes one of the most common mistakes is pursuing advanced therapies before establishing the foundations that allow them to work. Dr. Woeller is an integrative and functional medicine physician, biomedical autism specialist, educator, author, and Chief Medical Officer of Mosaic Diagnostics.  For nearly 30 years, he has helped families and practitioners better understand the underlying factors influencing health, development, communication, behavior, and recovery. In this conversation, he shares the Four Pillars that he believes should remain at the center of every biomedical program: diet, foundational nutrients, gut health, and methylation.  He also explains why individualized investigation, thoughtful testing, and consistent implementation matter far more than chasing the latest trend. The secret this week is…  Don’t Skip The FOUR PILLARS You'll Discover: Why skipping the foundation slows progress (9:12) The FOUR PILLARS every parent should strengthen first (10:47) How to find your child's unique "kryptonite" (30:18) The one test NOT to skip (41:36) Why great parents become great detectives (50:09) About Our Guest: Dr. Kurt N. Enhance Regulation While Your Child Sleeps
2026/07/16
Welcome to Episode 316 of Autism Parenting Secrets. Many children on the spectrum live in a chronic state of stress and dysregulation.  Their nervous systems are constantly responding to environmental stressors, making restorative sleep more difficult and leaving both children and parents depleted. Tammy Arthur believes that one of the simplest ways to support the body is by improving the sleep environment.  She explains the fascinating origin of The Wellness Blanket, the concept behind its design, and why she believes helping the body settle into a more regulated state may improve sleep and overall well-being. Our conversation explores the relationship between nervous system regulation, environmental stress, EMFs, inflammation, and restorative sleep.  Tammy also shares stories from families who have experienced meaningful changes after incorporating The Wellness Blanket into their nightly routine. Whether or not you decide this particular approach is right for your family, this episode reinforces an important principle: sometimes the simplest changes to your child's environment can have the greatest impact. The secret this week is… Enhance Regulation While Your Child Sleeps You'll Discover: How Russian space research inspired The Wellness Blanket (6:19) What parents noticed after just one night of better sleep (9:16) Why supporting the parasympathetic nervous system matters (15:18) How simple environmental changes may improve sleep quality (26:01) About Our Guest: Tammy Arthur is a Certified Natural Health Professional, educator, and founder of The Wellness Blanket.  After spending more than two decades teaching in public, Christian, and homeschool settings, she pursued advanced training in natural health with a passion for helping others improve their well-being. Restore the Missing Microbes
2026/07/09
Welcome to Episode 315 of Autism Parenting Secrets. When we think about chronic illness, it's easy to focus on the diagnosis. But what if the diagnosis is only the visible expression of a much deeper systems problem? After her husband John was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, Martha Carlin refused to settle for symptom management alone.  Instead, she spent years studying nutrition, toxic exposures, and the gut microbiome, eventually uncovering important connections between Parkinson's, autism, and many other chronic conditions. Our conversation explores why so many families may be missing beneficial microbes, how modern life has disrupted our internal ecosystem, why testing can provide valuable insights when interpreted correctly, and what practical steps parents can take to begin restoring microbial balance. Whether your child has autism or another complex condition, this episode offers a fresh way to think about health by focusing on root causes instead of symptoms. The secret this week is… Restore the Missing Microbes You'll Discover: Why systems thinking changed everything for Martha (2:07) Why missing microbes matter more than you think (8:34) How to think about microbiome testing (10:40) Why C-section births can influence early microbial development (24:45) What makes a probiotic more than just another supplement (29:17) About Our Guest: Martha Carlin is a scientist, microbiome innovator, systems thinker, founder of BiotiQuest and The BioCollective, and author of Connected: Love, Loss, and the Unseen Forces Behind Chronic Disease. After her husband was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, Martha left a successful corporate career to better understand the biological roots of chronic illness. Her work explores how disruptions in the gut microbiome contribute to inflammation, insulin resistance, neurological decline, and other chronic conditions. She founded BiotiQuest, a science-based probiotic company, and developed Sugar Shift, a patented probiotic clinically shown to reduce endotoxin levels and improve insulin sensitivity. She also partners with Ancient Organics Biosciences, helping bridge soil health and human health through innovative microbial solutions. Martha has collaborated with researchers at Caltech, the University of Chicago, and University College Cork. She has received a $1.2 million NIH grant, spoken at the White House Microbiome Initiative, delivered a widely viewed TEDx talk, and currently serves as a Research Fellow at the Australian National University. Reduce Artificial Quantum Noise
2026/07/02
Welcome to Episode 314 of Autism Parenting Secrets. Most parents in our community already understand the importance of reducing toxic exposures.  We think about food, water, mold, chemicals, and air quality because we know the environment our children live in matters. But what if there's another environmental stressor that most families are exposed to every day... yet few truly understand? This week, I sit down with materials scientist and inventor Joaquín Machado to explore a different way of thinking about electromagnetic pollution. You'll discover how it may be affecting sleep, nervous system regulation, and overall resilience, along with practical ways to create a more supportive environment for healing. Consensus ISN’T The Same As Truth
2026/06/25
Welcome to Episode 313 of Autism Parenting Secrets. This week I'm joined by attorney Aaron Siri, Managing Partner of Siri & Glimstad and author of the new book Vaccines, Amen. Aaron has spent more than a decade challenging government agencies, pharmaceutical companies, and public health institutions on issues related to medical freedom, informed consent, and transparency. In this conversation, we explore why vaccines are treated differently under the law than almost any other product, what Aaron discovered through years of litigation and public records requests, and why parents should understand the difference between scientific consensus and scientific evidence. Regardless of where you land on these issues, this discussion highlights the importance of critical thinking, asking better questions, and making informed decisions in a world where complex topics are often reduced to simple talking points. The secret this week is…  Consensus ISN’T The Same As Truth You'll Discover: Why one product is treated differently than almost every other product on the market (2:05) Why doing your own homework matters more than most parents realize (15:10) The difference between consensus and actual evidence (27:48) What a federal lawsuit revealed about the studies behind a major public health claim (33:36) Why informed consent requires the freedom to say no (38:20) About Our Guest: Aaron Siri is the author of Vaccines, Amen, host of the Informed w/ Aaron Siri podcast, and Managing Partner of Siri & Glimstad LLP, a national law firm focused on civil rights, constitutional law, and complex litigation. He has led numerous high-profile legal challenges involving medical mandates, government transparency, and informed consent, including efforts that resulted in the release of Pfizer's Covid-19 clinical trial documents and the restoration of vaccine exemptions affecting hundreds of thousands of students. Aaron is a graduate of UC Berkeley School of Law and is widely recognized for his work advancing informed consent, medical freedom, and government transparency. www.sirillp.com/aaron-siri/ References in this Episode: Vaccines, Amen by Aaron Siri Informed w/ Aaron Siri podcast Informed Consent Action Network (ICAN) Siri & Glimstad Additional Resources: To learn more about personalized 1:1 support go to www.elevatehowyounavigate.com If you enjoyed this episode, share it with your friends.
