The Earth doesn't have reputation consultants or damage control specialists.  It's main gesture lately is melting Himalayan mountains... 2026 will be the hottest year in history and in the number two position? 2024.  2023 and 2025 are tied for 3rd place. The vertical climb of scalding heat is killing people, animals and plants as I type these words but the millions of people in the "investor class" blocks the sharing of resources and welcomes Donald Trump's compassless government. The investors wield their hate from air conditioned interiors.  The Earth is made of love, but her struggle to survive humanity's polluters will be the end of us.

But the billionaire brats of Silicon Valley won't ever get close to that goal.  The horizons will close in and put a spell on them.  That's where our freedom waits for us. The question "What is life?" destroys the aggressive capitalists.. The question is utterly unanswerable and more powerful than our stupid simulations and robots.  Unbelievably, the billionaires are going back to the violent "My culture not yours" playbook.  AI is guiding bombs killing innocent families in the mideast.  Can we at some point recognize that our jealous clutching of the mysteries has always resulted in killing?  Too much information makes war.  Unlimited mystery, like the starry night sky, makes Peace.

We make love to make life! That's what the Earth designs!  Life makes Life! After the raving love sermon the Earth takes the microphone.  Ojibwe drum circle follows Common Loons, the lord and lady of the rice lakes.  And then wolves and thunderstorms and Sun Ra and Beethoven and raging floods and in Savitri D's  News From The Natural World amazing Earth life is confronted by the killers of life, our toxic political opponents.... And we know the Earth will win.  Earthlujah!

And Musk’s 14 children ask Angelina Jolie to adopt them.

What soft fire persists under the hundreds of miles of devastation that are left in sorrowing survivors, unexploded bombs, and ashes?The flowers, spiders, invisible bacteria, shadows of eagles, oozing stews of life coming up through the rubble, pushing aside the folly of our empire.  Happens again and again.  Viet Nam, Chile, Nicaragua, Vieques, Lumumba, Allende, Chico Mendes, Fred Hampton, Leonard Peltier.  The task of being a USA person trying to maintain a conscience.  Always waiting for the freedom-fighters and the flowers.

The distance between realization and actualization is growing and growing.  We can picture the fire but we can't light the flame.  That would mean standing up from our chair. The old the common sense of democracy was if we have the facts, we can act.  But our sensory experience of a thing has been blown up and filled with attention-manipulating vibrating light, a bubble the size of Grand Central Station, and we float around inside its delicious weightlessness. Nonsense wars, raging political corruption, and an international rash of data centers - are tragedies we watch, and nothing we can act on.  I'm getting a dopomine rush typing out these words. I need to GO OUTSIDE.  Earthalujah!

These hot summer days, we're trapped in a kind of strait of Hormuz.  Stuck in the sludge of AI info floods, dying oceans, ICE murders… This is the Billionaire economy, and we need new disruptions in our traditional logic.  We need the Earth to step in and lead us to our new strangeness.  Call it accelerated evolution.  Will we be “Strange Enough To Change Enough”?  Out of extinction evolves new efficient monsters.  Out of the dying oceans come breath-taking storms. The Earth is coming!  The Earth is Coming!
