July 2026. - Evidentiary hearing is ongoing this week in the Middlesex County Superior Court in Woburn, Massachusetts in connection to the decade long Massachusetts rigged crime labs scandals as reported in early 2010s. In this episode, Jamie brings a recap of today’s session. The Massachusetts crime lab scandals involved two rogue chemists, Annie Dookhan and Sonja Farak, whose misconduct compromised over 60,000 drug convictions in the early years of the 2010s. Their actions at state crime laboratories led to the largest mass dismissal of wrongful convictions in U.S. history, prompting the dismissal of over 21,000 cases connected to Dookhan and over 24,000 tainted convictions tied to Farak. Yet, to this day, several thousands of their victims remain wrongfully convicted and lost their freedom. We stand with their families. Their cases must be overturned.
