Stand the Test
2026/09/22
What happens when your faith is tested? In the first week of our study of James, Pastor Jeff Davis challenges us to not only know God's Word, but to stand on it, live it out, and persevere through every trial. As we begin our new study and explore our theme of a Harvest of Righteousness, we'll discover what it looks like to build our lives on Christ, rely on God's wisdom and the power of the Holy Spirit, and finish standing strong. James reminds us that trials can produce perseverance and shape us into people who live out what we believe. Listen in as we begin our journey through James and learn what it means to stand the test.

Be the Gospel

Be the Gospel. In this sermon, Buddy Fisch challenges us to move beyond simply knowing the gospel to living it every day. Drawing from Ephesians 1:13, he reminded us that when we hear, receive, believe, and identify with the gospel, we are sealed with the Holy Spirit and called to reflect Christ to the world. Through Scriptures including Galatians 2:20, Colossians 1:27, and Philippians 3:13–14, we were encouraged to keep our eyes on Jesus, leave the past behind, and walk as overcomers. The gospel is not only the message that saves us; it is the life we are called to live as Christ lives in us.
