Nynaeve tricks Lan into fulfilling his destiny regarding the Golden Crane. In Tear Rand meets the nobles in The Stone and Loagin delivers a message to the Seafolk leaders, right before they get the news of the mass Amayar suicide. Things are hotting up, big time! It's a new day, a new episode and a new book! And Knife of Dreams kicks things off with a BANG! Galad makes some big moves in the Whitecloaks organisation. Rodel Ituralde starts his raids on the Seanchan in Tarabon, putting his grand plan in action. Suroth gets annoyed and takes Rodel Ituralde's bait. Pevara formally gets assigned the job of approaching the Black Tower about bonding Asha'man as warders, and learns Talene has been summoned by the Black Ajah Supreme Council. Alviarin smells a rat, and not just one of the rats in the Tower. She has Doesine and Yukiri watched. Perrin gets a visit from Galina after she's scooped up by Gaul and Neald and extracts a bit of information about the Shaido and Malden from her. Egwene arrives at the White Tower after being captured at the harbour. She learns she won't be stilled, but will be re-entered into the Novice book. Let us know what you thought! And just like that we're at the finish line! Moiraine and her Malkieri escort encounter some bandits and would be assassins on the way to Chachin, but deal with them accordingly. In Chachin Lan is eager to get away from the infuriating woman and makes his way to the palace. He's confronted by his past as a future he is not remotely interested in is laid out before him. Meanwhile Moiraine and Siuan set up in the palace in an ttempt to find noble mother from their lists. Merean also appears and it forces Moiraine to act quickly. After a bit of rooting around Moiraine finds out who Lan really is and things start to happen quickly, resulting in a big showdown and the deaths of multiple people. When the dust has settled Moiraine and Siuan have more information on the Black Ajah, and Moiraine gets a new warder... Let us know what you thought! We're back in the White Tower and the girls, (Moiraine and Siuan in this book) are busy poring over the lists of names captured by the Accepted in the Camps around Tar Valon. They decide to make their own short lists for their own use later... Meanwhile Tamra seems to be reaching out to trsuted Sisters to begin the search for the Dragon Reborn in earnest. All the while they are also preparing for their imminent test to be raised to the shawl. Elaida decides to insert herself in the practice and things get ugly. But eventually Moiraine and Siuan are both called to their test and rasied to the Blue Ajah. They get the big welcome in the Blue ajah quarters, meet the First Selector and are immediately conscripted into their pre-assigedn roles. Moiraine knows she needs to escape the Tower ASAP... We're diving into the prequel and our experiences are... different! We park Rand's journey to pick up with young Lan and Moiraine. Lan encounters some Aiel after Laman has been killed already, while Moiraine and Siuan witness the Foretelling from Gitara Moroso annoucing the birth of The Dragon Reborn on the slopes of Dragonmount. We're back and we have moved on from the Andoran politics! We join Egwene as she assesses her options for the siege of Tar Valon. Gareth Bryne advises attack, but Egwene wants to avoid Aes Sedai on Aes Sedai fighting at all costs.  In the meantime there are various political under currents demanding she address negotiations with the White and Black Towers, as well as the small issue of the massive "weapon" deployed at Shadar Logoth.
