Devoted A devoted Community
2026/09/27
Passage: Acts 2:37-41
Description: What does it really mean to follow Jesus? Is it simply a personal decision, or is there something more? As we begin Devoted: A Life of Following Jesus Together, we return to the beginning of the church in Acts 2 and discover that Jesus doesn’t just call individuals to follow him—he creates a family where we grow, belong, and live out our faith together.
Barnabas Leading Beyond Yourself
2026/09/20
Most days do not feel heroic. We manage ordinary responsibilities and wonder whether our lives are making a lasting difference. Barnabas shows us how God can use or faithfulness to make a radical impact. Join us as we learn to recognise grace, strengthen faithfulness, and refuse to let failure have the final word.
Rich! pt 4: Rich in Time
2026/09/13
Ephesians 5:15–17
We have more labor-saving devices, digital tools, and conveniences than any generation before us, yet many of us feel as though we never have enough time. In Ephesians 5, Paul urges followers of Jesus to walk wisely and make the best use of the time because the days are evil. Jesus illustrated the same danger in a parable about invited guests who let property, work, and family obligations keep them from responding to their king's invitation. Their excuses were not obviously sinful. Their lives were simply too full to make room for the most important invitation they would ever receive.
The Rich Young Ruler was young, but youth did not guarantee that he would respond to Jesus later. His decisive moment came when Jesus said, “Come, follow me.” Join us for the conclusion of Rich! as we consider how to give God not only our money and abilities, but our attention, availability, relationships, service, and days.
Rich!: Part 3: Rich in Treasure
2026/09/06
Luke 12:13–21
Jesus told a story about a successful man whose land produced an abundant harvest. The man’s business had done so well that he decided to build larger barns, store everything for himself, retire early, and enjoy the good life. But his plans ended suddenly when his life was required of him. The tragedy of the Rich Fool was not simply that he died unexpectedly. It was that he spent his life accumulating possessions but never became rich toward God.
The Rich Fool and the Rich Young Ruler had much in common. One never seriously considered eternity until it was too late. The other asked about eternity, but walked away when he learned what following Jesus would require. Both believed their possessions belonged to them, rather than recognizing them as gifts entrusted by God. Join us for part three of Rich! as we discover how regular, proportional, and intentional generosity can loosen the grip of money and help us store up treasure that lasts.
Rich! pt 2: Rich in Talent
2026/08/30
Matthew 25:14–30
Jesus told a parable about three servants entrusted with different amounts of their master’s property. Two servants faithfully put what they had received to work. One buried what had been entrusted to him because fear kept him from acting. In Jesus’ day, a talent was a unit of weight or monetary value. Over time, the word came to describe a person’s abilities or skills. While Jesus’ parable is not primarily about natural ability, it teaches a larger truth: everything we possess has been entrusted to us by God and is meant to be used faithfully.
The Rich Young Ruler was not only wealthy; he was a ruler. He possessed leadership ability, influence, responsibility, and opportunity. Yet none of those gifts were fully surrendered to Jesus. Join us for part two of Rich! as we discover that God does not measure us by what He entrusted to someone else, but by what we do with what He has entrusted to us.
Rich! pt 1: Rich, Young, and Lost
2026/08/23
Luke 18:18–30
A young ruler came to Jesus asking what he needed to do to inherit eternal life. By every visible measure, he was successful. He was moral, influential, financially secure, and still young enough to believe his best years were ahead of him. But Jesus saw the one thing standing between the man and the life he desired. When Jesus invited him to release his possessions and follow, the man walked away sorrowful.
The Rich Young Ruler wanted eternal life as an addition to the life he had already built. Jesus invited him to surrender that life and receive something better. Join us for part one of Rich! as we consider the question: What do you possess that you cannot imagine placing in Jesus’ hands?
Lord, Teach Us
2026/08/16
Focal passage: Luke 11:1-13
Jesus Asked: Do You Love Me?
2026/08/09
When life gets busy, it’s easy to slip into doing things for Jesus while slowly forgetting to be with Him. And when people around us struggle, our instinct is often to fix or correct instead of truly listening and being present. In our final message of Jesus Asked, we’ll explore how Jesus calls us back to something deeper than performance or correction—life with Him that shapes how we live with others. This week will challenge us to prioritize connection before correction, and presence before performance.
Jesus Asked: Has No One Condemned You?
2026/08/02
When shame shows up, most people either hide from it or let it define them. And when others fail, it’s easy to respond with judgment instead of grace. But Jesus meets brokenness in a completely different way—He removes condemnation without ignoring sin, and brings both truth and restoration together. In Week 7 of Jesus Asked, we’ll explore how that same posture of Jesus reshapes the way we see ourselves and the way we respond to others when failure is exposed
2026 Youth Camp Celebration Service
2026/07/26
Whether you were at camp this week or you’re hearing these stories
for the first time, join us as we look back at what God did through our
time together. We’ll hear how Jesus calls us to follow Him and to
invite others to experience the joy of life in His Kingdom. As we recap
the week, we’ll be challenged to see the people around us differently,
to go to those who are often overlooked or hurting, and to live each
day as followers of Jesus who invite others to follow the Good
Shepherd with us.
