In this episode, I have a seat down with Mutcy, A mental health advocate and Co-founder of Men's Hub. We talk about the mental health situation in the country and the milestones we have had thus far. Notably, there has been an increase in awareness of mental health , and gender-based violence, especially in the last two years. We had fun and enlightened on different issues. 

In the last year or so we have seen an emphasis on the importance of community health workers in the public health space especially in the fight against the covid 19 pandemic. Educating and empowering the community on health issues has been proven to be the most effective way of dealing with public health. With a few months to the August 2022 general elections, it's prudent we have conversations concerning leadership and know our responsibilities as citizens. 

Public Participation has been enshrined in the constitution and is an important process that cannot be overlooked. Public participation has been made mandatory by the constitution in policy and law-making processes. The constitution also establishes key institutions for public participation, directs the establishment of statutory bodies, and enacts legislation for effective participation.

We definitely cannot ignore this rapidly growing industry boosted by the growth of the digital space It's a guarantee that they have a role to play in shaping society. Issues of governance, policy, and leadership definitely have an impact on how this industry runs and its survival. I have a seat down with Joseph Obel who is an experienced filmmaker, creative and digital creator and we discuss how the film and entertainment industry has an impact on society.  

With a hotly political season almost on the offing, it's right that we have a conversation about our political leaders and the role they play in inciting violence and uttering vulgar unprintable words. In this episode, we look at some of the remarks that some of the leaders have made. It is actually very unfortunate that they have been so many of them that if I was to sample all of them the whole episode would be filled with their soundbites.It's also important too note that we as citizens have a huge role to play in ensuring we can hold our leaders to account and not cheer them on as they utter words that would bring this country to its knees. We have just celebrated 10 years since we inaugurated the 2010 constitution. Have we made any strides as far as what the constitution writers had envisioned a decade ago? This regime has been accused of failing to implement this constitution and blatantly going against the constitution. In this episode, we briefly look into the process that brought this new constitution and what are some of the gains and shortcomings we have had so far.  

What are the independent offices and commissions as created by the 2010 constitution? It's 10 years since the new Kenyan constitution was promulgated. Have we achieved what the creators envisaged in the constitution and looking at the scorecard is it a ney or a yey.? I look at the independent offices and commissions and what their functions are and what are some of the shortcomings we have had since this crucial offices came to be.
