I thought about not recording this episode on the reversal or the ruling banning abortion but then I saw a tweet from the Prime Minister of Canada that I legitimately needed to take a second to process because I realized I was getting triggered. I recorded this episode because I wanted to share with you my thoughts on how the pandemic for the past 2 years is connected to this same issue and why there is no coincidence that this is happening now. There is healing that we all need to address and it starts with each individual person taking responsibility for that You will see a whole gamut of responses since everyone is on a different part of their journey. Nothing is wrong or right but I do believe that each choice you make to either react or respond will affect you. This is a complex issue no doubt, just as the pandemic is but we need to come at it with a new level of mind and ensure that we are not creating more problems long term for short term avoidance of pain. So I am not going to lie to you; I’ve been challenged lately because I experienced some emotional triggers and trauma from my past that involved my family that shook me to my core and activated some core wounding  I’m also in the process of moving my things across the country so these combinations would have been lethal for me in the past  However, I managed to navigate this to the best of my ability and bounce back quickly (& may be stronger than before) because of a simple mindset shift I made and using a basic law of neuroscience to my advantage instead of a disadvantage  I’m still not through them completely, however, the light is there and I want to create (ie. this podcast) which shows me I am out of survival mode  I am not denying my trauma or anyone else’s - I just wanted to add a fresh perspective that it doesn’t have to take a long time to heal and that moving out of survival mode is not just helpful for you but the people around you too! In order to move at the speed of spirit, I believe an important and often overlooked piece is knowing what you want. This is true on so many levels but I only addressed one of those levels today. On the most basic level, if you know what you want, you are more likely to get it! Duh everyone kind of knows that... But are you actually applying it? Do you know what you want in your career? Business life? Partnership? Friendship? There’s a difference between knowing what you want and then embodying that knowing and taking the actual steps every day towards it.  I also got a little sidetracked talking about pain - but I wanted to share with you the complete picture of pain that I experienced firsthand and then have helped people understand and literally heal themselves just like I did. Yo, so this episode was recorded 3 seconds after I got this download because integrity is a huge value of mine! Spirit does indeed love speed and I needed to learn this lesson many times in the past few weeks in order for it to stick and land For context, on June 3rd I was in White Rock, BC with literally no idea what was next. I am writing this on June 17th from Ontario where I am packing up my things for a permanent move to Vancouver, BC! What the what?  When you’re faced with the complete unknown, you can break down or break through…I had literally no time to think about things and I was forced in a way to pay attention to my feelings and truly trust in them  This experience taught me that trusting in my feelings means I am connected to something greater. I cannot comprehend the BIG purpose of my life in my small brain BUT I can feel expansive feelings and follow those When I do that, I have NEVER been let down. Ever! Everyone is abundant but not everyone experiences that abundance and I believe a large reason is the emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual energy that is required I did not have a good understanding of this so I never experienced true abundance that was consistent  Until I learned this - if your goal is abundance your energy will drop in the beginning OR you will experience chaos OR lose things in your life  Why? Because whatever is not in energetic alignment with abundance has to leave your life in order for you to experience it! And this is where most people get distracted with what they are losing/what is going ‘wrong’. All the momentum built up is lost if your focus on what you want is lost If you are able to stick with it long enough, you break energetic connections to people/places/things in your life and that energy comes back to you! So now you can create what you want! I believe this is the missing link that will help many people on their path towards abundance! Abundance is such a cool thing because you see you are already abundant… Which may or may not trigger you  It used to trigger me because I would be like ‘if that’s true, why am I not experiencing it?’ And the answer was that I was using a very old strategy and expecting new results. I believe that’s called insanity. But there I was giving it my best shot until I experienced pretty intense burnout And then I realized, well there has to be a different way. As soon as I truly opened myself up to that - boom! Someone with the answers showed up in my life to show me how But I got caught up in the old programming and would stop and start like a really old car until one day it finally clicked to me that it’s not about trying harder! I literally got whacked on the head and I feel as though my cells re-arranged to remind me something vital about abundance…you have got to be present! I was just focusing on the outcome/result of what I was doing and completely missed the shelf that hit me on the head Abundance is generated and in order to do that, you need to stay away from stories from your past that may not be in harmony with the idea of abundance. What I learned is that I (& most people) get caught up in ideas from childhood where we learned that we were not valued, useless or whatever is there for you. If we believe those things to be true, we will never generate abundance because it cannot rest upon that foundation.  Our emotional mind or child mind will always get in the way and prevent us from seeing what’s possible.  I have learned that we need to develop our adult mind to guide our child mind and channel all the energy in a healthy way. I mentioned in a previous episode that you will be initiated into abundance and my experience today was literally a part of the initiation! I can officially confirm I got the place that I wanted! And guess what? I knew I was going to - but to have it physically manifested is pretty cool too! When you have a ‘knowing’ something is going to happen - that is another level!  I got there because from the beginning I followed a feeling deep inside of me and unsubscribed from stories that did not serve me!  Every step of the way, I chose to express my authentic self and I recognized that was the best part of this whole experience. I didn’t even realize it but I was unattached to the outcome When I was little, I learned that I could not be my full self - maybe I was rejected or interpreted someone’s response as rejection In this experience, the opposite happened - I was my authentic self and that is actually what opened doors and made the impossible, possible Tune into the episode where I share how this happened! Man oh man, life is full of twists and turns!  In today’s episode, I want to share with you how I handled not knowing where I was going to live after today. Historically, I would panic, freak out and feel emotions like worry, doubt and fear.  Instead, I decided to trade those emotions for something else and as I was going through this process, I learned something important: if you truly desire abundance, you will be initiated into it.  What that means is things may fall apart or not go how you thought, and you have to be prepared for that. It also means that you will have to make small decisions consistently outside of your comfort zone in order to unlearn what has kept you from experiencing abundance every single day!
