Unfortunately toxic parenting is very real and common. Some parents do not understand the trauma they cause their children with the things they say and do. This episode is in no way to shame our parents for how they raised us. They did incredible jobs! I mean look at us...lol. This episode simply addresses the reality of the effects from toxic parenting.

I am so sick of the rise in body shaming. I invited my girl Erica on to discuss her experience with loving herself. What someone's body should look like is a prime example of a social construct. Looks are all up to an individual's opinion and preference. I encourage you all to ignore that social construct and find value in yourself! 

After the first time we discussed Colorism on the show, I had a lot of opinions from different point of views. I brought Marrah on the show to spill some knowledge on Colorism and offer an interesting perspective.
