We are seeing one of the seminal country bands *checks notes* The Byrds?  We cover one of the first country rock albums but first we talk stripping Bride's of Chuckie, Biogiorno from Omaha, and we explore the New Taco Bell Menu. Folks, hop into our carpool of this rich guy podcast and talk to us about the post punk album Entertainment! We get into the political rockers but first we cover old bands putting out new tunes, the theater is too long! (like a gigante bean!) and getting tickets at the sphere.    Finally we talk scary character strip shows and billy bass.   We talk the best ! in music! Then we become the best gang of four podcast as we talk fixing and shopping.  Next week, we have the Byrds (with Graham Parsons) talking country on Sweetheart of the Rodeo.   Then 

You'll never guess which one of us is eating more tinned fish?!?!? We talk cowboy movies, but we can hardly hear what we are saying due to all the licorice (not really) behind me. We cover the best MN albums, splitting food, and of course we check out strip club reviews.    Then we talk about the worst the Velvet Underground album we have heard yet so we cleanse the palate with Bringing Down the Horse and it f*****g rips. Great job Wallflowers.  Next week, Entertainment! by Gang of Four. It's fun! 

Just in case you think we aren't 4 white guys in their 40s, we start the episode talking about Baywatch! Then we talk a 90's alternative compiltion album, Aaron has a day he would like to repeat, and Russ has some radical ideas about the THEATER!   Then we talk about the history of Hip Hop Soul and get into this Puff Daddy produced album.    Next week we are talking about the Velvet Underground and White Heat and White Light.  Don't listen if you are a fan.

PLEASE STOP SENDING VALENTINES FLOWERS OVER A GROUP TEXT CHAIN!   We are talking Hor d ouvres with puff pastries and late 2000's country with Kacey Musgraves and her cosmic cowboy hit Golden Hour. We vibe to this album and talk about our figure skating songs. Then we go skiing with Russell in college and get stressed about the basics of valentines.  Then we talk some country and albums not recorded in studio. Next week we are talking Hip Hop soul with the Queen Mary J. Blige and What's the 411.    

We are talking about the last Kanye album on the list and it is a tough listen so we eventually talk Hootie and the Blowfish. We talk singing songs at the retirement home, Rosie's best day ever at Glowfari, and Russell meets a guy who is smart enough to realize how smart Russell is.    Then we have the Vegas awards and we talk about this Kanye album that probably should have been a tip off that something was up.  Then we get so depressed that we listen to some Hootie as a palate cleanser.  Next week we are talking Kacey Musgrave and Golden Hour.  

We finally talk about Tarzan boy, a bit about the Iowa sports season, and we do a GREAT job talking about the voicemail! Aaron tells a crazy story about getting a beer, we talk puzzle styles, and Russell tells us his crazy airplane movie watching habits. Then we talk about the hot move of the summer and the world of show choir.  Then we talk about one of the great American songwriters who makes you realize that America ain't so great! Little Rosie is here to help us peel away all the layers that make up the onion of this album, and of course we figure out the best baseball movie ever.    Next week we talk Yeezus and then cleanse the palate with some Hootie!      

Wow. I was just looking at the last couple of Months and we have missed a lot of episodes. I'm not going to lie, I was in London, so this is my fault.  This is Feb 3rd, so it is the day the music died, and this podcast always celebrates this solemn day with a respectful discussion. We talk about flavor savers (time is a flat circle), and then I play a bad parody song and then drop the hammer Russ style with a good one.  This is all of the episode I listened t,o but I started with a Big Johnson joke so I know this is a great ep.    Next Week: Are you Randy baby? Randy Newman!     I'm a "new man" because I have decided to change my life.           I am leaving my wife and kids.                 Does that make you, Randy?               If so, give me a call, because I am so lonely.                  Just like when I gave money to my friend Lee.  Then he was hardly Friendly.... he never paid me back!  Now I am friendless.               Because I am hanging out with my friend Les. He is great, much better than Lee.   But my friend Les changed his last name when he married the old Moore widow..... Now Les is Moore. 

LIVE FROM VEGAS..... We sat in a hotel room and touched fingers and talked about an album that we did not give enough time to. We talk hillybillys in vegas, pick up basketball in vegas, and playing video craps in vegas. We talk about falling in love with the women on the cards, hotel lobby late nights, and feeding the dog.  Then we break down the California punk Band The Minutemen and we sample a few songs off of the album because we had to get to the buffet.  Next week we talk about Randy Newman Sail Away which has 100% chance of us talking about Majoir League.

This episode is like an escape room for your mind as we become the best Pavement podcast when we talk about their thirsd album Wowee Zowee. We are getting this done early to get to our puzzles, but first, we talk about Savannah Bananas and then go through the best songs of 1997 for a depressing reason.  Then we talk records for the holidays and finally we discuss the realities of nosehairs.  Then we get into the album that is for people who love pavement. It's a zig when the record companies wanted them to zag.    Next week, the Minutemen with Double Nickels and we are off to vegas!
