In a small town in Indiana, a long-abandoned structure is seen lurking in the woods. It has become known as The Witches Castle, due to the ruins left behind. It's been rumored that the "castle" was home to a coven of witches that was driven out in the 19th century. In fact, the site wasn't built until the 1940s when it was a beautiful home known as Mistletoe Falls. Sometime after, the home switched hands & was burnt to the ground in retaliation by the new owner's stepson. After changing hands a 3rd time, in 1992 the murdered body of a teenage girl was left at the property. That owner finally sold the land a year later. It has since been a hotspot for trespassers that claim its haunted. The property once again is currently for sale! It's been all over the recent news: "Botched execution of the 2nd woman in Tennessee history to be put to death." So much focus on the bungled death sentence of a woman who committed murder 30 years ago but very little on the innocent, young life she took and the mother of that innocent life lost who is still grieving. Tonight we will be talking about the convicted murderer Christa Pike, but more of our focus will be on her victim, then 19 year old Colleen Slemmer, who Pike killed all because she thought Colleen wanted her boyfriend. After tonight's episode, do you think justice should be served and if so, what does that justice look like to you?   'Salem's Secret' by Peter Gundry   Merchandise: https://dfwtopodcast.creator-spring.com/   Sponsored by:   Dietsmoke.com - use promo code DFWTO for 50% off your purchase Nourish - usenourish.com #NourishAffiliate Betterhelp: Visit betterhelp.com/dfwto to get 10% off when you sign up for your first month.

So much mystery has surrounded the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base since it's inception. Founded on land dating back to 1841 where the Arnold Family lived to 1905 when the Wright Brothers test flew Wright Flyer III, the land was officially established as the Air Force Base during World War I. Since then to now, there have been accounts of UFOs reported in Project Blue Book, aliens being kept in the infamous Hanger 18 and paranormal activity mostly in the National Museum of the US Air Force where 4 hangers of aircrafts have so much death surrounding them, from war to even a presidential assassination. Tonight we will talk about all of that including the time the show Ghost Hunters was given Pentagon clearance to investigate! We hope you guys enjoyed this episode filled with aliens, UFOs & ghosts, oh my!

Bigfoot is by far the most popular cryptid. From the real life Gigantopithecus to the supposed elusive Sasquatch, Bigfoot has fascinated many all over the world (listen to episode 38, our OG Bigfoot episode). Tonight though, we are specifically discussing multiple Bigfoot sightings in our home state of Ohio this past spring over multiple days: nicknamed "The Ohio Flap of 2026," evidence reported was footprints & audio recordings. If believed to be true, cryptozoologists theorized that this unusual swathe of sightings were due to weather changes in northern Ohio this year; from a harsh winter to a rapid spring thaw. We hope you guys enjoy tonight & let us know if you believe. If so, have you witnessed Bigfoot or know someone who has?   'Salem's Secret' by Peter Gundry   Merchandise: https://dfwtopodcast.creator-spring.com/   Sponsored by:   Dietsmoke.com - use promo code DFWTO for 50% off your purchase Nourish - usenourish.com #NourishAffiliate Betterhelp: Visit betterhelp.com/dfwto to get 10% off when you sign up for your first month.

A strange story of identical twins that had an almost supernatural connection that led to one of them dying under very mysterious circumstances so the other could live. Tonight we are discussing the Silent Twins, June and Jennifer Gibbons. Born to Caribbean parents and raised in the UK, both girls were subjected to bullying due to racism at an all white school and their speech impediment as well as undiagnosed mental illness. Jennifer unfortunately passed at age 29 of reportedly myocarditis. June was devastated but has lived a normal life since and no longer requires hospitalization. A dramatization of their story, the movie The Silent Twins, is available to watch Netflix.

A case that shook Becky and Casper's hometown 20 years ago this month. Trigger warning as we will be discussing the death of a child. Marcus Fiesel was an adorable special needs 3 year old that the system failed. After entering an adoption agency, Marcus was fostered by Liz and David Carroll who ultimately murdered him and tried to lie about it before a live-in girlfriend exposed them. Tonight we will be discussing this case that rocked Cincinnati Ohio in late summer 2006 as well as other current events in true crime. Tonight is a haunted location episode that we were fairly unfamiliar with. The Great Seattle Fire of 1889 caused complete devastation to 25 city blocks leaving nothing left. In an effort to rebuild, Seattle was essentially built on top of itself with the old town left underneath. Once the new Seattle was done, the underground became a den of drugs & illegal activity. After the underground was shut off and later reopened for tours, a plethora of paranormal activity had been festering for years ready to unleash on unsuspecting visitors. We will be discussing those experiences along with the history of the fire & the city. Would you visit underground Seattle?   'Salem's Secret' by Peter Gundry   Merchandise: https://dfwtopodcast.creator-spring.com/   Sponsored by:   Dietsmoke.com - use promo code DFWTO for 50% off your purchase Nourish - usenourish.com #NourishAffiliate Betterhelp: Visit betterhelp.com/dfwto to get 10% off when you sign up for your first month.

So last week we talked about one of 2 highest grossing horror films in the country and tonight we're talking about the other: Obsession, written and directed by Curry Barker, starring Inde Navarrette as Nikki and Michael Johnston as Bear. The movie follows Bear who uses a magical One Wish Willow to make Nikki, his crush, fall in love with him leading to deadly, obsessive consequences. This movie was deeply triggering for some, but also a strangely entertaining and supernatural thrill ride. All the spoilers in this episode so if you haven't watched yet, Obsession is currently streaming on Peacock.
