Following Jesus will cost us something-our comfort, our possessions, our preferences, and ultimately our claim to live for ourselves. In Part 3 of Where Your Treasure Is, we look at what it means to place our treasure in Christ by living sacrificially, giving generously, serving faithfully, and embracing our place in the body of Christ. True discipleship isn’t just about what we believe, it’s about what we’re willing to surrender to follow Jesus.Pursuit Church on Social Media:facebook: https://www.facebook.com/PursuitChurchDenver/?ref=bookmarksinstagram: https://www.instagram.com/pursuit_church/Pursuit Worship on Social Media:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Pursuit-Worship-671274439695803/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/pursuit.worship/

Division can quietly turn brothers and sisters into opponents, but Jesus calls His Church to something greater: unity. In this message, we confront the attitudes that divide us and rediscover what it means to be one body in Christ. Our prayer is that God would use this message in your life! Welcome to part one of our new series "The Church" with Pastor Taylor! This series will walk us through what the church is supposed to be and who we are supposed to be as the church body. This week we learned about how leaning on our own understanding limits us and keeps us from the freedom God has for us. Our prayer is that this message will help you to take that step to fully trust in the Lord, leaving your understanding behind. Welcome to Pursuit church, located in Denver, NC. Today's message comes out of the heart of the book of Esther. We may not know what tomorrow holds, or what next week holds, but we serve a God who knows all, and loves us.Pursuit Church on Social Media:facebook: https://www.facebook.com/PursuitChurchDenver/?ref=bookmarksinstagram: https://www.instagram.com/pursuit_church/Pursuit Worship on Social Media:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Pursuit-Worship-671274439695803/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/pursuit.worship/

What if the faith Jesus calls us to isn't little and passive, but invasive? The mustard seed in Mark 9 reminds us that something small can become something unstoppable when it's alive and planted in the right place. What would happen if your faith stopped staying contained and started invading every area of your life? This week we had the privilege to hear from one of our elders, Mark Kale. He spoke on the importance of being intentional with our focus during the day and night. What ever we focus on our life reflects, as leaders, parents, bosses, role models, our focus must be set on God so that the course of our lives reflect Him to those around us. Welcome to the final message in our Joshua series. The heart of this message comes from Joshua's farewell address in the last part of the book of Joshua. It's most famous for "choose this day whom you'll serve, but as for me and my house, we're going to serve the Lord" - the question for all of us is, who will we choose to serve? Will we rid ourselves of the idols in our lives & hearts, and turn to Christ? It may not always be easy, but it'l most certainly be worth it. What do you do when God gives you a promise but your circumstances don't seem to change? This message dives into scripture to discover what it means to trust the Lord in the space between His instruction and His fulfillment. We pray this message teaches you how faith, obedience, and perseverance position us to see God do what only He can do. Sometimes God's strategy won't make sense to us but obedience isn't about understanding, it's about trusting. If His instruction made sense there is little need for faith. Our prayer is that this message encourages your walk with Him and helps you learn to trust Him fully. In this weeks message, Pastor John speaks on the importance of leaving a legacy of faith for the coming generations. As Joshua left the stones to be a witness to Gods provision and faithfulness, we too must testify to our families and those around us about what God has done. Our prayer is that this message would encourage you to share Gods goodness with the next generation.
