What If This Doesn’t Need Healing? Neurodivergence & Learning What to Heal vs. Accept
2026/09/28
What if some of the things you’ve spent years trying to heal were never actually broken?
If you’re neurodivergent, it can be incredibly easy to look at the things that seem harder for you — staying consistent, regulating your emotions, maintaining routines, navigating relationships, slowing down, focusing, or simply functioning the way everyone else seems to — and decide that you must not be trying hard enough.
But sometimes healing isn’t about trying harder.
Sometimes it’s about finally understanding yourself well enough to recognize the difference between something that needs healing, something that needs support or accommodation, and something that simply needs acceptance.
In this episode of Jotindi: Journey to the Inner Divine, host Mariah Aurora explores what healing can look like when your brain works a little differently.
Drawing from her own experience being diagnosed with ADHD in adulthood, Mariah shares how understanding her neurodivergence changed the way she looked at missed opportunities, emotional intensity, relationships, meditation, medication, self-acceptance, and the parts of herself she spent years believing she needed to “fix.”
We also explore research on women diagnosed later in life with ADHD and autism, the emotional impact of spending years feeling different without understanding why, masking and neurotypical expectations, AuDHD, and why diagnosis can bring relief and self-understanding while still leaving room for grief, frustration, and very real challenges.
In this episode, we talk about:
• Why late-diagnosed neurodivergent women may internalize their struggles as personal failures
• The complicated relationship between neurodivergence, identity, and self-acceptance
• Why you don’t have to call your neurodivergence a “superpower” to love yourself
• How healing culture can unintentionally turn consistency, routines, and certain practices into measures of how “good” you are at healing
• Adapting healing practices without abandoning the intention behind them• The difference between healing, accommodation, treatment, and acceptance
• Why accepting a trait doesn’t mean excusing behaviors that hurt you or other people
• Depression and mental-health support within the neurodivergent community
• Why healing does not mean becoming neurotypical
Because you can accept yourself and still want to grow.
You can accommodate yourself and challenge yourself.
You can seek treatment without believing you’re broken.
And you can heal the shame surrounding a trait while still working on how it affects your life and relationships.
Your neurotype isn’t the “before” picture, and neurotypicality isn’t the “after.”
Healing has never been about becoming somebody else. It’s about building a relationship with yourself strong enough that when life gets hard, you refuse to abandon yourself.

When Peace Doesn't Feel Peaceful
2026/09/21
You spent years wishing things would just calm down.
You wanted less drama. Less stress. Less uncertainty. You wanted to finally feel safe, settled, and at peace.
So… why does peace sometimes feel so damn uncomfortable when you finally get it?
In this episode of Jotindi: Journey to the Inner Divine, host Mariah Aurora explores what can happen when you've spent so much time living with chaos, uncertainty, or constant activation that intensity begins to feel normal—and quiet starts to feel a whole lot like boredom.
I know this one personally.
There was a time in my life when a phone notification could make my heart drop. I lived in a state of uncertainty that kept my body constantly activated, and even though I desperately wanted peace, I also became accustomed to the intensity.
But here's something I've learned since then:
Healing doesn't require you to become someone who doesn't crave intensity.
Maybe you love adventure. Novelty. Competition. Challenge. Travel. Creativity. Big goals.
Dancing until 2 a.m. Maybe sitting peacefully on your couch every Saturday for the rest of your life sounds less like enlightenment and more like your own personal hell.
That's okay.
The question isn't necessarily, “Why can't I just be satisfied with peace?”
A better question might be:
What am I actually craving—and how can I give myself that without recreating the things that hurt me?
In this episode, we're exploring the surprisingly blurry line between peace and boredom, why we may unconsciously create problems when life gets too quiet, and what happens when we've learned to associate chaos with excitement, purpose, love, productivity, or simply feeling alive.
We'll also talk about the meanings we assign to stillness.
Does nothing happening mean you're wasting your life?
Does a stable relationship mean you've lost the spark?
Does rest mean you're lazy?
Does feeling restless mean something about your life needs to change?
Or… do you just need to go do something interesting?
Because boredom isn't a moral failure, and wanting stimulation doesn't mean you're doing healing wrong.
Sometimes the deeper work is learning to sit with the discomfort long enough to ask what's actually underneath it.
Am I lonely?
Understimulated?
Missing creativity?
Craving connection?
Do I need a challenge?
Do I need something to look forward to?
Or am I so accustomed to solving problems that I don't quite know who I am when there's nothing left to fix?
Peace was never supposed to mean a life where nothing happens.
You can build a life that's safe and exciting. Stable and adventurous. Peaceful and deeply stimulating.
You can have somewhere soft to land and still go out into the world and do wild shit.
Because maybe healing isn't learning to need less from life.
Maybe it's learning how to give yourself what you need without recreating the things that hurt you.

Your Body Is Talking to You. Are You Listening?
2026/09/14
Have you ever been told to “trust your gut” or “listen to your intuition” and thought… okay, but HOW?
What if you’ve spent so many years overriding your feelings, ignoring your needs, pushing through discomfort, or doing what you thought you were supposed to do that you genuinely don’t know what your inner voice sounds like anymore?
Maybe the answer isn’t to listen harder.
Maybe it’s to start noticing.
In this episode of Jotindi: Journey to the Inner Divine, host Mariah Aurora introduces The Sensory Healing Method—a way of reconnecting with yourself by becoming more aware of the information you’re already receiving through your senses, body, emotions, and lived experience.
Because your body isn’t just a meat suit carrying your soul around while you’re here.
Your senses are constantly taking in information. Your body responds to that information through sensations like tension, relaxation, butterflies, nausea, changes in breathing, warmth, expansion, contraction, and countless other subtle signals.
But those signals aren't necessarily instructions.
A tight chest doesn't automatically mean “NO.” Butterflies don't universally mean “YES.” Your body has its own language, and learning that language requires curiosity, reflection, and discernment.
In this episode, we explore how to begin recognizing your personal patterns, why intuition may sometimes be information your conscious mind hasn't fully processed yet, and how to stop treating every feeling as something that needs to be immediately acted upon or explained.
You'll also discover another side of Sensory Healing: your senses don't only help you interpret your experience—they can help you create it.
The artwork you surround yourself with. The music that makes something inside you come alive. The scent that immediately comforts you. The food you actually slow down enough to taste. The ridiculously soft blanket that makes your entire body relax.
These aren't necessarily insignificant details.
They're part of your experience of being alive.
And the more you learn about what makes you contract, soften, light up, relax, feel energized, or feel deeply at home within yourself, the more information you have to intentionally create a life that feels like yours.
You'll leave this episode with a simple experiment you can begin tomorrow—no complicated spiritual practice required. Just notice. Check in. Collect information. And at the end of the day, look for the patterns.
Because maybe your Inner Oracle hasn't stopped speaking.
Maybe she's been whispering through a language you're only beginning to remember.
And the whisper doesn't necessarily need to get louder.
You just become better at hearing it.

Put It Into Practice: Learning to Trust the Little Voice Inside
2026/09/07
What happens when you hear that little voice inside… and you don’t listen?
After spending the last few episodes talking about the Healing ARC, your Inner Oracle, conditioning, and learning to recognize the different voices influencing your decisions, life decided it was time for me to put everything I’ve been teaching into practice.
Cool. Pop quiz.
This week, I’m sharing the very real and very recent story of losing one of my chickens, Dodge—and the grief, guilt, second-guessing, and spiritual questions that followed.
Before something happened that may have contributed to her decline, I had an instinct about what I should do. I considered it, weighed it against the information I had at the time…and ultimately chose something else.
Afterward, it was almost impossible not to wonder:
What if I had listened?
Could I have prevented what happened?
Did I fail to trust myself?
And how do you forgive yourself when there really IS something you wish you had done differently?
In this episode of Jotindi: Journey to the Inner Divine, we’re talking about what self-trust actually looks like when life gets messy. Not when you follow your intuition and everything magically works out—but when you make a decision you regret, don't get the outcome you wanted, and have to figure out how to stay in relationship with yourself anyway.
We’ll explore hindsight and the alternate timelines we create in our minds, the difference between taking responsibility and punishing ourselves, what guilt may actually be trying to teach us, and why self-forgiveness doesn’t require pretending we did everything perfectly.
I’m also sharing some of the spiritual questions Dodge’s death brought up for me—including a healing spell jar that didn’t create the outcome I hoped for, my complicated feelings about miracles, and the uncomfortable realization that spirituality can sometimes become another way we try to control the uncontrollable.
Because maybe spiritual growth isn’t about becoming so connected that you never make another mistake.
Maybe self-trust is knowing that when you do, you won’t abandon yourself because of it.
If this episode brings up something you’re still carrying—something you did, didn’t do, or wish you could go back and change—my forgiveness ebook and workbook can help you begin working through it with more compassion, understanding, and intention.

The Voices Behind Your Choices: How Fear, Conditioning & Intuition Shape Your Decisions
2026/08/31
Have you ever been making a decision and thought, “I genuinely have no idea if this is my intuition, my fear, or something I’ve just been taught to believe?”
You’re definitely not alone.
In this episode, host Mariah Aurora explores the different inner influences that can shape our decisions — particularly fear, conditioning, and what Mariah calls the Inner Oracle.
Fear can show up as rapid-fire “what ifs.” Conditioning can be even trickier because eventually someone else’s beliefs can start sounding exactly like your own. And your Inner Oracle? She tends to sound quieter, simpler, and much more persistent.
But this episode isn’t about giving you a perfect formula for identifying the “right” voice every time.
It’s about something deeper: discernment.
Mariah explores how childhood experiences can turn into beliefs that quietly run our adult lives, why two people can experience very similar circumstances and walk away with completely different conclusions, and how we can start becoming curious about the voices influencing our choices instead of blindly reacting to them.
You’ll also hear why fear and trauma responses aren’t necessarily something to silence, what it really means to trust yourself, and why making the “right” decision may be far less important than knowing you can stay with yourself through whatever happens next.
In this episode, you’ll explore:
How fear, conditioning, and intuition can feel different
Why conditioning is so difficult to recognize once we’ve internalized it
How childhood experiences can quietly shape adult relationships and decisions
Why fear and trauma responses deserve curiosity instead of immediate dismissal
The difference between reacting and responding
Why self-trust doesn’t mean always knowing the right answer
How curiosity becomes the beginning of discernment
The deeper connection between discernment, the Healing Arc, and your Inner Oracle
One question to carry with you this week:
Who’s talking right now?
When a thought, fear, urge, or knowing comes up, you don’t have to immediately decide whether it’s right or wrong.
Get curious.
What is this voice trying to protect? Is this something I learned? Is this fear imagining what could happen?Or is something quieter trying to get my attention?

You Weren't Born Doubting Yourself: How We Learn to Stop Trusting Ourselves
2026/08/24
You Weren't Born Doubting Yourself
How We Learn to Stop Trusting Ourselves
Part 3 of an ongoing series exploring the Healing Arc, the Inner Oracle, and how we learn to trust ourselves again. If you're new here, you can absolutely listen to this episode on its own, but you'll get even more out of it by also checking out the previous episodes on the Healing Arc and the Inner Oracle.
Why do so many of us struggle to trust ourselves?
Why do we second-guess our decisions, ignore our intuition, or constantly worry about disappointing other people?
What if those patterns aren't personality traits at all?
What if they're survival strategies we learned long ago?
In this episode of Jotindi: Journey to the Inner Divine (Jotindi), host Mariah Aurora explores how self-trust is gradually shaped throughout childhood—not because children choose to abandon themselves, but because they learn how to adapt in order to feel safe, loved, and accepted.
Through personal stories, relatable examples, and compassionate reflection, Mariah explains how many of the beliefs that keep us stuck today once served an important purpose. Healing isn't about blaming our past or pretending it didn't happen. It's about becoming curious enough to ask where those beliefs came from and deciding whether they still belong in our lives today.
Most importantly, this episode offers hope. If these patterns were learned, they can also be unlearned. The journey back to yourself begins with awareness.
In this episode, you'll discover:
Why children aren't born doubting themselves.
How everyday experiences shape our beliefs about who we are.
The difference between survival strategies and healthy adult choices.
Why self-abandonment is often the result of childhood adaptation—not personal failure.
How awareness becomes the first step toward rebuilding self-trust.
Why healing isn't about becoming someone new—it's about remembering who you've been underneath the fear all along.

A Question to Take With You
This week, instead of asking yourself,
"What's wrong with me?"
Try asking,
"Where did I learn that?"
You might be surprised how many of the beliefs you've been carrying aren't actually yours.

You weren't born doubting yourself.
You learned to.
And what can be learned...
Can also be unlearned.

The Little Voice Inside: How to Regain Trust in Yourself
2026/08/17
The Little Voice Inside
What Is Your Inner Oracle... and Why Have You Stopped Hearing Her?
Part 2 of an ongoing series exploring the Healing Arc, the Inner Oracle, and how we learn to trust ourselves again.
Have you ever had a moment where something inside you whispered, "Don't do it," but you ignored it anyway?
Maybe it was a relationship that looked perfect on paper but never felt quite right. Maybe it was a job, a decision, or even something as simple as taking a different route home. Whatever it was, you've probably looked back at some point and thought:
"I knew it."
In this episode of Jotindi: Journey to the Inner Divine (Jotindi), host Mariah Aurora explores that quiet inner voice many of us have experienced—but few of us have stopped to understand.
Some people call it intuition. Others call it a gut feeling, divine guidance, their higher self, or simply instinct. Whatever language resonates with you, Mariah invites you to look beyond the label and become curious about the experience itself.
Together, you'll explore why so many of us stop trusting ourselves, how fear, conditioning, trauma, and other people's expectations can drown out our inner knowing, and why healing isn't about finding something you've lost—it's about rebuilding a relationship with something that has been with you all along.
This episode also introduces one of the foundational concepts behind Mariah's work: the Inner Oracle—the deepest part of yourself that continues to guide you, even when life gets loud.
In this episode, you'll discover:
Why so many people stop trusting themselves.
The common experiences that point to your Inner Oracle.
Why different people have different explanations for the same inner knowing.
How fear, people-pleasing, and conditioning can make your own voice harder to hear.
The connection between the Healing Arc and rebuilding self-trust.
Why healing isn't about becoming someone new—it's about hearing yourself again.

This week, don't worry about making perfect decisions.
Instead, simply notice.
Notice the moments when that little voice speaks up.
Notice the moments when you immediately talk yourself out of it.

"What has been speaking louder than my Inner Oracle?"
You might be surprised by the answer.

The 4 Stages Of Healing: Understand Where You Are, Why You Feel Stuck, and What to Do Next
2026/08/10
Part 1 of an ongoing series exploring the Healing Arc, the Inner Oracle, and how we learn to trust ourselves again.
Have you ever looked back at a decision from your past and wondered, "Why didn't I know better?"
What if the answer isn't that you failed... but that you simply didn't have access to the deeper truth yet?
In this episode, we're revisiting one of the most important frameworks I've ever shared on the podcast: The Healing Arc. Over the past year, my understanding of this framework has deepened through my own healing journey, conversations with my therapist, and the incredible women I've had the privilege of working with.
The Healing Arc isn't a personality test or a grading system. It's a map.
A map that helps you understand where you are in your healing journey, why you may feel stuck, and what your next step might be.
Together, we'll explore the four stages of healing:
✨ Awaken – recognizing that something has to change and taking responsibility for your healing.
✨ Release – understanding your emotional patterns, questioning old beliefs, and letting go of what no longer serves you.
✨ Realign – practicing new ways of thinking, feeling, and living while rebuilding trust in yourself.
✨ Empower – integrating everything you've learned so healing becomes the way you live, not just something you do.
We'll also talk about why healing isn't a straight line, why different areas of your life can be in different stages at the same time, and why revisiting old patterns doesn't mean you've failed—it often means you've grown.
Finally, I'll introduce a concept that's becoming the heart of my work: The Inner Oracle. You'll get a glimpse into what it is, why it matters, and how the Healing Arc is ultimately about rebuilding your relationship with the deepest, wisest part of yourself.
In this episode, you'll learn:
Why looking back with compassion changes everything.
The four stages of the Healing Arc and how to identify where you are today.
Why awareness comes before lasting change.
How healing builds emotional capacity and self-trust over time.
Why healing is more like a spiral staircase than a straight line.
How the Healing Arc prepares you to reconnect with your Inner Oracle.

2026/08/03

Maybe you've spent so many years trying to be the "good" daughter, partner, mother, employee, or friend that somewhere along the way you lost touch with your own voice.

You'll learn why your emotions aren't something to fear or fix, but valuable information that can guide you back to yourself.

Why Your Best Ideas Come When You Stop Looking for Them
2026/07/27
Why Your Best Ideas Come When You Stop Looking for Them
Have you ever noticed that your best ideas show up when you're in the shower, walking the dog,
folding laundry, or watching the birds outside your window?
Why is it that clarity seems to arrive the moment we stop chasing it?
In this episode of Jotindi: Journey to the Inner Divine, I share a surprising breakthrough that happened after unplugging for a week on vacation—and how it completely changed the way I think about creativity, intuition, healing, and personal growth.
Together, we'll explore why our biggest breakthroughs often aren't the result of working harder, consuming more information, or forcing an answer. Instead, they emerge when we create enough space for everything we've already learned to become wisdom.
Inside this episode, we talk about:
✨ Why your brain needs periods of stillness to connect the dots
✨ The difference between collecting information and integrating wisdom
✨ How constant stimulation can drown out your own inner guidance
✨ The surprising overlap between neuroscience, intuition, and spiritual practice
✨ Why your greatest breakthroughs may already be forming beneath the surface
✨ Simple ways to create more space in your daily life without adding another task to your to-do list
This isn't an invitation to stop learning.
It's an invitation to stop long enough to hear yourself.
This week, instead of asking, "What else do I need to do?" try asking, "Where can I create a little more room?"
You might be surprised by what you've known all along.

Do You Feel Behind in Life? Let's Talk About That.
2026/07/20
Do You Feel Behind in Life? Let's Talk About That.
If you've ever looked at your life and felt that quiet, persistent ache of "I should be further along by now" — this episode was made for you.
On the occasion of turning 40, I'm getting really honest about something I think so many of us carry but don't talk about enough: the feeling of being behind. Where it comes from, why it follows us even when our circumstances change, and most importantly — what we can do about it.
In this episode we cover:
What "feeling behind" actually is and where it really comes from
Why your winding, unexpected path was never the wrong path
How comparison is stealing your peace — and how to take it back
Why some of us have had a genuinely harder road (hello, neurodiversity)
The difference between acceptance and giving up
What divine timing actually means — and what it doesn't
Tools to help you move forward: vision boards, manifesting, healing root wounds, and finding the courage to take the leap
This episode is for you if:
You constantly compare your life to others and come up feeling like you're falling short
You've hit milestones and still felt like it wasn't enough

I Thought I Healed This Already: Why Old Patterns Return
2026/07/13
In this episode of Jotindi: Journey to the Inner Divine, we're exploring what people really mean when they say healing isn't linear—and why recurring challenges don't automatically mean you're stuck.
We'll talk about the difference between repeating a pattern and revisiting a lesson, why healing happens in layers, and how to recognize growth even when life feels familiar.
You'll learn why the absence of problems isn't the best measure of healing, how to recognize the signs that you're actually making progress, and why the universe may sometimes place familiar situations in your path—not to punish you, but to help you see how far you've come.
In this episode, we explore:
• Why healing often feels like you're taking two steps forward and one step back
• The difference between repeating a pattern and revisiting a lesson
• Why old wounds, triggers, and challenges seem to resurface
• How healing happens in layers rather than all at once
• Why recurring struggles don't automatically mean you've failed
• A new way to measure healing and personal growth
• How to respond when an old wound shows up again
If you've ever felt discouraged because a familiar challenge came back into your life, this episode will help you see your journey through a completely different lens.
Remember: The same problem showing up doesn't mean you're the same person facing it.

How to Reclaim Your Power and Stop Living in the Past: Erasing the Victm Mentality
2026/07/06
Have you ever felt like the world was working against you? Like no matter how hard you tried, things just kept going wrong? Or maybe you've found yourself saying "when it rains, it pours" more times than you can count?
If any of that resonates — this episode is for you. And I say that with so much love.
In this episode, I'm getting a little more direct than usual, because this topic is close to my heart. I've lived it. I've watched people I love live it. And I know firsthand how much it can quietly steal from your life — your relationships, your dreams, your sense of self.
We're talking about the difference between being a victim and holding a victim mentality. And friend, that distinction might just change everything for you.
What we cover in this episode:
• The important difference between being a victim and operating with a victim mentality — and why you can be both at the same time
• Where the victim mentality actually comes from (hint: it's not a character flaw — it's a conditioned response)
• Why this mindset is so hard to let go of, even when we know it's hurting us
• The role of Tony Robbins' 6 Basic Human Needs in understanding why we hold on to pain
• The difference between blame and responsibility — and why this distinction is everything
• 6 practical steps to begin shifting out of the victim mentality and back into your personal power
• What to say when someone you love is stuck in this pattern
Key takeaways:
There is no shame in being a victim. What happened to you was real. Your pain is valid. And at the same time — staying in the story of what happened is costing you something.
The victim mentality often develops as a survival response to ongoing trauma, emotional abuse, or repeated helplessness. It's not a personality flaw. It's a pattern — and patterns can be changed.
Responsibility is not the same as blame. Nobody else is coming to fix this for you. And that's actually good news — because it means the power to heal is already in your hands.
The 6 steps to shifting out of victim mentality: recognize the pattern, take responsibility, start making choices, shift the narrative, seek trauma-informed support, and set firm boundaries.

One Year Later: 10 Lessons from the Journey to the Inner Divine
2026/06/29
One Year Later: 7 Lessons from the Journey to the Inner Divine
One year ago, I pressed record on the very first episode of Jotindi with nothing but an idea, a desire to serve, and a commitment to show up.
Fifty-two episodes later, I've learned something surprising: transformation rarely happens in the dramatic moments. It happens in the quiet decisions. The ordinary days. The moments when you choose to keep going even when no one is watching.
In this special anniversary episode, I'm sharing seven of the most powerful lessons I've learned through a year of creating, healing, growing, and showing up for a vision before there was any guarantee it would succeed.
Inside this episode, we explore:
✨ The difference between forcing yourself and challenging yourself to stay aligned with your values
✨ How small, consistent actions compound into life-changing breakthroughs
✨ Why most people quit right before the magic happens—and how to recognize when you're in the "danger zone"
✨ Why healing isn't about feeling good all the time and how accepting difficult emotions can set you free
✨ How transformation happens when you stop trying to fix yourself and start becoming more fully yourself
✨ Why healing doesn't require an audience and the sacred power of doing the work in private
✨ The life-changing impact of asking for help and allowing yourself to be supported
This episode is for anyone who feels tired, discouraged, invisible, or tempted to give up on something that matters deeply to them.
If you're in a season where the results aren't visible yet, where you're questioning whether your efforts are making a difference, I hope these lessons remind you that growth is often happening beneath the surface long before it appears in the physical world.
You don't have to be perfect.
You don't have to have it all figured out.
You just have to keep showing up.
Because sometimes the most sacred thing you can do is honor a commitment to yourself—especially when no one else can see what you're building.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Here's to another year of healing, growth, and remembering the divine wisdom that already lives within you.

When You Know, You Know: The Art of Listening to Your Inner Wisdom
2026/06/22
What if the guidance you've been searching for has been inside you all along?
In this episode of Jotindi: Journey to the Inner Divine, we explore the true nature of intuition, why so many of us lose touch with it, and how to reconnect with the quiet inner wisdom that has been guiding us all along.
Whether you call it intuition, inner guidance, your higher self, gut instinct, or divine wisdom, that inner voice exists for a reason. The challenge isn't that it isn't speaking—the challenge is learning how to hear it.
Together we'll explore:
What intuition really is and how it communicates with us
Why highly sensitive people often develop strong intuitive abilities
The surprising connection between intuition and nervous system awareness
What happens when we repeatedly ignore our inner knowing
How people-pleasing and self-doubt disconnect us from ourselves
Practical tools to strengthen your intuition and self-trust
Common obstacles like fear, overthinking, and the inner critic
Why reconnecting with your intuition is a powerful act of healing
You'll also learn simple practices you can begin using immediately, including body awareness, journaling, spending time in nature, and creating intentional moments of quiet to hear your own inner voice more clearly.
If you've ever found yourself saying, "I knew it all along," this episode is for you.
