Seo, Ph.D., Lipedema Project Board President and Director of Research, Leslyn Keith, OTD, CLT-LANA, and guest experts. Exploring Low-Carb Solutions for Lipedema: Case Study Insights
2024/02/26
Today, I'll cover two case studies on carbohydrate restriction for treating lipedema. The second case study, led by Dr. Roberto Cannataro in Italy, delves into using a ketogenic diet to manage lipedema. Titled "Management of Lipedema with Ketogenic Diet: 22-Month Follow-Up," this paper contributes to Cannataro's extensive research on ketogenic diets for various medical conditions. Despite differences in dietary approaches, both studies showed significant improvements in lipedema symptoms.
