Description

The vision of the ministry is to see the fulfillment of Ephesians 4: 12-13: For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ; till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. We believe that Christ is coming for a perfect Church, without spot, wrinkle, blemish or any such thing. Pastor Olubi Johnson is the President of Christ Life Ministries and Founder/Setman of Scripture Pasture Christian Centre Ibadan, Nigeria.

The Faith and Patience of Esther and Mordecai (3)
2026/09/27
Esther and Mordecai, Part Two, follows the remarkable reversal from threatened destruction to deliverance. Pastor Olubi Johnson traces Esther’s patience after favour, Haman’s pride, Mordecai’s remembered faithfulness, providential timing, and the appointed moment of courageous speech.   The gallows prepared for Mordecai becomes Haman’s end, while a second decree turns the day of death into defence, joy, and testimony. Purim preserves the memory of God’s hidden hand.   The story ultimately calls believers to mortify compromise, trust providence, honour spiritual inheritance, and turn elevation into service so grace can reach another generation.

Queen Esther has every reason to let the palace insulate her from the world, and then a message arrives from the gate. A decree threatens her people, and Mordecai will not be silenced by comfortable clothing. Pastor Olubi Johnson reads Esther as living allegory, the Church called out of comfort, the Spirit crying from the gate, and traces her fasting before she ever crosses the threshold. If I perish, I perish, she says, and the King extends His golden sceptre.

The Faith and Patience of Joshua and Caleb (2)
2026/09/20
Two spies saw the same giants as ten others and returned with the opposite report. Pastor Olubi Johnson traces the different spirit that carried Caleb from Kadesh-Barnea to the mountain of the Anakim, forty-five years later, at eighty-five years old, still asking for the hardest inheritance. A message on faith and patience, hupomone and makrothumia, and the promised land every believer is called to possess: the fulness of Christ Himself, as He is, so are we in this world today.

The Faith and Patience of Elisha (2)
2026/09/20
Elijah stands before Ahab because he first stood before God, is quietly hidden at Cherith, calls down fire on a repaired altar, and prays seven times for rain. Broken under a broom tree, he is restored to raise Elisha, who burns his bridges, pours water on Elijah's hands, and asks for a double portion as a firstborn son. Pastor Olubi Johnson traces prophetic courage and mentorship, closing with Elisha's cry at the Jordan: where is the LORD God of Elijah?

Three armies dying of thirst are told not to expect rain, but to dig ditches. A widow pours oil until her borrowed vessels run out. A king strikes the ground three times and stops, and a limited victory is the price of limited diligence. Pastor Olubi Johnson narrows this series to Elisha alone, tracing the obedience behind a double portion of the Spirit, and the reminder that even a prophet who raised the dead had to steward his own body.

The Faith and Patience of DAVID and Faith of SOLOMON (2)
2026/09/20
David is anointed as a shepherd boy and waits over twenty years for the throne, refusing to seize by force what God had promised by grace. Solomon inherits his father's preparation, asks for a hearing heart, and watches the glory of the Lord fill the temple he built. Pastor Olubi Johnson traces faith joined to patience, from the cave at En Gedi to the dedication at Jerusalem, and the reminder that a glorious beginning does not guarantee a faithful ending.

The Faith and Patience of SAMSON (2)
2026/09/20
None of Israel's judges was more spectacularly gifted, and none fell more publicly. Pastor Olubi Johnson traces Samson's story from a consecration he never chose, through the slow erosion of mixture and compromise, to the devastating moment he did not know the Lord had departed from him, and to a prison cell where the hair began to grow again. A message on the difference between anointing and character, and what it means to finish strong even after finishing poorly.
