James 4:5-9
2025/12/23
Man responds to God's love by accepting or rejecting God's grace and by choosing to submit or not to submit to God's will.  God resists arrogant men and gives grace to humble men, so one should submit himself to God.
James 4:1-4
2025/12/10
The lives of the Christians to whom he was writing (at least some of them) were not characterized by peace or Heavenly wisdom, but apparently were instead more like those described in James 3:14. Here we see "the effect of faith on character," or at least the effect our faith ought to have.
James 3:13-18
2025/12/03
A Christian shows his wisdom and intelligence through his humble living. This wisdom, from God, is pure, peaceable, willing to yield, full of compassion, good deeds, free from doubts and insincerity.

Friendships are very important to all people. Life is more fun when we have close friendsto share it with. They play an important role in our lives. In a world of moral decay, you need to ask yourself: "Who is my Friend?"

James 1:12-18
2025/10/03
Our study of James continues. Life is not, nor will it ever be, fair. There will always be periods of suffering, heartache, and temptation. Despite this indisputable truth, Christians can live a full and happy life.
James 1:6-11
2025/09/06
Philip and I continue our discussion of James 1. Topics we discuss are: 1) Why would God bestow wisdom on us if we doubt him, his word, and his promises? 2) What is a double-minded man? 3) Where should our trust lie? #BookOfJames #FaithWorks #JamesBibleStudy #TruthFromJames #FaithThatWorks #EnduringTrials #FaithJourney #ScriptureStudy #WordOfGod #DailyDevotion #ChristianLife #FaithOverFear

Why Christians Don't Drink
2025/08/25
This subject is, unfortunately, highly controversial to many Christians because they feel they can control their consumption, or "what I do in my home is my business," or worse, "Jesus made wine." Please don't be offended, but if that describes you, I beg you to listen to this lesson. Drinking has ZERO redeeming qualities and will cost many their soul.
Introduction to the Book of James

Will Our Loving God Condemn People to Hell?
2023/03/29
The question/comment comes up constantly: would a loving God truly condemn one to hell? Might I suggest that this is not the correct question to ask?
The Love of God
2023/03/15
