This week's episode of Now On The Tee brings in three special guests including Indiana Golf Executive Director Mike David, Campaign Chairman Steve Sterrett, and Indiana Golf Foundation President Thad Miller, to discuss the Indiana Golf Capital Campaign. Marchand was an outstanding player who attended the University of Houston, where he played on the same team as Fred Couples. He would become Fred's longtime swing coach. This episode highlights the Carmel Greyhounds, who recently won their 2nd straight Girls Golf State Championship. Head Coach Kelly Kluesner joins us to discuss winning multiple state titles, the rise of the competition over the past few years, and the impact of having four returning players from the previous season. Star player and All-State selection, Claire Swathwood also joins in to tell us about the team's focus on the state tournament, how Prairie View plays longer than other courses, the overall pressure of playing their home course, and why she chose Memphis to continue her collegiate golf career. Our last guest on this episode is the Individual Girls State Champion, Samantha Brown. Brown talks about not paying attention to the scoreboard this year, how this accomplishment differs from others, winning the prestigious mental attitude award, the impact of being in contention for this year's Indiana Women's Open, and her decision to continue playing at Purdue University.

She talks with us about the next stage in October, growing up in our Indiana Junior Golf program, being out of competitive golf due to injuries and mental stress, and how she got her itch back.

We discuss the difficulty of his Industrial Engineering education while playing collegiately at Purdue, as well as his journey to become a professional. Weiler talks about having a couple slow collegiate years prior to making significant headway in his career the last few years on the team. We also discuss his struggles missing 8 cuts in a row and how he relearned his control of the game and how that has benefited him.

For this week's episode we are joined by Charlie Schuyler, someone who has had quite the unique golf background. Schuyler played collegiately at Penn State and is a member on the Indiana Golf Foundation Board of Directors. One of his most impressive accomplishments includes his stop at Augusta National, where he served as an Assistant Pro for four years. Tune in to hear about how this opportunity arose, his encounters during his time within this position, how Augusta National was one of the most educational and inspirational experiences of Charlie's working life, and some interesting facts about the club itself.

This week's podcast highlights two recent Indiana Golf Major Champions, Nick Bienz and Kayla Benge! Bienz is our Indiana Open Winner. In this episode, he discusses where this win ranks on the professional level, the importance of confidence as a professional player, and his other experiences in the past Indiana Opens. Benge joins in to talk about her experience winning the IWGA Amateur and how much this win means to her. She also tells us about her game plan going into the final round and what it was like playing with 5X Champion Julia Potter-Bobb.
